Help! My 2025 indesign version 20.2 is crashing constantly - i keep getting this message and it's dangerous with working files as it's already corrupt one: "Adobe InDesign is shutting down. A serious error was detected. Please restart InDesign to recover work in any unsaved InDesign documents."Using M4 Mac MiniI'm saving to a hard drive or mac and not cloudI've deleted preferences in the library, resetpreferences in the app plus also unstalled indesign and redownloaded it. All no effect 😞Any ideas?     <Title renamed by MOD>

Hello I get "how To" instructional emails from Adobe and recently got one on how to blend two images in PS. I wanted to learn how to do this and so I downloaded the sample files that were provided by Adobe (both .psd files). But when I tried to open them up in PS, it gave me a message saying that PS "could not open the clipboard because PS didn't recognize this type of file". I don't get it. THe files were from Adobe and were .psd files. I updated PS just in case, but it still would not open these files. PS works fine otherwise. I can move images from Lightroom etc. What am I missing? Is there some setting that needs to be changed? thanks in advance

The new Action Menu is extremely inconvenient, and the design is terrible. I can confidently say that the person who came up with this design has clearly never actually used this menu themselves. Some things simply do not need to be redesigned. I would like to revert to the previous version of the menu if there is any way to do that directly within my program, because this is simply awful. It’s one of my most frequently used tools, and now it has become almost unusable.

Hi adobe!  The "Preferences" window does not open properly. I updated the latest version and restarted my computer. The problem is still there, see attached screenshot. Thank you in advance for your help!

I parented the position of the puppet pin 'L1' to the null layer 'L1',and the pin 'L2' to the null layer 'L2'.The expression used is: thisComp.layer("L1").transform.positionThen, I parented both null layers 'L1' and 'L2' to the null layer 'L' to control them together(using the pick whip in the "Parent & Link" section to link the layers themselves, not just the position). However, the control doesn’t work. The null layer 'L' does not affect them as expected.

My photo was rejected with the following message: "Missing Generative AI Flag". No AI was involved in the photo and I have the RAW to prove it. What can I do?

Hi,I created thousands of images related to spring and uploaded them to my profile a couple of months ago. But I noticed that the number of downloads is very limited. Is there still an opportunity to download spring photos?

I tried Adobe Stock for free, and I didn't want to subcribe, but a month later money were withdrawn. Can I cancel subscription and get my money back? There was no purchase.

How does on reduce the scope of smart guides? All I want to do is extend a line on its path, as in "on" guide, but it constantly finds other objects at vast distances that are complete unwanted and redender the tool useless. My work around is to copy the line and place them end point to end point, merge the anchors, delete the new anchor and finally cut the line to the desired length. What a hack. As a side, I find Adobe help impossible to navigate and only come here out of hours of wondering, is there a better way?

I opened Lightroom, but there was no response. However, when I opened the Task Manager, Lightroom was indeed running.I opened Creative Cloud, but it took a long time, and eventually it told me that files were missing or damaged and needed repair. So I clicked "Repair", and after the repair was completed, I tried opening Creative Cloud again. It still took a long time and then told me the files were missing or damaged and needed repair again......I am using Windows 11 and haven't had any system updates recently. I’ve been using Lightroom and other Adobe products on this computer normally for years, and this issue only started happening recently. The only antivirus software on my computer is the built-in "Windows Security Center."I haven’t tried fully uninstalling Creative Cloud because it requires uninstalling other Adobe products first, and I'm afraid it might damage the Lightroom directory or settings.

Text / all words are missing from PDF when opened on mac in adobe (paid software). These text and words show on iPhone. Computer and software are up to date. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Any removals I made with the heal tool keep undoing every time I close and re-open the app. It says "some remove settings need to be updated"   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Hey guys, so recently I entirely exported my catalog from my Macbook air to my desktop so I can take advantage of the larger local storage there. I completed the export and its now on my desktop, and I've deleted the catalog from my macbook. Previously, I was syncing my catalog from my macbook to my desktop, now I want to achieve the opposite to get the smart previews on my macbook.  After this I also deleted all of my sync data so I could start fresh (which maybe in hindsight was a bad idea?) However, when I try to sync on my laptop it just dosen't sync anything, it says everything is synced and backed up but theres nothing there. When I try to turn on sync on my desktop I get "Sync this catalog instead" popup. The popup says im currently syncing "Lightroom Catalog.lrcrat" which is the default catalog I had to make on my macbook after I deleted the old catalog after the move. Then it says "Would you like to sync Mac to Pc.lcrat instead?" (which is the new name

Files imported through lightroom into folder on hard drive.  All jpgs showing in lightroom in folder, but not the raw files (dng).  If I try to synchronise, the dng files are showing as greyed out.  Lightroom 14.2, Windows 11

After I have updated Photoshop to v. 26.6, the issue is that when I have two documents open, normal bitmap pictures, and I use the pen tool on one of them, suddenly it jumps to the other picture! I have found out, that working on the first opened picture are okay, but working on the second opened picture, the pen tool jumps to number one, and back, and loosing the path.I'm on Windows 10, and with GPU driver updated.I can also see that shifting between documents with ctrl+tabulator, are not working normal anymore.I was very eager to try the new features in 26.6 (I'm not a BETA man), so I upgraded at once it came, butI must say that I have regretted! And by the way..... I know that this is a user forum, so does anyone know how to report such a bug to Adobe himself........ I have spend a lot of time to find the way to do so, but out of luck! RegardGert Laursen

I am having trouble uploading files after migrating the site from local environment to the web. Following is the relevant section of code from a coldfusion function that uploads files using BlueImp: <cffunction name="POST" access="private" returnformat="json"> <cfargument name="options" type="struct" required="true"> <cfargument name="listing_id" type="any" required="false" default=""> <cfset var result = 0 > <cfset var vThumbnail = 0 > <cfset var fileInfo = "" > <cfset var fileName = "" > <cftry> <cfset fileInfo = GetFileInfo(form['files[]']) /> <!---<cfdump var="#fileInfo#"><cfabort>---> ...In my local environment, selecting a file produces the following, which is a dump of the form variables used by the function:LOCAL DEV ENVIRONMENTThen BlueImp does its thing via the POST function shown above and the <cfdump var="#fileInfo#"&gt

I just updated it but it's hidden under the image like that, I have to click close to the edge of the image to get most of it out. Is there a way to make it show up on the image? Thanks You !

Here's the basics: whenever I try and create a new file on the latest version of Photoshop, it loads and then does nothing. Attached is a video of this. Here are my specs:MacBook Air 13-inchApple M4 chip16GB memorySequoia 15.4.1Newest version of PS

Both the link between Portfolio and LRc, and that between Béhance and LRc do include the option to apply a picture from LRc. In Portfolio also the title or the subtitle may be added, but in Béhance a new title has to be added and the link to the existing title/subtitle/labels is missing. That feels like getting a new identity when emigrating or picture trafficking towards the search engines Béhance is feeding into. It feels like a missing link cq Bug to me     [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I have been making some shapes for masks, now, for some reason I can only create paths. I can no longer grab and resize my shapes, there are no handles on selection. Any rectangle or ellipse I make is now a path. It's driving me nuts.

Running into an issue with all of our users having this pop up and freezing their Adobe Pro, they have to exit out of Adobe via Task Manager to allow processes to continue. I did find a workaround for this by disabling protected mode (Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)) but was wondering if there was a better way to handle this as we have quite a bit of users running into the same issue?Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
