Solved

Good day. I apologize if I am writing in the wrong thread, I am in despair, I can not solve the problem:I need to Create a Control Text Layer (donor text), and bind another layer with text to it, so that any changes in (donor text) would affect all other bound layers with text.The expression "thisComp.layer("donor text").text.sourceText" only changes the content of the text! But the style, font and other attributes are not transferred to the bound layers!!!The option from the GPT chat does not work either:srcDoc = thisComp.layer("donor text").text.sourceText;dstDoc = createTextDocument(srcDoc.text); // clone with the same text------------------------------------// transfer the main stylesdstDoc.font = srcDoc.font;dstDoc.fontSize = srcDoc.fontSize;dstDoc.applyFill = srcDoc.applyFill;dstDoc.fillColor = srcDoc.fillColor;dstDoc.applyStroke = srcDoc.applyStroke;dstDoc.strokeColor = srcDoc.strokeColor;dstDoc.strokeWidth = srcDoc.strokeWidth;dstDoc.leading = srcDoc.leading;dstDoc.tracking = s

For years I had a version of Adobe Acrobat 9.0 (that I paid for) that I ran on my Windows machine and worked pretty well to modify PDF documents.  Well the geniuses at Adobe got me the other day.  Somehow I managed to agree to an update and now the program is GONE and I no longer have the ability to edit PDF documents. Every time I try I am pay-walled.  Totally sucks.  And on top of that, I now have worthless McAfee on the machine.  Thanks Adobe! I am going to try to reinstall it but if I can't, there is no way this Darth Vadar of a company will ever get one cent out of me forever.   Edit: Found the installation disk and am back up and running with my old-school stand-alone desktop version that doesn't require a subscription.  Ha ha.

I am trying to export a PDF document as a JPG. what do i need to purchase to be able to do this?

I changed Background color in a PDF using Aceobat but white background still shows

Hi all. I am trying to create a wallpaper for an old vintage bus under restoration. I thought I could use Adobe Illustrator to do it.  My illustrator crashes . I have a 8 core AMD processor , 32 Gb ram, GPU Radeon 5500 xt 8 Gb. Windows 10 (latest) Can your illustrator handle it ? hier it is. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mt3XMCZ_q3-mmVGV2gPcNvvy1fuF0v9B/view?usp=sharing Thanks in advance. Niels.

I have been successfully running Photoshop in 30 Bit Display mode on my Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti video card since 2020. I use a 10 bit test ramp image to confirm I am actually getting 10 bits per channel - if the image displays with no banding then this confirms the display is genuinely at 30 bits (10 bits per channel). Conversely, if banding is visible, this demonstrates that the display is not at 10 bits per channel. I attach the PSD file for this image here. Until recently this all worked fine. I recently noticed some unexpected banding in an image and so I checked my display using the 10 bit test ramp image. The image displayed banding when opened, which confirmed the display was not actually operating at 10 bpc. However, as soon as I moved the mouse around on the screen, the banding disappeared. When I stopped moving the mouse, it reappeared. Note, banding disappears only when the mouse cursor is moved over the document window section of the Photoshop window - that is, banding

Request for Complete Premiere Pro C++ SDK Dear Adobe Developer Support, I am currently developing a professional-grade plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro using C++. I have downloaded the SDK packages labeled for 2022, 2023, and 2024 from the Adobe Developer site. However, these SDKs appear to be incomplete — specifically, they do not contain essential header files such as PrSDKPlugPlug.h and PrSDKPlugin.h, which are required for building native effect plug-ins using the classic C++ API (not UXP or CEP). It seems that recent public SDK versions only contain sample projects or partial UXP/JavaScript resources, and not the full set of headers and libraries required for native C++ development. Therefore, I kindly request access to the complete C++ Premiere Pro SDK, including all core header files and libraries necessary to build and integrate a fully functional native plug-in. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide either: A direct download link to the full SDK package, or Inst

Every single time I try to export my photo to my computer, it just keeps on saying "Some export operations were not performed." "There was an unknown error. (1.) I even tried restarting Lightroom Classic along with updating it. Nothing is working for me.

I downloaded the latest LRc (may 9th). Now it won't open my catalog, telling me it already being used (it's not). I uninstalled and reinstalled LRc. Shut down, restarted the mac. No joy. Everything was working fine before the LRc update. Really frustrating. MacBook Pro M3 proup to date Sequoia 15.4.1LRc 14.3.1 I uploaded the message I get

Hello,I'm developing a custom plugin for Substance 3D Painter version 11.0.1 using the Python API on Windows 11.Using add_plugins_toolbar_widget(), I successfully added a QPushButton to the plugin toolbar. However, I’m having trouble matching the button’s size to the default plugin toolbar icon buttons (such as the resources-updater icon).I tried using setFixedSize() to manually set the size, but it doesn’t perfectly match the default icons.Here is a simplified version of my code: import substance_painter from PySide6 import QtWidgets # Global variable sample = None class Button: def __init__(self): self.initialization() def initialization(self): self.init_widget_button() self.show_ui() def init_widget_button(self): self.button = QtWidgets.QPushButton() self.button.setFixedSize(32, 32) def show_ui(self): substance_painter.ui.add_plugins_toolbar_widget(self.button) def cleanup(self): if self.

I've been having this issue for a long time and it's something I've always either not notice or worked around, but it's become incredibly frustrating lately and I can't seem to find a solution to my problem.Here is my problem:I start a new document in CMYK.Default fill is ffffff (white), default stroke is 231f20 (grayish black)This gets applied to any shape I create. When I start using the text tool, the default is a fill of 231f20 and a stroke of ffffff.Is there any way I can change all default black colors to 000000? I have not yet been able to find a single solution that will solve this problem for new documents or shapes I create, meaning that I have to change the black color a million different times for every project to avoid using any 231f20.I believe this has been a problem for me with every version of illustrator, mac or pc, since CS6.Please let me know if you need any additional info.

Hi,I'm trying to find text with specific character style and create a new anchored TextFrame.The code below works only on first match. var main = function() { var doc = app.properties.activeDocument, found, foundlength, selection = app.selection[0] if ( !doc ) return; app.findGrepPreferences = null; app.findGrepPreferences.properties = { findWhat : ".+", appliedCharacterStyle : "style1" }; found = selection.findGrep(); foundlength = found.length if ( !found.length ) { alert("Nothing found"); return; } for (i = 0; i<foundlength; i++) { var myNewTextFrame = found[i].insertionPoints[0].textFrames.add(); //myNewTextFrame.appliedObjectStyle = objectStyle; found[i].move(LocationOptions.AT_BEGINNING, myNewTextFrame.insertionPoints[0]); } } app.doScript(String(main()),ScriptLanguage.JAVASCRIPT,[],UndoModes.ENTIRE_SCRIPT,'main');

Basically anything try to open, including Preferences, gets closed down automatically, right before it opens. This includes saving, creating a new file and so on. Every box that has to be opened on top of the program screen gets closed down right after it appears. Tried to reinstall and it didn't work.

How do you consistently get the color swatch color names to show up in the color picker?  I can get the box of all the shades of colors but rarely the drop down where you can choose a color by name such as "white" or "black" etc.

Hi everyone!I'm new to Adobe Firefly and really excited to start creating. I’d love some tips or resources on how to begin, especially for basic text-to-image creation. Any advice or tutorials for beginners would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I want to search and replace content inside text layers (e.g. X -> x). I found this code but it throws an error if there is a text layer in the file that uses the missing font. Is there any way to skip such layers?

Hello,I’m looking for an efficient way to draw a line in Adobe Illustrator with regularly spaced triangles ("teeth") on one side, similar to the convention used for thrust fault symbols on geological maps (like the red marked lines on the attached image).Is there a recommended method to create this?Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
