I asked the AI tool to compare two documents that I knew to be identical.  It generated a long summary of the two documents and explained the differences, even though there were none.Why do you include an AI tool that is not honest?

I've recently noticed that it's possible to create a digital ID within Reader/Acrobat Pro which also allows creation of a user based certificate. This also allows people to create a signature as someone other than themselves which is problematic for my organization. I have followed the steps to change the registry as noted in the Adobe documentation: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Security\cPubSec - bSelfSignCertGen (0) Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cSecurity\cPubSec - bEnableCEFBasedUI (0) However the only change is the modern signature UI is changed - I can still create a new digital ID. Any advice?  

I have been creating and testing Forms for the last year and everthing has been fine. Today when I came in my version of Acrobat was 2025.001.20844. It shows a Read Aloud menu at the top of the frame. It has some nice features but it does not allow a very critical feature - reading Form Fields. I went in and made sure the Preferences under Reading  and made sure the "Read Form Fields" check box is checked. Restarted Acrobat and restarted the Windows 11 pc. That didn't worked. I "Disabled new Acrobat" and that worked. Is there anything I can do to make the form fields work in the new version? Thank you ,Diana 

The update is terrible. Comment tools are complicated and/or missing. Nothing is where it was How can I reinstall the last version??

I don’t know if this is the right channel since this is a very technical topic; if this is not the correct place, I would appreciate information about where to ask this question. My company has developed a CSP (Microsoft Cryptographic Service Provider) and a CNG KSP (Key Storage Provider) that perform signatures using keys stored by one of our products. Both the CSP and the KSP work correctly, but when I try to sign in Acrobat using a certificate associated with the CSP, it works fine; however, when I use a certificate associated with the KSP, nothing happens and no error is shown when pressing the Sign button. If I disable the “modern user interface” checkbox, it gives us a clue about the problem because it displays the following error: The Windows Cryptographic Service Provider reported an error:Access is denied.Error Code: 2147942405 I followed these instructions but the error still appears:https://helpx.adobe.com/es/acrobat/kb/windows-cryptographic-service-provi

Hi, i've see this issue in other posts but I haven't really seen a solution posted, other than for hthe poster to be contacted to DM the serials to adobe rep.  I bought about 47 licences of Acrobat 2020. We are a non-profit and have a fair amount of staff turnover and have also just had to replace people's laptops. We have previously been able to move devices but recently there's an increasing number of  serials that seem to be just stuck/broken. This is acrobat 2020  it was just installed and not linked to a user account, as there are not all user have created an adobe account and when they have there are no registered devices linked to their accounts. is there a clear process for uninstalling/unlinking this serial form one device so it can be installed on another? Uninstalled and/or just formatting the computer doesn't appear to do it.  thank  you for any assistance

Adobe Acrobat Pro (x64) keeps crashing when I attempt to either open a .PDF file or try to open the app directly. I've already uninstalled, ran the cleaner, rebooted, and reinstalled the latest version from Adobe website. I print nearly all of my MS Outlook emails to PDF in separate topical folders.  This process worked great for many years.  After an update recently there is a glitch which significantly cuts down my productivity. Set up:Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2025.001.20844MS Windows 11 Pro (starting glitching in Windows 10) Steps:1. In an open email I press the "Print" icon2. I check that "Adobe PDF" is the default printer.  The glitch happens in CutePDF and MS Print to PDF as well.3. The "Save Print Output As" window opens in the last folder I was in.4. I left click on the most recently created file to populate its' name in the "File name" field below.  I sort emails alphanumerically by date yymmdd- time (251101-1130)5. Hello All, Just a Question, Does new Acrobat 25.1 need a new license, Already have a active license for Acrobat pro DC.When i try to install it says i need to request one but when i try to do so it says  i have already requested. Let me know if anyone have any suggestions.

Currently a user will be working fine and then at random times in the day when attempting to open a pdf in Acrobat, it will not open. The issue resolves after the user restarts their computer or ends all processes of Adobe and starts Acrobat over again. It is currently only ongoing with 2 out of 100s of users at our organization. We have a non-persistent VDI environment and update the parent in order to push out apps/app updates to our users, Because of this uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not seem like it would be the fix as we would see this problem with our other users. Does anyone have any thoughts for a fix?

I recently started encountering a bug where Adobe Acrobat isn't splitting PDFs into the correct number of pages that are shown in the text box. For example the "number of pages" I'm splitting will be shown as 1, but the files it creates will have 2 pages per document; or it'll give me the error "File already has 2 pages or fewer" when I have a 2-page PDF that I'm trying to split in half. If I delete the number 1 and enter it in again it will start working correctly, but it'll revert to the previous behavior when I try to split the next PDF. I've also experienced this when the number of pages is set to 2 or more, it will sometimes split a different number of pages instead. I've been splitting PDFs in Acrobat for years and it only just started happening. I've tried restarting Acrobat, rebooting the PC and reinstalling Acrobat to no avail. Dear Community,I got a PDF file for a training I am delivering. We have a few places in that file, where participants can fill text boxes. When trying to fill the text box in English, everything works fine. When I try to fill it in Hebrew letters - nothing happens ot I have on screen very small shapes like bullets. I ticked the "right-to-left" options in the prefrences, restarted the reader and my computer - it didn't help. I don't have the PRO version, I have Win10...Can it be a matter of fonts maybe?This is very urgent for me. Thank you so much,M

Why do I randomly need to re-enter my email and password to use Adobe Acrobat?My organisation has paid for it.  It worked fine two days ago.   Why do I get kicked out and asked to re-enter my password on software that has already been paid for?And why does Adobe not remember my password and force me to reset it?This extra 10 minutes of messing around is extremely annoying when I am just trying to simply read a document.This is not how you should treat paying customers.

We use stamps for documents at my work.  I have created many, many unique stamps for our industry.  The problem is when opening the stamp palette the stamps are organized according to when they were added.  This is fine until we add a new one and it is nowhere near where we might look.  As far as I can tell, there is no way to either search or rearrange the stamps in the palette once entered.  Is there ANY way to manipulate the stamps once they have been added to a palette?  I sure hope so!  Thanks!

I'm trying to highlight selected text of an existing document. However, when I do this, Acrobat DC Pro automatically creates a comment. I want to highlight text without creating a comment. How do I do this?

Is there a way to permanently disable Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer?For reasons beyond my control I am not allowed to use cloud storage. The Collab Sync process holds files open, meaning I often cannot regenerate a PDF file if I've viewed the previous version of this file in Acrobat. I can get around this by using task manager to shut down the Collab Sync process, but it's a pain to keep doing this.I found a different solution which was to locate and delete the AdobeCollabSync.exe file - which works for a while. But Creative Cloud is constatnly pushing updates which include reinstalling this file. I'm looking for a permanent solution to eliminate this process.

Is it possible within Adobe Acrobat to insert a PDF into another PDF with its file name showing as a bookmark and with the option to delete the inserted PDF without having to resort to a PDF plug-in such as PDFlyer?  If not, why not Adobe Acrobat computer programmers?

Hello, I have an excel spreadsheet that I have turned into a form with Adobe Acrobat Pro that has a qty field, a price field and a total field, among others. I have set the total field to automatically calculate to the product of the Qty field and price field, which works fine. The issue is that by default it displays a zero (or actually, $0.00, since I have it formatted to price), and so if people print out the form to fill it out manually, they have to cross out the zero. Is custom javascript the only way to get the field to be conditionally hidden or non-printable? If not, can you tell me a better method? If so, can you point me to an example of this that works? I can provide screenshots if necessary.

Adobe is freezing and force closing while i try to print a pdf. I tried to run an update, it sat for 4 hours with no movement. Canceled the update, tried to repair instillation and it freezes then says 'cannot install while another program is installing'. restrarted the computer, verified i have no instillations happening, and its still telling me it cant repair, and its also telling me it cant update. I have to get these printed today, but it wont even let me uninstall adobe to try to reinstall it.

Hi,Since a while (1-2 months) my toolbar and location of the left and right side-panel have changed.E.G.the number of pages and moving a page up or down is moved to the right side-panel;the content of the right side-panel has moved to the left, e.g. bookmarks, tiles;the content of the left side panel has moved to the right, e.g. tools to edit;I want to change it back. Is that possible or is this the new, enhanced look of Acrobat?
