I submitted one like this before but could not find it to make a change. Instructions to export a psdt from to a jpg are shown below. "To export a .psdt file as a .jpg from Lightroom Classic, select the PSDT file in the Library, go to File > Export, then in the dialog box, set the File Settings to JPEG format and adjust the quality, and finally click Export. Lightroom will create a new JPEG file based on your edits, leaving the original .psdt file untouched. " Process:  I open a JPG file in LRc and immediately move it to Photoshop.  Change sky, do some removals and cleanup and then save as a psdt file.  In LRc I run a synchronize to load the psdt file and finish making picture updates.  When done, I export the PSDT file to another directory.  The JPG is created correctly but the PSDT is dropped from the ribbon below and the picture is lost in develop mode.  In the library mode I can see the picture in main screen&

I am unable to scan into Adobe Acrobat Version 2020 with this multifunction unit. The error is involving the incorrect colour mode. It's not clear how to set the colour mode on the device either.  It does scan into Apple Preview no problem though. What are some tricks I can look into trying out to get the colour mode to match?

The other day I was looking at an article an I was offered a tool that helped me to understand the article better offering different breakdown of the article, keyword definitions and offered explanations of questions from 3 different perspectives: 1) from an analyst point of view; 2) an entertainer's point of view, 3) an instructor's point of view. What is this tool called and how do I access it again for subsequent articles?

Hi everyone,I’ve recently been using Adobe Acrobat to handle PDF contracts at my workplace. One problem I keep running into is when combining multiple PDFs or compressing large files, the final document either loses image quality or the file size doesn’t reduce much. I tried tweaking the settings, reducing image DPI, and using the “Reduce File Size” tool, but still not satisfied with the results. For people in similar situations, I found that using optimized PDF versions created via online tools helps — it gives a more balanced result between size and quality. On my website, I built a tool that helps calculate end-of-service/gratuity in the UAE by also providing downloadable PDFs — having properly sized and compressed PDF files there makes the experience better. Would love to hear from anyone who’s solved the PDF quality vs. size trade-off well in Acrobat: which settings or workflow you ended up using?

I need to redact many documents for a divorce case and must keep the last four digits of each account number. When I search for the portion to redact, the tool selects the entire number.Example: Number to redact: 987654321I search for 98765, but the result highlights 987654321 instead of just 98765.The “Find Text and Redact” feature would be ideal if it selected only the exact text searched.

I have a Creative Cloud Pro subscription, which includes Acrobat Pro. Has something changed in the last few weeks? Now when I launch Acrobat, it only opens Acrobat Reader. I've tried using the web interface, which is the only place where I can find editing tools but it's a pain as I have to upload my PDF, make edits and then download it again to my computer. When I go to the Creative Cloud apps site or my subscription area, it does not have an option to download Acrobat Pro, only the Acrobat Reader or a mobile app Adobe Scan. I want to work on my files on a desktop computer.

Whenever I download a PDF onto my computer, Adobe Acrobat automatically opens it. The "show downloads once they're done" setting on Chrome is off. Also, Acrobat isn't even my deafult pdf viewer. When I open a PDF manually, it opens on Edge (as it should), so it's not something with Chrome. I attatched a screenshot of my download settings and my deafult PDF settings.

CordialementRobert

Ps 24.2.0MacOS Big Sur I've been using Ps for years and have always used OPT/ALT to quickly switch between BRUSH and EYEDROPPER tool to change the brush color, so when I'm using brush tool I temporarily hold on OPT key and select a different FOREGROUND colour. Now I realize that in doing so eyedropper picks up the BACKGROUND colour and not the foreground, no problem if I need to do this once, since with X key I can switch between foreground and background, but it turns out to be pretty annoying if I need to do multiple changes of colour in a short time.I've looked into the preferences but without finding any solution yet. Any suggestion?

Hello everyone,I'm writing a Photoshop script (ExtendScript/JSX) to automate a color grading workflow. The intended sequence is:Merge all visible layers into a new layer.Create a new "Color Lookup" adjustment layer, loading a specific 3D LUT file.Merge the Color Lookup layer down onto the merged layer. My script fails at step 2, when attempting to create the Color Lookup layer, and returns the following error message:"Error: A general Photoshop error occurred. This functionality may not be available in this version of Photoshop. -Could not complete the command because of a program error. Is there a different, more compatible scripting method to create a Color Lookup layer while simultaneously loading a 3D LUT file?Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can offer!

My situation is, sometimes i'm on the road so I need to upload photos to my laptop and edit. Other times i'm at home and edit on my desktop (much faster). I need the work flow to transfer back and forth so i sync my collections i create to edit on both computers and the history of the edits trasnfer back and forth via sync.  The problem i'm running into is, I've synced 1 collection from laptop to desktop lrC. I have a bout 5 different collections synced under my From Lightroom tab. For some reason, on this new collection i synced, it replace about 25 photos with photos from another already synced collection. It shows the correct photos in the collection on my laptop, but on the desktop it shows a portion of photos from another collection instead.  Attached are screenshots, you can tell which photos go with what. The "orange" photos belong in a totally different collection from a different date. But they replaced the highlighted photos from laptop below and they're n

I have written small test case with few insights about optimizing script speeds and thought it might be interesting. Also, you are welcome to use my code to find optimisations. Hey all,I'm hoping someone can help as I'm absolutely flummoxed by this issue!I'm working on a video that has quite a few nested sequences in it (nested sequences within nested sequences too). This has all worked fine in the production of this video so far but after rendering it, I've noticed that the cross fades between nested sequences just don't work - things are missing in the crossfade and pop up after the fade is finished. My video switches between three different point of view of a game. All three views last the full duration of the video. I've put each screen capture point of view video into a sub sequence so that I can layer some overlay text and a character model directly on each video so that I when choosing shots from the videos, I don't have to have loads of tracks in the main sequence with lots of fades in many layers at once etc. I originally had these nested POV sequences in the same track on the main sequence with a standard cross-fade between each clip. The first two t

Full disclosure, I am already a reluctant user of generative AI, and Firefly is making it easier to want nothing to do with it! I have tried many times to create 5-10 second videos with the start image and end image + text for the clarification and nuance of story etc. I usually just get a supremely vague and frustrating, "Something wen't wrong," which is ridiculous enough! WHAT WENT WRONG? It doesn't help that Adobe thinks we want to be told bad news like this from a bunch of cute cartoon creatures they use in the program in a branding capacity. A cartoon goat informed me this time...that it failed, and that's where the details eneded. "Something" is not an acceptable error message from a company as proven and industry leading as Adobe! Now, if I EVER attempt to put a photo of an adult woman in Firefly, it's a lock it won't work...Adobe seems to have decided that the few creeps, not surprisingly using AI to enhance their creepiness, is a good enough reason to basically not a
