Helt plötsligt så går det inte att konvertera mina Excel eller Word till pdf. Försökt att göra så som jag brukar men filen konverteras inte?

Hello Adobe Acrobat community!I am currently working on compiling downloadable spec sheets and technical comparison reports for my electric vehicle resource project, goelectrichub.com.My main workflow involves creating data charts and infographics, and then combining them into comprehensive PDF guides for our readers. However, I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock with file optimization. Because these reports contain multiple high-resolution technical charts, the final PDF size ends up being quite large, which slows down direct browser viewing and downloading speeds.I want to ensure that readers can easily download and read these specs without losing the clarity of the fine text and gridlines in the charts.Could anyone share their recommended workflow or best practices within Adobe Acrobat for optimizing and compressing image-heavy technical documents while maintaining crisp visual quality? Any advice on reducing file size effectively would be greatly appreciated!

Why are we not given a simple fix to Adobe Cloud storage that we can opt in or opt out?  With all the money your company is making with subscription services your company should have the funds to make this easier for the rest of us to do and you forget why you are in business to meet your consumers needs. I do not want my files stored remotely.  I have my own backups for my work.  I had stopped using Adobe years ago and the only reason I am a subscriber is for my higher-educational purposes only.  So now it is more ardous to delete files that I no longer need after completion of my courses. It was a sad day when Adobe went to cloud applications from desktop apps.

I appreciate the support.I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2026 (Enterprise). I’m trying to send a PDF for signature, but our organization does not use cloud‑based services, so we cannot use the E‑Signature (Request E‑Signatures) workflow. I would like to use Fill & Sign instead and then lock or secure the document so the signature cannot be removed or altered.Is there a way to fully secure a PDF after using Fill & Sign so the signature becomes non‑editable?I tried Microsoft Print to PDF, but the resulting file still allowed me to delete the signature when using Edit PDF. I also tried Save as Adobe PDF, but that did not secure the signature either.Could someone please explain:Whether Fill & Sign signatures can be made non‑editableWhat Save a Certified Copy doesWhether “Certified Copy” involves saving the document to the cloud or if it remains localThank you again for your help.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. I used to have the ability to scan and save a document as a pdf file. Then edit that saved document and re-save as the same file name. I recently got a new computer and re-downloaded the program. Now every time I make changes to a document, I cannot simply "save". It forces me to "save as" every time (thus, creating a 2nd file). I'm sure I'm just missing something in the settings but I can't find it.Any thoughts? Thanks!Pam

Hello,I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2026.001.21691; Enterprise License.I recently used the Combine Files tool in Acrobat Pro to create a PDF from multiple file types (Word, PDF, and one JPG). Everything combined correctly, but the JPG page is significantly smaller than the Letter‑sized pages in the document. The “Set Page Boxes” tool shows Letter as greyed out, so I can’t change the page size.What’s the correct way to enlarge the image page so it becomes Letter size like the others?Thank you

While converting a tagged word doc to a pdf the alt text is transposed to a random number/digit combo on both the original word doc and the PDF, IF THE ALT-TEXT converts. After multiple attempts there conversions where the Alt-text does not transpose or it will perfectly but the rest of the content will be in a weird text that PDF does not allow me to change. If the Alt text is not converted over, PDF does not allow me to copy and paste the alt text in, or save when I hand type them in. 

HI, I’m using PAC to test my PDF for WCAG and its coming up with an error for Text object not tagged but when I click on the error it shows me an object that appears to be off the side of the page. I can’t figure out what the object is, or where it is. See the screen shot from PAC. I tried using the find untagged content tool and couldn’t find anything. Thanks, 

I need to take a one page PDF document and insert several page breaks into it. I use Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and can not seem to find anyway to split one page into several pages. What I have been doing is converting the PDF to Excel and doing it that way but the text is compromised and I find myself spending a lot of time modifying the whole structure of the document. The easiest would be to use Adobe Acrobat to keep the document exactly as it appears in original PDF form and just break the page up using a page break insert like the one in Excel. Any help would be appreciated.

Very simple post, Adobe says that using the combiner is free. Twice. Yet it is not and instead requires a paid subscription. Why? Please fix Adobe.

I have a credit card statement in .pdf form that doesn’t print properly. There are four pages. Page one has the information on amount due, due date, etc. Page two is legal fine print. Page three is the individual charges with some graphics. Page four is more fine print. When I print the statement on an HP inkjet pages 1,2 and 4 print just fine but page three only prints the graphics, no texso the individual charges don’t appear just some separator lines and graphics. Is this an adobe issue or something else?

My Adobe Acrobat account is on my phone. And for some reason does not seem to be on my laptop. So I was wondering if I can use the same login credentials I use on my phone to log into Adobe Acrobat on my laptop.

I’m using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2026.001.21789 with the new interface.A few weeks ago, when I selected text in a PDF, a small popup appeared with options like Copy Text, Edit Text, Share Text to WhatsApp, and Generate Image. Now that same popup no longer includes the Generate Image option.I tried selecting the exact same text in the same file, as well as other text in the document, but the option still doesn’t appear. The file isn’t protected and isn’t stored in the cloud. I even tried selecting text in another file and it doesn’t appear.How can an option like Generate Image show up once and then disappear weeks later? What controls when this option is available? 

I/we have this issue too. I’m on a new laptop, installed Creative Cloud and Acrobat yesterday, can’t access digital signing. Click “Request e-signatures” results in nothing, if I select the “E-Sign” tab I get the two spinning wheel icons mentioned previously in this thread, signature functionality never loads.

signature field should not have other characters except A-Z, a-z and _ while prepare a form in Adobe DC. How to remove other characters from the field name. 

The Acrobat Share window constantly stops working. It regularly shows a blank window. Restarting the application does get it working again, but this requires constant restarting which is very disruptive. This is a simple feature and it should either work or not exist… Can Adobe please look at making this feature reliable? Acrobat 2026.001.21691MacBook Pro 2023 - M2 Pro (32GB RAM)macOS Tahoe 26.5.2  

I need to convert a pdf file that has embedded jpg images in it to jpg format, so that the entire page is one image.  When doing this, the resulting jpg page has only average image quality.  Is there a way to set a higher DPI to increase the quality of the jpg file?Also, I have needed to “erase” parts of some embedded jpg images.  I used the “redact” tool with both the fill and outline set to white to do this. When saving the file to make the redactions permanent, the resulting pdf has lower quality as well.  Is there some way around this issue?

I installed Acrobat Pro (Adobe Acrobat 64-bit) with PC with Zscaler ZIA. After Acrobat is started, sign in window appears, but shown page is white and nothing is on the window.If I disable ZIA, signin page is appeared and I can sigin. After Signin, Acrobat Pro works with ZIA.Could you tell me which URL need to be whitelisted on ZIA for Acrobat Pro sign in?

My client pdfs have both auto-generated image descriptions and Comment bubbles.  When I click a comment bubble, I see the comment popup for ONE SECOND before being replaced with the gray image description popup.I am aware that I can open the Comments pane and read the comments there.  Clicking comments in the comment pane even goes to the page, and wiggles that bubble.  This is helpful, but reverse of how a page is typically read.How do I disable image description popups? How do I enforce Comment bubbles as priority? The closest I’ve come to solving this myself is Preferences > Commenting > Pop-Up Open Behavior. Uncheck “Hide comment pop-ups when Comments List is open” Check “Automatically open pop-ups on mouse rolloverThat gives me a different style comment popup on hover that persists behind the image description popup.Clicking the comment bubble causes the different style comment popup to persist, and moving my mouse away from the image hides the image description. To be clear

I have a document in which I want to attach a file.  I go to Tools -> Comment -> Attach File.  I've selected the file that I want to add, then I'm given the choice of icons that I want to represent that file on the document.  THIS is my question.  The Graph, Paperclip, Attachment, or Tag icons don't really appeal to me - I would like a different icon.  How do I do that?Thanks,
