There's got to be a law to protect photographers being forced to buy new computers (usually consting $3,000 or more to edit photos) just because adobe and photoshop forces us to upgrade thier software (that works fine on our sustem), even though it's no longer compatable with the OS that we''re currently running, and our computers does not support the newer (required) OS version.  Give the the days when we bought the software, and used it until it no longer did what we needed it to do.  I used the last version of Photoshop I purchased on CDs for over 5 yeats before I needed to upgrade, because my new compter wouldn't run it.     [Branched by moderator from unrelated post]

Hello, I am very new to Adobe Animate. I was just wondering how I could change the bounding box size on my imported PNG's. I've went through various other posts in this community and still dont fully understand what im doing. First I just want to say I know I can resize the images in my drawing program, but Im trying to animate a character, and resizing and piecing it all back together wouldnt be ideal. Is there any way to just change the size of the bounding box?  Heres the head bounding box size in Ibis paint, its the exact size of the layer: Heres the head bounding box size in Adobe Animate, its the size of the canvas I exported it from: What makes this worse is that every single layer has the exact same bounding box size, making it basically a nightmare if I wanted to animate it. Any help would go a long way.

Hi everyone, I'm stuck on a pagination issue and can't find a solution online. Hoping to get some help or insights here!I want to show the current page number and next page number on the left page only on a spread. I've been able to do this using the phantom threaded text frame method, but when prepping the book to send to print, the printers require that I split spreads that have images spanning across left and right page to single pages in order to extend the bleed on both pages. By doing this page break or splitting the spread, it breaks the pagination and the threaded text frame no longer works.Appreciate anyone's insight here!

I have the latest update, but this comes with a bug. That's the first thing I noticed. Source Monitor In and Out markers not working. You can see below the waveforms the in&out piece, but the source monitor waveforms doesn't have the clear distinction between what's marked and what's not.  I will attach a screenshot.Hope you'll fix it ASAP.Thanks!

I was hanging on to the old version of Adobe Express on my iphone hoping that I would not be forced to migrate to this awful mess but unfortunately now every time I try to work in it I get kicked out. So I have no choice but to migrate to the user-unfriendly version, which I absolutely detest. After browing the community here, I'm obviously not alone in my annoyance and no I can't post screenshots because literally everthing about this thing sucks.  What I want to know is, how can I get the previous, simplified version back? Is it possible? If not, then I will not be renewing my subscription. And I know I'm not alone there... In fact if it's not possible, then I would think Adobe Express should be issuing refunds to their customers. My subscription automatically renewed in December 2024, however, if I had known I would be paying for this train wreck I would not have renewed. This is a totally different app!

I have inherited a document library at my office.  There are tons of docs with highlighted text created by the previous person in charge of this library.  The documents have no security on them and they are not locked.  I'm running into a few problems:In some documents I need to remove just the highlights from the text.  I'm not seeing any way to remove the highlights. When viewing the comments in Acrobat XI Pro, the previous person's highlights are NOT showing in comment list even when I select "show call comments"In some cases I need to delete the highlighted text also.  When I try deleting the highlighted text, the highlighted area still remains on the page (text gone).  So it looks like a yellow rectangle still there where the text used to be.  I cannot seem to find a way to select it.  Even when I reopen the doc, the leftover yellow highlight is still there. The document properties show "PDF version 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)".  I'm using Acrobat

We have a lot of PDF documents flying around, and it's hard to determine who created them when edits are needed. Is there a way to have InDesign and Illustrator automatically include the author in a PDF, when exporting? The only way I know how to include the author's name is to open the PDF document after it's been exported, open Properties, add the name manually and then re-save. This is an extra step that I always forget to do (I just export and send) and it's impossible to have everybody do this. So I'd like to find a way to have this be automatically entered; we're all signed into Adobe, so InDesign and Illustrator should already know our identity.

Is it possible to mark, including comment and stamp, multiple PDF files at the same time (in the same program)? When I grade assignments as a teacher, I can save a significant amount of time if I’m able to go through multiple assignments simultaneously. However, when I place several PDF files side by side, each in its own open "Adobe Acrobat", the stamps and comments are independent for each open PDF. So I have to switch the stamp for each individual PDF?Is there a way to have the three PDF files displayed side by side without them being opened in separate, independent instances of Adobe Acrobat?

I have had a couple clients that I have e-mailed PDF's to say when they are viewing them they have a large number 1 & 2 covering the pages.

Hi, there. I'm in multicam mode. I already did quite a bit aof editing and now I need to do some color correction in ONE of the cameras. Since I'm in multicam mode, I can't "see" the individual cameras on my timeline, only the multicam clip. How do I get to them? I don't want to color correct a clip from the multicam clip and then copy/paste the color correction settings to millions of clips from the same camera. Can I color correct a specific camera and all the clips from this camera on the multicam clip follow the settings? Thanks in advance! Take care.

This month, Adobe Firefly charged me, but I did not receive the 3,000 generative credits that I should have been granted. Where can I report this issue?

Why is Adobe Illustrator (28.0) asking to record my screen and audio? This makes no sense to me.Obviously I declined.

I had to edit a sermon which was hardly edible. Premiere Rush made it soooo easy, i increased the loudness as directed (audio icon) , and lo and behold, the person's message was loud enough to hear well. Thanks, Adobe!Anita GarciaWebmaster Calvary Baptist Church of Larkspur

I thought surely this must be covered somewhere, but after a good bit of searching, I still haven't found what I'm looking for...  I have a 3D comp in After effects using the Advanced 3D renderer. I have a .glb model of a desktop computer. Laid carefully onto it, I have a precomp with the contents of that computer screen.  Is there a way to make it look as if there is light emanating from the computer screen itself, instead of having a light in the scene pointed towards the computer and messing with the materials settings on the precomp to try and get the computer screen to look like it is lit decently?  I was reading a bit about EXR files and HDRI lights, but I feel like it's a bit over my head and I'm not sure if you could use that to position a "light" within a 3D composition or if it sort of wraps all the way around the comp...

when i add the effect Deep Glow, i get the error message D returned invalid from max_result_rect pf_cmd_smart_pre_render.i have searched the internet for a solution and none of them work. disabling other effects, adding color balance (hsl), clearing the disk cache. none of it worked.i only applied the effect to one layer at the start of the project, but it wont let me preview the project at any time stamp.after searching for a solution, i have found that other people are getting this issue, but with other effects. so this must mean that theres no issue with the plugin.

I did it all; downloaded latest beta version, checked all updates, but it stays impossible to use the generative fill in Photoshop. Any ideas?

hi, I installed PS express on my iPad, and edited some pictures. However after saving them an PS express logo is automaticaly added to the picture, which makes the program useless for me. I just noticed that logo after i edited several pictures. Is there a way to remove these logos from my edited pictures, or should I start over again with another program ?

Hello. I built an AR experience in Aero and I am trying to share it with someone. I exported a REAL file and I am able to open it on my desktop with Aero, but they are not. When they try to open the REAL file in Aero the window opens and the name of the file appears at the top, but there is no content. They've let it run overnight in case it was just slow to load and nothing ever appears. The file is 9MB so it must have content. We are both running the same latest version of Aero (v 0.17.2). My only guess is they have a much more serious firewall and network protection than I do. Would that have an effect? Or is there something else I can try? The only solution I can think of is to send them all my assets and have them rebuild the expereince on their machine... which is not a great solution. Do they need all the 3D assets as well as the REAL file for it to open?

Moin, folgendes Problem besteht seit mehreren Wochen:Lightroom V 8.2, Windows 11Bearbeiten -> Maskieren -> neue Maske -> Pinsel.

I have used parent pages since I started using InDesign 4 years ago. I made the latest software update today and am suddenly having this issue:   A-parent is applied to 4 pages (two spreads). A-parent consists of a running header on the top (left and right, centered), and page numbers on the bottom (left and right).   On the first spread, both headers and page numbers appear on the designed page. On the second spread, both page numbers appear, but only the right header appears.   The thumbnail overview clearly shows that the A-parent is applied to all four pages.   I tried substituting a copy of the A-parent to the page that is not showing the header. No difference. I also tried susbstituting the [None] parent. This works, but of course it's not the parent I need there.   I also tried creating an alternate A-parent, moving the header text to the bottom of the page, next to the page number. In this case, both text and page number show up on the designed page. It

I have a background image that I want to take the vector text that is in front of it and mask it. I have done this in the past but now it seems to not be working. I end up with nothing visible inside my letters. Please see screen shots below. Btw I am on a Mac Version Sequoia 15.3.2 and Illustrator 29.4

Latest Camera Raw Crashes PC only when I try to use the masking tool.  Specificlly when it starts to procces what is in the image for a couple seconds and the little arros start to spin.  Then without even an error report, Complete BSOD.  Complete crash.  Otherwise, the rest of Cam Raw works as it's supposed to. THINGS I HAVE TRIED:Updated NVIDIA Driver Udated Windows 11Uninstalled and reinstalled PSD latest version and older versionsTuring off GPU processing on both PSD and Cam Raw settings Nothing works unless I go all the way back to Camera Raw 14.5 Setup:  AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor, 3080 ti NVIDA GPU, 64gb ram, Windows 11 Pro 24H2

Grazie
