I'm an architect and use Illustrator to do detail and presentation plans that need to be very precise.I upgraded to CS5 from Freehand X, due to the fact the in OS Lion, Freehand doesn't work anymore and unfortunatelly finally died. After more than 20 years using Freehand, I have noticed how hard it is to work with precision guides and snaping in illustrator CS5, instead of drawing precise objects in precise locations, it takes you 3x longer because you cannot snap to guides, the objects you draw are never aligned properly with a big error probability, so you have to double check always, adjust. move, resize and it's a hell!!!Smart Guides don't work most of the time.FORGET THE GRID (not the point in this problem).Example 1: I have 2 guides one vertical and one horizontal that cross eacother, I want to start a rectangle (Tool M) from the intersection to another intersection of another 2 guides, when you place the cursor near the starting intersection it doesn't snap to the guides, neither

Hi - yet another issue with profiles in Adobe! I've got some Adobe Express projects on both of my Personal profile and my Business profile. I'm trying to merge them all to my Business profile, or ideally just trying to access the projects but when I sign out of Adobe Express, everytime I log in it only shows my Personal profile.  I have turned the profile picker 'on' in my account settings, cleared cookies/cache, changed my password, a different browser and still it won't let me access my Business profile! Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello, I am currently using a plugin built on the CEP framework with Premiere Pro versions 22 to 24. As I am testing the environment to update Premiere, I found that the plugin does not run in Premiere Pro 2025. Would the execution error report be stored in the UXPLogs_date.log file located at $HOME/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe Premiere Pro 2025? Additionally, I understand that Photoshop and InDesign have already transitioned from CEP to UXP. I would like to know if Adobe has plans to transition Premiere Pro as well. Since I need to develop accordingly, it would be helpful if you could provide an official roadmap regarding this transition. Thank you.

Hi I am 100% new to Photoshop so will do a course and research to learn lots. But I'm on a deadline for a book so hoping you can help. When you first open Photoshop and you're on the homescreen (screenshot attached), please is there an easy way to rename and delete photos there? Also in the screenshot attached, you will see the message I see when I try to open all but one of the photos I worked on yesterday. It says they have been moved or deleted, which they haven't as I don't know how!

One picture is worth a thousand words. Using LRC 13.5.1 on Mac Mini M1 Sequoia 15.0. This usually happens after LR sits for awhile without being used:

I am working through the lessons in InDesign CC 2017 Classroom in a Book. In Lesson 3, we create a master page with a placeholder for a running header. Then, we replace the text that is on the master page with final document text. The instructions are (on page 78):--------------------------- Replacing placeholder text1 Select the Type tool (T).  Hold down Shift+Ctrl and then click within the placeholder text frame on page 2 that contains "Placeholder Text". Replace the placeholder text with Egrets and Herons .--------------------------I cannot get this to work no matter what I do. When I delete the placeholder text, the text frame is also deleted, and I cannot type in the replacement text. I have tried adding a new text frame, but cannot accomplish this. (The text frame is within another element on the master page, but I am not sure what the element is because the lesson had me place the placeholder element as a part of a much larger element with multiple parts.)When I hold down

I was just starting out learning about post processing my images as I had been a long time enthusiast for decades - remmember Kodak instamatic 104  : ), and then migrated though film and a few digital cameras. I had Elements 8 or something around that time and later bought Premeire 10 and Elements 10.  I also bought an Elements 13. Then I got sick for several years.  Now I am better, retired, and back into photography.  I want to get a taste of post processing with some simple adjustments - seems I am always wanting to lighten up dark areas mostly and perhaps sharpen, but not  whole lote more for now.  I would like to install these two older Adobe programs and experiment a little. In looking at the program materials I don't think they were ever installed and I have the disks and serial numbers. I am several computers later now so I cannot check. The Box just looks very new.  (I think serial numbers are the activations codes back then.) &nbsp

We have officially passed the point where Adobe no longer cares about photographers. The addition of two key features in ACR but not in lightroom shows Adobe's disdain for anyone just trying to quickly edit a photo. ACR is basically lightroom inside of photoshop and features being dropped there first is super disrespectful.I don't need a bloated app with a million tools to edit my photos, I just need a relatively lightweight app like lightroom. ACR and lightroom should have feature parity if you aren't going to launch in lightroom first.

Using the latest version 14.2 of Lightroom, it keeps shutting down on its own.  I use Windows 10 Pro and Nvidea GeForce GTX 645, 32mg of ram on a i7-4770 CPU 340 GHZ.  When I have the graphics processor set to Auto the crashes begin.  When I turn it off as some suggest, I'm now getting notifications that my PC is not up to date.  This problem has occurred with earlier versions of  LR and turning off the graphics processor helps but has always resulted in a slower running app.  The difference now are the warnings from Adobe about the outdated PC to run LR.  I'm at a loss.  Does Adobe support,  anybody,  have any ideas for a remedy?

Hi everyone,I’m using a Contour Multimedia Controller mapped to the Adobe Premiere Pro timeline, with a jog for scrubbing back and forth. The problem is that if I click on another panel (e.g., to edit a mask or adjust an effect), the jog stops working because Premiere loses focus on the timeline. To make it work again, I have to manually click back on the timeline, which disrupts my workflow. Is there a way to keep the jog functional regardless of where I click inside Premiere? Maybe a setting in the controller software or a workaround using third-party tools? Thanks in advance for any help! 😊

O problema ocorre ao tentar importar um arquivo do Cinema4D e ao tentar criar um pelo After Effects, o complemento do Cinema4D ja está instalado no After Effects, mas eu não consigo Instalar o App da Maxon.
