I used a free text script and it generates these labels on the layers (I have highlighted in example below) I'm not sure how to remove the lables from the layer, so could someone please help me on how to do that please?

Direct selection tool highlight does not align to the shape placement. The anchor point hovers slightly off the shape. Have restarted and updated to latest version and still have this issue. Issue occurs with every shape selected and even on new created shapes. Snap to grid is off and show edges is on. Sorry for blurry picture. I zoomed in as far as illustrator would let me. Due to this issue, I can't tell where the true placement of the shape is. Please help.

It is taking way too long for pdfs to open and to close.  I have Acrobat 2017.  Anyone suggest a solution?  P.S. I have cleaned out my Temp file and emptied the Recycle bin, did not make a difference.  Thanks

I have several PDFs I'd like to add passwords to but I do not want to combine them in to one file. Is there a way to batch or run a script that would assign a password to all of the file individually in one fell swoop? Thanks!

I managed to display a table with rows and column using the LrDialogs.presentModalDialog.All the values from the orginal table I converted to a flat property table. propertyTable = LrBinding.makePropertyTable(context)  Before adding the new row I display the table. This works fineOfcourse variable "c" contains all groups, rows and columns.  dialogValue = LrDialogs.presentModalDialog( { title = "My table", contents = c, }  Having my original table and a flattened projection of it as property table, below the table rows I added a button. The button calls a function which performs the steps below:Adding a row to my original tableUpdating the property table with these new valuesAdded a row to the contents in variable "c"After these steps I tried to stop and show the dialog again, however that doesn't work. LrDialogs.stopModalWithResult(dialogValue) dialogValue = LrDialogs.presentModalDialog( { title = LOC "$$$/LightroomStatistics/Dialogs/Tra

I am a high school film teacher and when Adobe had the Cloud syncing features, my students were able to share their files into order to seamlessly collaborate on team film projects. I would save proxies of all of the students' video files to my Cloud folder, sahre the foler with the students who were working on the project and it made collaboration so easy.  Adobe has done away with Cloud syncing- and the new file sharing system, Frame.io is NOT available to use for education CC plans.  Essentially, my students have no way to easily share files for their collaborative film projects. They have no fewer than 30 assets between different clips, foley etc. so simply sharing every file makes no sense AND they are often adding to their asset library as they realize they need to reshoot something. Simply zipping the files and sharing the zip is not a viable solution. They need access to an online shared, synced folder (our school network does not have sufficient storage for

I have several folders of  TIFF images.  I need to process them individually, then save them as JPG in the same folder the original TIF was in.I  created an action with provides several of the final steps I need, including the "Save As".  I clicked the "modal" option for the "save as" step, so I can edit the name as need be before saving. My problem is the action "remembers" the directory path in which the action was created (i.e. the first folder).  When I run the action on images I've opened from other folders, it defaults to the first folder.  So I need to navigate to the current folder every time.  This is a pain. How can I just have the action open the save as dialog to the same directory as the currently open image?

I regularly create covers for Print on Demand Amazon books. The way this works is that a template is acquired from Ingramspark (see the attached jpg image) as a pdf document. I have been using Photoshop which works reasonably well. Having opened the pdf, I create a marquee around the coloured part - which is the actual cover template - and then trim away the white surround. But it occurs to me that the process might be more efficient with InDesign. The question therefore is: how do I achieve a cropped template in my ID desktop to start creating new layers with images and text etc? I need to save the completed cover as a png or jpg for Amazon. I am told that I can't crop out part of a page in ID but is that right? Can't understand why that isn't an option. Maybe I have to crop in PHOTOSHOP and then open in ID?Any advice gratefully received.

I just updated my MAC OS and three days later i received a msg saying i have to update my permissions for LRC and give access to my external drives. Is this a scam or hacker, or is it normal? Thanks

I'm trying to Edit a custom Keyword Set.  I have LR Classic 14.2.  I try to edit the nine slots for my custom Keyword set, and appear to accomplish it, but if i switch to another Keyword Set and then return to my Edited Keyword Set, the original nine options are appearing again.

In Preferences, General, the "Auto show the home screen" is unchecked, but I still get that big white screen that I have no use for.  I've even checked "Open in legacy new document interface" but that didn't change anything.  I also don't see the command box for AI changes.  Thanks, I hope

Anyone else struggling with this? I'm going through source media, looking at the transcript...  I click on a word and hit "I". My in point is set. So far, so good.  I click on another word where I would like to set my out point, and my in point disappears.  What I have to do instead, after setting my in point, is click on the source monitor to make it the active panel, then press spacebar to play until I reach the desired out point. This works... but not the way that would be effective utilization of the transcript.  I'm on a 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro M1, Running version 24.6.3 (build 4).

Hi.I'm trying to create a panorama using the latest version of Photoshop - File / Automate / Photomerge. The 'Auto' option gives a skewed result, probably because the images were not quite correctly levelled, but the 'Reposition' option seems to work fine. The Adobe documentation for Reposition isn't clear (to me).Can anybody explain why Reposition works ok when Auto doesn't, and outline any disadvantages in using this option? Thanks in anticipation.

I updated Adobe Acrobat Reader DC today but now I can't send any emails. The share button greys out when I press it and the other ways of sharing aren't available. I repaired the app to no avail.Any advice?

What's the difference between all these icons? There are two takes (H005 and H006). But why are they all different icons? The footage looks the same. And Media Properties also the same. I'm working with RED footage. Also if it makes a difference, this is for a project someone else originally made in FCP. Thank you!

When looking at Lightroom community i see the social network aspect of it, people sharing photos, people remixing, saving presets, upvoting, etc. I want to get involved too and post my best works there. But is there a way to customize what name i would be sharing publicly as? Right now in Lr and LrC, in my library it shows my full name as that's the name on my adobe account, but i don't want that to be the public name i share photos to the Lightroom community. Is there a way to choose your community name before sharing a photo from lightroom?

I’m using Indesign 2022 17.2.1 on Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1. In the past I was able to place (command D) a Word document and/or image from Dropbox into Indesign. Now when I place (command D) a document or image from Dropbox a "import failed" error pops up. I reinstalled the Dropbox app, still doesn't work. I opened the file in Dropbox so it will download on my Mac then tried placing the file in Indesign, that worked. The problem is I work with alot of files from Dropbox and need the "place"(command D) to work.Thank you
