Solved

I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro and I'm trying to install the upgrade but its taking forever. How long these usually take? I've already been waiting for 40 minutes and there is no sign of progress. There hasn't been any issues with other software installations.I have stable internet connection and a good pc.

I've seen other posts dancing around this issue, but not one that address my bug directly. Here is my process- using a sample file After taking the pictures with my camera I  import them directly into LR     DSC_2574.nef @ 8256x5504  I edit as normal (including crop, but this photo had no crop)  I tap Export -> Edit in PS  PS opens up with the picture    DSC_2574-Edit.psd @ 2560 x 1707  I do my edit (add transparancy, etc, but not important to this bug)  I send the photo back to LR    DSC_2574-Edit.psd @ 2560 x1707 I've read some posts abnout having the full res photo in the cloud, and not just the smart preview The full res file is on the ipad, in the LR catalogIt is in a sync'd collectionThe collection is sync'd to LRCLRC know has the full res photo, as referenced by both LRC and the Windows File exporer. Also, just for completion, I have "store locally" checked on the collection&nbs

Hey everyone, my rotoscope was working for a second, then just completely stopped.  I know the basics of AE, so I'm sure I must have clicked something wrong.  Basically, I will start using my roto brush tool (see image below): And when I try to go around a fully highlight the subject, the roto brush tool doesn't connect/isolate the subject in pink like it's suppose to.  It just shuts off and goes back to normal like this (see image below):  I'm sure there is an easy fix or something I might be doing wrong!  Can anyone help please!?!  I've been trying to fix this for 2 days.  I cleared my cache, shut down and restarted a billion times.  Any suggestions or thoughts?  Thanks for any info in advance!  🙂

I have now been using Premiere Pro for over two weeks and have done fairly well in creating video to put online for our church. I am now experiencing a problem that I cannot find in this forum. This started about Thursday last week.  Here is what I was doing:I have Created a sequence file using two .mov videos shot from iPhones. (Same iPhones I have been using with no problem.) I follow the steps of creating a bin, putting my two clips in the bin, create a multi-camera sequence based on the audio, wait for the sequence folder  to create and then click the file in the folder and select New Sequence from Clip. I immediately get a salmon colored box in the bottom left corner of the screen with "Matrix cannot be inverted" example below. the screen goes black and the only way to get close the program is to close it through Task Manager. Why would this start after using Premiere Pro for almost two weeks?  I am running Window 10 and Using Premiere Pro

Is it permissible in ID for text anchors to overlap? For example, if I have a piece of text that reads Brown v. Board of Education, can "Brown" be a text anchor and "Brown v. Board of Education" be another, or will that mess ID up. Thanks.

Hello- I have done lots of Googling but I am still very confused about mismatched color profiles. It began when I thought I sent the same art to the printer as previously, with a small type change. But, the color numbers changed when it arrived there. I am not sure what I chose (or what I am supposed to choose) when I opened it to make the edit and then re-saved it. After thought I thought I synced the profiles across CC but now I get warnings every time I open anything in InDesign or Illustrator (attaching screen shots). I have one particular file that it is important that the cmyk colors do not change when I 1) open it, then 2) cut and paste something in that file to another, and then 3) when the printer opens it. When opening do I preserve color numbers? Embedded profile? Should I sync in Bridge to North American General Purpose 2 or North America Prepress 2? I am most concerned that the colors match across print projects that I send out and that my screen shows me said colors befor

Lr Classic v14.4 Lost KWs in the Keyword List and removed keywords assigned to photos.   Example KW List had a hierarchy of political taxanomic terms (continent, federal, state/province/canton/etc., county/shire/etc., municipality). For example, Kennebunkport Maine would be: Kennebunkport<York<Maine<US<NA<_Places. All of the hierarchy is missing.   Most photos, 10s of thousands, had the keywords from _Places removed. Some have only the municipality (no hierarchy).   I have other hierarchies of keywords that are also missing and those KWs removed from photos.   How do I restore them?   I have tried the post that discussed deleting <catalog> Helper.lrdata. It did not restore the KWs.   No other discussions seem to apply.    [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I send a lot of albums to clients for event photography via the share option. I copy the link and email it to them. When you download photos from this link, there is no size option when they start the download so they are getting my R5's 8192x5464 files. I think it would be really nice if you could have like 3 download options... original, web and custom. Is there a reason this isn't included? Should I be doing something in LR to resize them before sharing?

Hello, I have received a document for formatting. The client wants me to add trackers to the PDF. He sent specific instructions such as: Typesetter Instructions for Hidden TrackersAll hidden trackers will be placed in the following locations:-Footer, below page number-Following the period ending the last sentence of Scope-HIDDEN COLOR MUST BE ZERO PERCENT BLACK-Codes for each group are as follows: ANSI Code: xxxxxxName with document designation and distributor name (e.g., document_name_ansi.pdf) CEI Code: xxxxxName with document designation and distributor name (e.g., document_name_cei.pdf) And there are more codes to be added. I never worked with trackers in PDF. I am not tech-savvy when it comes to working with scripts, HTML, or other similar tools. I need some help with that. Thank you very much. Sebastian

I'm suddenly unable to import .srt files into Premiere Pro; I get "the importer reported a generic error." I've tried these things:Moving the file to a different locationRenaming the file (although that seems to be for when you get that error on video files)Restarted my computerDownloaded a new caption file from YouTube and saved it with another nameI've had this error with more than one .srt file and in more than one project. I'm on a PC, Windows 10; Premiere is up to date. I found an old thread where someone said that they solved the problem by deleting .xmp files but there was no explanation of how to do that and haven't been able to find an answer on Google.

Specs: Mac Studio M1 max, 64GB, Ventura 13.0.1 I am running into a strange issue with a few files I got from Motion Array. The files are a variation of 3D renders exported as Mp4s and MOVs that I am using for some green screen backdrops and overlays. The original files have no artifacts, or glitches but once I bring them into After effects they are unusable. I have also tried rendering them to prores 422 using media encoder, but the artifacts appear in the renders. I thought I found my issue here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/footage-glitch-in-both-after-effects-and-premiere/td-p/10317417  Unfourtnately none of the fixes suggested worked, the anything enabling mercury acceleration helped with reducing the artifacts. Any suggestions would be amazing.

Ui am pretty new in Adobe Premiere Pro. I added rectangles to show specific areas in my video. I found how to change the appearance, incl. line color, fill,  shadow etc. but I don't know how to specify the duration of a shape if I want it to appear only at a specific point and stay for just a few seconds. Can you explain in detail, please?Thank you.

Hi. I'm brand-new to Photoshop. I've never used it in my life. I have to scan quite a few Kodak color slides. I'm using an Epson 12000XL scanner to do this. They're being scanned as TIFFs, 3000dpi, 24-bit color. When I open them up in Photoshop, they could be a lot sharper. How can I make the images sharper in Photoshop? I've attached one sample slide below (as JPG, 3000dpi, 24-bit color). Notice that the edges of everything are kind of blurry. I'm using Photoshop CC 2017, and I'm on a PC. The images will not be printed out; they will be used on a PowerPoint presentation. The person in charge of the project wants them to be at 3000dpi.Please be kind. I am brand new to this. Many thanks!

When I try to print a document in pdf it will not print it will only save to file or save. I have set the print to pdf but nothing happens. this type of document is a Probate questionaire from a lawyer. I have tried everything I can think of, I tried to get help from Adobe but they say they only help paying customers not customers with free accounts.Im not real savvy when it comes to these type of things on a computer.

Good afternoon,I purchased 1 years subscription online Adobe Acrobat Export PDF and downloaded the app. When I opened a PDF file and selected 'edit text and images' I was taken to a page that said 'Start free trial now'. On my Adobe homepage, it displays my plan which includes; PDF services, and Acrobat Export PDF. Below that window a box says 'Included with your account is Adobe Acrobat', so I click on that, which takes me to a page that says 'Hi Hamish Adobe Acrobat Export PDF...', under that window is a box that says 'edit text and images' so I click on that and another window opens up and says 'start free trial'.  Am I missing something here, because my subscription displays that I can edit a PDF file, which is false. I have paid for something and did not receive it. Could someone please help me?

In the new Lightroom Classic 14.4, if you roll back a Denoise edit in the History panel, can you reclaim the space it used in the .lrcat-data file by running Optimize Catalog to reduce the file size? I assume the same question applies to other data stored in .lrcat-data too, such as masks, healing layers, and AI-driven edits?

Hi Experts, do you konw how to chagne my default settings, so that whatever audio I dragged onto my timeline will be displayed in a single track with a single waveform? I tried Preference > Timeline > Default Audio Tracks, set it to "Sterio" , gives me two waveform in a single track ;I also tried Preference > Timeline > Default Audio Tracks, set it to "Mono" , gives me one waveform in two tracks ; but none of these are optimal. Anyway to default all audio as one waveform in one track in my project?Thankssss!

Hello!I use a lot of cross-refs which consist of a chapter number and some text, separated by a space and everything enclosed in quotation marks. Example: "1.1 This is an example"I made a GREP to find them:  (")(\d+.+?) (.+?)(")For some reason, using the placeholders for left and right double quotation marks doesn't work in my document, but in another, so I used the "any" placeholder. So far, this GREP finds all cross-refs. However, it's supposed to stop at the end, at the right double quotation mark that encloses the cross-ref.Some of the headlines the cross-refs are made from also contain their own quotation marks, so that some of the cross-refs turn out as: "1.1 This is "another" example" What happens when using the GREP? It would stop at the first right quotation mark. I have tried a lot, but I cannot find the correct extension for my GREP, to sort of skip both or all of the inner quotation marks.  Anyone has a solution, other than to replace the
