Solved

Hello,my laptop has no AVX2-support (Core i7 3rd Generation) and when I try to install Photoshop on it it fails.I know that the laptop is old but it is still fast enough for me.I read that PS 25.7 should run on that CPU.But in the CreateiveCloudCenter I canot download old versions anymore.Where do I get an old version of PS?I pay 750 Euro every year to adobe and cannot access old versions? Did I miss something? Greetings Stefan

Hi there,Something has gone horribly wrong with Photoshop 2023, select & mask tool, specifially when I click 'select subject'. It comes up with a message saying "Couldn’t find a subject to select. There might not be prominent objects in the image." This is 100% not true. I am using a high quality Getty image, I've never had problems with Getty images ever before, and this one doesn't evn have a particularly busy background. As a test I re-installed an earlier verison of 2022, and it selects the subject perfectly. This bug MUST be fixed because something is terrible wrong here and the latest update didn't even fix it. FYIThis problem initially persisted on version 24.0.1, and then today I noticed an update to 24.1.0 hoping this was a fix to look forward to, and still no luck. I have also included a screen grab so you can see my settings (which have never changed, so there's no reason why it would be affected).

Please put generative fill and photo editing back on my app! Its not showing up

Hi everyone~It seems there’s a history feature, and I’d like to capture the direction in which I moved the object in the previous step. For example:I just dragged an object, and now I want to know the direction of the movement—whether it was left, right, up, or down.If the object was moved both left and up at the same time, take the direction with the largest movement value.Thank you.

Product: Adobe Photoshop Versions affected: 27.5, 27.6, 27.7 (a novější) Last working version: 27.4 (Stable) Platform: Windows 10 22H2 latest, doesnt work also in 11. Hello, After updating Photoshop from version 27.4 to 27.5 or any newer version, my previously working custom Actions stop functioning. In version 27.4 everything works correctly and consistently. As soon as I update to 27.5 or newer, the same Actions fail.Lets say: I have cropped picture to 30cm x 20cm.Now, in 27.6 I want to run my actions, that works when I do rollback to 27.4:After running the action this happens:first step looks okay, now: after few steps it does, it will throw: ,,Command “transfer” is not available now” … This happens with many tools, not just transform. When I do rollback to 27.4, none of this happens. By doing step by step, I´m getting the same error.  I have tried to completly reinstall Photohsop, do clean installation to another computer… everything…I´m giving my actions as an attachement, so you

I have seen similar discussions but none of the answers are of any help to me as of today. Background:I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10All my CC apps are up to date as of (11/1/14)I am also up to date on all other software on my MacMy goal:Copy text from illustratorPaste in Mail, TextEdit, and Notes as live editable textResults:Text pastes as pdf or some type of an image depending on the appWhat it looks like:I'll start from the beginning to avoid some questions later.I open a new document in Illustrator. These are the clipboard settings in my preferences. I have turned them all off for this example, so as to not muddy the waters.I type some text. I did not use a text box in this example. I just clicked on the page with the type tool and typed this line. There are no added attributes. You can see the character settings are the mos

hello-first time posting, be gentle. I'm playing around with good old sourceRectAtTime and while I can get the basics for what I need, I'm wondering if it would be possible to find the width of specific lines of text, between carriage returns? in other words, if I have one text layer that is multiple lines (potentially) but I want to have a shape behind each one that actually corresponds to the width of the specific line it is behind, is that possible? my alternative is of course to utilize multiple text layers but I'd rather be able to automate it so a user can input text with carriage returns and it is all straightforward that way.any help would be great, thanks!

Hello Everyone, I've had this issue for a little while now and I can't see to find the solution doing a Google search. If I have an image in Photoshop that I'm finished with and I need to export it as a .png file, I'm often gettting a transparent border that's visiable on the exported file. If I add that image to a webpage, there's a faint grey line visible around the frame. If I bring that same exported .png back into PS and zoom in, there's a visible frame all around the image that looks to have transparent pixels. Those transparent pixels are not present in the original PS file.  I'm assuming it's a simple fix, I just can't seem to find it. I do drop the pixel size dimensions a little before exporting the .png. As an example, the original PS file might be 1412 W x 1521 H, and I downsize to 928 W x 1000 H for the .png export. Has anyone else had this happen, and is there a solution? I've attached close up screenshots of a white corner area where in the original PS

I can’t figure out how to get the Adobe Raw profiles to show up in LR and mobile. I made them disappear. They are in the files. I’ve tried everything

I want to create an action to hide or unhide the "Control" bar by assigning a shortcut to that action. However, the "Insert menu item" option doesn't work.

EDIT: “The images that disappear, do show up in the ‘generate’ menu archive, just not the active generate screen I am on, so I have to open a new tab to see and download the first images.”I start to generate an image with a text prompt. Firefly creates the image, showing it momentarily, and charges the credits for it. Then it disappears and returns to the empty screen with my text prompt. I have to hit the generate button again, which charges me credits again, and then it produces an image that stays. I am charged twice the amounts of credits for a single image generation.

I’ve always wanted to implement quick alignment of objects to guides. But since InDesign doesn’t allow selecting both an object and a guide at the same time, it seems impossible to achieve.Today I just came up with a new approach: have the object align to the nearest guide. There are too many possible alignment directions, so it’s unnecessary. We only need to align the selected object to the nearest guide to the left or right. This requires two separate scripts: one for left alignment and one for top alignment.Consider only the top and left margins.Take top alignment as an example:You can define what constitutes “nearest” by setting a value yourself. For example, the detection range could be set to ±8mm; objects beyond 8mm will not be affected. If necessary, manually drag them within 8mm.(Including the guide lines on the Masterpage.)You might be able to align it even in complex situations by pressing the button repeatedly.

Went to reinstall PSE 2025 to help a user in a FB forum.   I noted there was not a download link to either PSE 2025 or PSE 2026 in my products listed.   All my other versions of PSE (and there are many) are listed and have download links.  In my products page was just a listing of the items included with pse 2026, and pse 2025, no download links.I have done all the usuals: logging out / back in, turn off antivirus, rebooting,  etc…..I was 99.999999% sure you could download pse 2025 from your products page in your adobe account- Has something changed regarding the downloads of pse 2026 or pse 2025?I had to go here, using this link to download PSE 2025:https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/download-and-install/photoshop-elements-downloads.htmlAm I losing my mind?

i logged on one day to none of my designs being in my home screen as if i had just downloaded photoshop for the first time can anyone explain how to get them back i kept seeing a scratch disk error right before loading in

I do retouch work and am redrawing line art backgrounds and Photoshop has HUGE issues when zooming in and trying to rotate the canvas. I am constantly having to hit the escape key to get the program to release from whatever it is doing when it gets confused as I zoom in and then try to rotate the canvas. Sometimes it will switch to the eyedropper tool when I am trying to zoom back out.I am using the TourBox elite controller while doing this. Plug in is installed correctly. But it could be the controller that is causing the issue. Both programs are updated. It does work better with the Photoshop’s internal rotation - but are there any settings I can tweak to get it to work better with TourBox?It is much much worse since I updated to the 27.6.0 release.Anyone else here have similar issues?
