Since the last update - to version 26.5, photoshop wont open any of the new files that i save. Ive tried saving them in different locations on the disk, and on different disks, and still wont work.  Also noticed that the text tool will not allow me to create any new text layers.I get the same alert window every time.Working on a macbook pro, updated to the latest version of Sonoma.

I'm in search of a way to get InDesign to keep my original paragraph styling (color, font, justification) once I export my file to an interactive pdf. I know you can change the font and the size, but there is nothing for color or justification. Is there a way to do this in the native program or can it be done in Acrobat? Please help!

Hi! I often lock/unlock layers/objects using ctrl + 2/ctrl + alt + 2 and was wondering if there was anyway to do that with only the objects on the active artboard. I couldn't find anything in my perusing.

Hi Community, I'm desperately hoping someone here can help after spending 2 hours on a chat with Adobe support and getting nowhere. What happened is that I inadvertently deleted an entire folder of ~300 photos from disk through Lightroom CC. I restored the files from my trash can along with their corresponding XMP files. All files are now back in the original location. I re-synched the folder to bring back the deleted files. However, none of my edits have been restored, causing me hours of lost work. My understanding is that my edits would be contained in the XMP sidecar files but I can't seem to figure out how to access it. Any assistance from the community would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have a video in XD, set to play automatically and loop. Every time I test the preview, the video stops at the end of the first play through. I can't find any reason why it won't loop. Any thoughts?

Lately when I scale an object and then try to apply the same scale to another object with CTRL + D it seems to move the object as well.I've double checked in the history channel that it is not registering as a move as well and it isn't.I've also confirmed that both times the anchor points are set to the center. I've tried it with Scale (S) with the anchor point in the middle and still the same problem. I also applied CTRL + D while still in the Scale. From where I'm looking it seems to be applying to the anchor point of the previous object as opposed to the object that is currently selected. I haven't changed any of my preferences between the last time it worked as intended vs when it started doing this. How do I fix this?

Hello, I'm hoping someone might be able to assist me.  I'm in the process of developing a fillable PDF whereby I would like to add a value of '3' to the current year, to reflect when the contract will expire/end.  Currently, I have a field whereby the user enters in the year (e.g. 2025; the field is called 'Year_af_date'), and further down in the document I need to add the expiry/end date.  For the expiry/end date field, I have used Simplified Field Notation with '3' added to the year field ('Year_af_date').  However, upon previewing the PDF, the '3' appears as a default value until the current year (e.g. 2025) is entered.  I have tried everything to eliminate the default value of '3', but to no avail.  This seems like it should be a simple fix.. Would anyone know how to prevent the '3' from appearing? Before the date field is updated:After the date field is updated: (i.e. 2025 +3)I would appreciate any suggestions!  Thanks in advance!

I have a very simple arrow design. I need to use the original graphic and smooth the edges, add a shadow etc but I can't seem to figure out how to  get Firefly to use the existing image AND give me the generative text box to specify the changes.  It just wants to use the original as a reference and create something totally different.  If I upload the arrow itself, I can add or subtract but can't specify the updates I want. Am I missing something?  Any suggestions would be appreciated. ThanksWendy

If I have a bin set up in icon view, everytime I switch to a different workspace and return to the editing workspace, the bin reverts to List view. Previous versions didn't do that. Is there something in preferences  I'm missing.

Hey,   my photo got rejected and I would like to know why so I can improve my photography 🙂Does anyone have an idea?

Can't find it anywhere. And no, the arrow keys are NOT working either. And no, I don't have a mouse with a wheel. How am I supposed to operate this without a scroll bar?And why would they ever remove the scroll bar?

My first post! I am looking to have my text fields each be worth 1 point, so when they fill out the field it adds into my sum.  I cannot see a way to have my text field be fillable but still have a value? thanks for any help

Hi - i know this sounds so basic - but can anyone tell me the best way to create this pattern?! Thank you!

How to make the actual hyperlink visible when creating a link in a PDF document? Not just the visible / invisible rectangle but the link itself. For me, the link itself is always invisible!

I have a document with the Main layer everyone sees and a digital layer which holds interactive items.  It works mostly BUT One of the things is an example in a Q&A format.  on the main layer (used to create the printed book) both the question and answer are visible.  On the digital layer there is a prompt to think about their answer and then click to reveal the answer.  Unfortunatley, even though the  Digital layer is presumably on top of the Main layer, the text on the main layer is showing through the prompt on the digital layer.  Is there a way to make the digital layer 'cover' what is on the main layer on page load so the answer doesn't show until they click the prompt?   It works if I put the answer on its own layer and print one layer or the other. I am trying to avoid the additional 2nd layer.   Thanks! Wendy   <Title renamed by MOD>

I have a trial version of Adobe Plan Lr+Ps with a monthly payment and an annual commitment. I read somewhere that the desktop version of Ps only works 99 days a year without an internet connection. Is this true and is this my case? If so, I would cancel the subscription during the trial period. Thanks  for the answer.

Hi everyone, Imsince a few days from now, when I try to use he text tool, the keyboard doesn't appear, so basically I'm completely unable to write (or even edit previous texts). Before this happened, If I pressed the keyboard button under the text area, an the keyboard appeared. Also if I double tapped the text. Is someone else having  this same problem? How can I fix it!

Is it possible to have Bridge visible on one monitor and the preview window full size on another window?I've seen some workarounds but none fit what I need. Win PC.

Hi,I have a work for one of my clients, which includes creating images to represent all types of psychological and emotional traumas. The problem is I can't use any prompt that includes any resemblance of Emotional wounds or traumas. How should I do my work if I cannot use simple, scientifically accepted terms in psychology like traumas, wounds, or any other word that is filtered as Toxic or negative? Please fix this issue or help me out with any solution to that, because I cannot use FireFly as it's needed. AI image generators should be a tool, not a discriminatory app that does not let me do what my clients need. As a graphic designer, I need a tool that lets me use it how my work and my clients need. If not, I will lose my money paying for it, and in that case, the tool will be worthless for me, so I will no longer pay for it.Thank you.

Hello to all, using Acrobat Pro 2017 (Classic Release), I created a fillable form. In the form I have a column with number fields that have the following field properties according to the screenshots:  As expected, the form contains a 0.However, numbers with commas can still be entered. In the PDF form, these numbers are then rounded, e.g. 1.99 becomes 2 (compare screenshots):  How can I prevent rounding in Acrobat Pro or prevent commas from being entered in the field?I am already very grateful for tips, ideas and possibly code examples!I probably won't be able to get around JavaScript.Regards, Daniel Schunk

Either last week or the week before, I installed an updated Acrobat Reader.  Now I do not know if it happened then or what is going on.  Today I tried to download and document and save it as a PDF to my laptop.  Everytime I tried it downloaded and saved as a Chrome Document.  I early today, I sent an email to the company believing that they were preventing me from saving as a PDF, but as I'm looking at my files, I see every PDF document on my laptop has changed to a Chrome HTML document and I don't know why or how to fix it.  I went into Chrome and reset the Acobat extension as default and it is still saving every document as a Chrome HTML Document and I can only read the PDF online.  It cannot be saved to may computer as normal.  Can anyone help he understand what has happened or how I can fix this, or is this something new and you can no longer save PDF documents directly to your computer and they can only be read online from the site you downloaded

I am having publishing issues with Framemaker  Version: 17.0.5.725.  I have a 400 page structured document originally designed in Framemaker 2019. After upgrading to Framemaker 2024 (Version: 17.0.5.725) the files when view in Framemaker are formatted correct. When the document is published most, but not all of the tasks in the document are not placing images within the text. In many of the tasks the images are simply tagged on to the end of the task, not inbetween the  steps, as the images appear when viewed in Framemaker. What am I missing here?
