I set up some presets using Adaptive Colour and some (mainly luminance) masks.Nearly every time I come back to photos I've applied the reset to and look good, no longer look good (eg they become overexposed). Sometimes they seem to come good by themselves (eventually), sometimes they don't. I can't work out what's going on. I'm about to dump Adaptive Colour for presets and try Adobe Colour.  Are there known issues with using Adaptive Colour in presets? The values you assign to the preset one day that look good, the next day look really bad on the same photo. Seems to be an endless loop of adjustments! Are there any rules to follow when using Adaptive Colour?

Roto brush (all versions, v1, v2 and v3) keep crashing after a few strokes in AE 24.0.1. Was working before, well sort of, on some shots it worked without crashing, then it crashed several times (with crash dialog box), not sure it was Roto brush specific, it also crashed on simple tasks like exchanging a layer with other footage (no fx on layer, the most basic scenario) and then after a crash or 10 it started working again, no crashes while doing exactly the same things (roto brush, exchanging layer footage) on the same layers in the same comp. Now it started crashing again using Roto brush on a clean footage layer (no pre-comps, no other fx in the chain), except now it's a spinning beachball hang, no crash dialog box. Doesn't matter which version of Roto Brush I use, they all crash, so again, not sure if it's actually roto brush or just After Effects that wants to crash for a couple of hours, only to at some point seemingly randomly just start working again. Hello Adobe Team, I am an After Effects user and I create professional motion graphics templates for Premiere Pro and After Effects. I would like to upload my motion graphics templates to Adobe Stock, but I can’t find the “Motion Graphics Templates” upload option in my contributor portal. Could you please guide me on how to apply or get access to the Motion Graphics Templates contributor program? Thank you for your help and support. Best regards,[Lapcevic]   [Moved from the After Effects forum by moderator]

hi, there is a PDF file somewhere on the internet. I have to fill it and send it to a company. you can see it here or in the attachement. Bestellformular_Medical_Access_Port-Bundle_Konnektortausch_13.03.2025.pdf at the bottom of page 3 there is a small area where you can add a digital signatur of your digital ID. i don't understand what this means. i have created a new digital ID, saved it as a file (PFX-file).  i have a question. if i have to send a digitally signed document to a recipient, do I have to add the PFX-file to the e-mail attachement? what's the system, how can i understand it?

Hi, im trying to upload my model to mixamo, but this error keeps appearing to me, I tried to join all the elements of the head and all the elements of the body, but this keeps appearing to me.Please if someone could help me, I'm very desperate.

The old software from adobe that is not sold or not serviced anymore, can I use them? and when they ask for activation, the activation is not possible anymore so can I pirate them?

I have been trying to use the Remove tool in Photoshop, but this keeps popping up every time, 'cant use the tool because activation failed'. I've looked everywhere but can't find anything about it. Has anyone ever had this happen before? It even does it to me in Photoshop Beta. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I recently bought a new PC.  I deactivated Photoshop Elements 13 in the old computer and attempted to activate it on the new computer. I'm still getting the endless loop of "Sign In" pop-up.  I contacted support, and nobody was willing to help me. The only thing they wanted me to do is upgrade to Photoshop Elements 2024 - which I don't want. I bought a physical copy of PE13 a few years back and love it and want to continue using it. It's what I'm familiar with and comfortable with. When I explained that, the support agent said the activation servers for PE13 are retired.  If this is how their license works, then why would I ever buy anything from them ever again? If the servers are going to be retired within 10 years preventing me from using something I paid for, why would I continue using that product? This is infuriating. So how am I supposed to activate Photoshop Elements 13?

Recently, LRC started giving me the following error message when I close the app: Lightroom was unable to back up the catalog names "Lightroom 5 Catalog..." Please check your folder permissions, and make sure that you have available space on your backup drive and the main catalog's drive." I've tried several external drives to write the backup to and all fail with the same error. All have plenty of space. LRC was given full disk access in MAC OS. I have even tried to make a new catalog and then import the old one to it. That also fails with a generic error and does not complete. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello all. I posted this on the adobe account on twitter, and I was pointed to this community. I am going to repost it here, I hope to get some solutions.________________________________________________________ hello, so, my problems with Illustrator:I am running AI 29.8.2 64bit on a windows 11 laptop, with 64gb ram. I am trying to make patterns using the pattern tool, and I am running into problems. I will attach screenshots as I explain. This above is the original pattern motif. It has an empty box on the bottom layer, a 5x5 In repeat pattern, see the repeat in the attachment, and the background is a box on the layer above the empty box, same size of the empty box and artboard. The motif is clipped by a clip mask, but the whole motif is repeated under the clip mask. I save it as a pattern using the pattern tool and it's in the swatches drop down menu. I have been using this series of steps on many patterns, I am a pattern designer, and I have been making several patterns this wa

I have made several AE comps, and saved them. When I now will open them I get a message telling that the files are missing. Why??

I have a text field component with several states:default (inactive)hoverfocusinactive fillederror - emptyerror - filleddisabled PROBLEM:I place the component on the artbaord, change the label to "First Name" (for example), and I adjust the size of the input. However, when I change the state from Default to Hover, the input rezies back to the default size, AND the label changes back to the default label. So I have to repeat label and size update. Then, I have to repear over and over for the remaining 5 states. EXPEXTEC RESULT:How do I make it so the component DOES NOT RESISZE AND RESET THE TEXT everytime I change the state? Why don't state changes inherit the size and text that is set on the default state? How do I over come this? DEMO OF PROBLEM:Just found this other topic, which is the same problem, form about a year ago.

Looking at the spacing between the paragraphs below - how can I make them all the same? I'm trying to find out how/where any settings or styles are different between them & am getting nowhere.Help!

I am doing a voice over. My problem is that each time I record a new clip I have to apply my audio effects to it manually (this is tedious). I know I can apply effect to an entire track, but I can't seem to apply my preset to it. The problem is that i don't want to manually replicate my EQ mixing in the new window.

I have selected the photo but I can't edit it I can't see the photo

I asked the model to create a dress using a certain fabric, which i uploaded a reference image of. The model made the background the same colour as the pattern of the fabric. The background should have been plain. In refining the image, when i asked the model to correct the background and make it white, it left it the same as before. When i asked the model to remove the scarf around the model's neck, it left it there. These are big bugs for a service which is supposed to be the best in the industry. Also, am i allowed only ONE reference image? What if i need the generated image to reference 2 or more images? With these limitations, why would i pay for Firefly? I think the complementary generations should allow the (almost) full functionality of Firefly so that you can make an educated decision on whether you want to pay for it.
