I would like to understand why the new Generative AI options for inDesign that cost credits, were on by default?Briefly, I have ended up with an annual medical report full of hundreds of unwanted, incorrect alt texts that I have had to remove. To add insult to injury, these unrequested alt texts cost credits! There is no simple way to strip these out (tip: please add this feature) I have had to resort to a python script to clean this document This could have been avoided if my inDesign update had offered me this feature via an opt-in dialog.

Simply running Ai Denoise introduces artifacts into the files periodically - doesn’t happen all the time and not in all files.  The artifacts go away when Ai Denoise unselected.  Sometimes if I shut down LRc and restart (and sometimes reboot laptop) the artifacts do not appear in the same file when Ai Denoise selected.  See artifacts in upper middle and right of frame.

For the past month or two, any time I try to Place a file or update a Placed file, InDesign usually freezes. The cursor turns into the spinning circle. I can close and save the files after this, but cannot close the InDesign app. I try various ways to place the files. File > Place or Ctrl D or copy and paste the placed file from another InDesign file. The files I use are typically on my Google Drive and I’ve installed the Drive app on my machine. This is REALLY getting annoying. Adobe used to be so good with bugs. Any ideas? I’ve read a few posts that say they thought version 21.3 fixed this issue but I’ve still got it.I’ve reset preferences, cleared old versions of InDesign, reinstalled InDesign. InDesign 21.3Core i9 processorWindows 11 home64 GB RAM500+ GB hard drive space Thanks in advance for any tips.

This is getting ridiculous. It has gotten worse with every update. From version 30.1 it has constantly corrupted the save preview with any placed images. Even placing photoshop files does not work. The placed image will either be completely out of place or just will not show up in the preview unless you embed the image. Place the .AI file in Indesign? Nope, the image isn't there. You have to manually embed it every time which, besides being an annoying extra step, it just bloats the file size. I am also getting “there is not enough memory” errors when placing small photoshop files. I have reset the Illustrator preferences and that did not help. Please stop adding all kinds of useless features and get this program stabilized and reliable again.

I attempted to cancel my subscription recently, but I was unable to locate the option to do so. I have just noticed that the annual subscription fee has been charged to my account.Could you please process the cancellation of my subscription and arrange a full refund for this charge?Thank you for your assistance.

I have chosen some text.First run: I want to restore the line spacing of the selected text to the "original paragraph style" line spacing of the first paragraph.Second run: Take the line spacing of the first paragraph of text, add a dot, and then apply it to the selected text. After the third time, repeat the second operation. It's a bit contradictory, these are two separate actions. We need to ensure that the line spacing is restored to its original state while also increasing it on top of it.var d = app.activeDocument;var item = app.selection[0];//-----------------------A-------------------//Apply the first leading to the selected textvar OriginalStyleLeading = item.paragraph[0].appliedParagraphStyle.leading;app.selection[0].text[0].leading = OriginalStyleLeading;//-----------------------B-------------------//Adjust line spacing 　When operating continuously, only repeat this stepvar firstParLeading = item.paragraph[0].appliedParagraphStyle.leading;app.selection[0].text[0].leading = fir

When I import certain PDFs in illustrator i get a cant't find text error and all the text displays like the picture below. i have tried adding the fonts to illustrator but that did not work

I am currently trying to submit the final assignment for the Data Storytelling micro credential as it is a required grade for one of my courses at my university; however, for some reason the upload has failed every single time and it states the document must be a PDF, under 1 MB, and have a title below 255 characters. I have tried multiple times in different browsers, shortened the name well below even 100 characters, and checked that my file is only 375 KB (it’s a direct PDF from Adobe where I pasted my share link anyway): yet I have still no successful submission. Is there some issue on Adobe’s end or is something else wrong that I may be missing? Thanks,DK

Title: Lightroom Classic 15.6 – Photoshop 27.11 interoperability warning when editing any photoSince updating Photoshop to version 27.11, Lightroom Classic 15.6 displays the following warning whenever I try to edit a photo in Photoshop:“Lightroom Classic has detected interoperability issues with Adobe Photoshop 2026, limiting advanced functionalities. Reinstalling Adobe Photoshop 2026 is recommended.”This happens with every photo I have tested, including recent and older images, both RAW files with and without AI Denoise applied. My Camera Raw version is 18.7. I have tried quitting and restarting both applications and launching Photoshop directly before reopening Lightroom Classic, but the issue persists. This problem appeared after the recent Photoshop update. Could Adobe please investigate and clarify whether this is a known compatibility issue with these versions?

Hello everyone  I own a few licences of PS Elements 2018, 2019, 2020 I activated these licences on many computers along time, but those computers are gone now and I can't access them  In the past, I could see in my account in the "activated devices" menu a list of all computers using the licence and I could dissconect them  Now, it is empty and I cannot deactivate them nor access those computers  I got a now computer in which, obviously, I cannot activate my PS Elelements 2018 anymore  How do I go around this? Is there any solution? Support is telling me that my software is too old and there is no support 😞 nor they can access information about these licences (oh....Adobe, very nice 😞   thank you

Windows 11 machines, the C:\Windows\Installer folder gets dozens of 1gb .msi files every month? They keep downloading to the folder and never disappear. Some machines have filled up over 300gb of these files hitting that folder.  Any idea what might cause it? It's not a folder we can just willy nilly delete stuff from...any ideas?

Apparently my text prompt is too long. How long can a video text prompt be in Firefly?

I am trying to close multiple small paths into one large closed path. Ultimately, I need to save as an SVG so I can import in to a CNC router. The original files are gears for a wooden clock that started out as DXF files. There are hundreds of small paths on the gear teeth that I can join manually, but there must be a better way. A Select All > Path  > Join does not work. The only thing that does seems to work is manually selecting the endpoints in each gear tooth and joining the paths this way. Do-able, but very slow as I have many gears to work on.Is there a trick I am missing or a better way to do this? I am relatively new to Ai.Attached is an example where I manually joined all the paths to obtain the hi-lighted path eight teeth in length. I have confirmed my CNC will read this joined path just fine. All the rest of the gear is made up of hundreds of smaller paths, all non-joined. There is no option of asking the DXF file author to save the file differently. All suggestions wel

Hello all. I had to replace my old GPU (GTX 1660 Super) after it died. I’ve never experienced any problems using LrC with it on my pc with a Ryzen 5 5600 X processor 16Gb RAM.  But since I replaced it with an RTX 5060 I’ve had nothing but problems: initially any action (opening masks, moving sliders) would take forever to respond and were very stuttery) I’ve since updated the GPU drivers and things have improved somewhat. But I’m still having issues. It still takes a few seconds to open masks and use sliders, but once they start they operate smoothly. But it’s particularly slow at responding to the \ “before and after” action, it takes about 10 seconds to switch between the two. I’m just trying to find the location of the bio-pharma settings page, which allows admins to configure Acrobat Sign to meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, and I can’t seem to locate it. In this article, it states that “ The Adobe Acrobat Sign Bio-Pharma settings page is available to the enterprise and business levels of service”, so I’m just trying to find out if a Adobe Acrobat Pro Teams plan falls under business levels of service:Configure bio-pharma settings | Adobe Acrobat Sign However, in this page, at the beginning of the video, there is a title in the bottom right corner of the video, that states that accessing the bio-pharma settings can only be used by an Enterprise plan, but it doesn’t specify Creative Cloud: Using Bio-Pharma Settings | Adobe Acrobat Sign Overall, I'm worried the bio-pharma settings page only applies to the Adobe Enterprise Creative Cloud, and there’s no option for accessing it with any Adobe Acrobat Pro plan.  If anyone has any insight on this topic that w

I've experienced this twice now, both times in the last month. I design beer labels and I'll often open an older label and use it as the template for a new one. When I open the older file (an .AI file), it will load, and most of the live text will have switched to a different font arbitrarily. Some fonts switch to OTHER typefaces that exist in the same document, others switch to different weights of the same font, and still others switch to defaults like times and myriad.  Some of the switched fonts are stored locally, and others are served via Adobe Fonts. The file does this consistently even after I've restarted illustrator and restarted my computer.    I've attached a screenshot of one of the files with its original fonts (from an outlined version for print), as well as a shot with the changed fonts.   Has anyone else experienced this?   System: 2022 Mac Studio M1 Max MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 Illustrator v 29.5.1

CC launcher stuck on loading screen My CC launcher has been stuck on the loading screen every time I try to open the app. This has been going on for days. However, my other installed Adobe apps, like Photoshop, seemed to be working before I uninstalled them. Still, I couldn't uninstall the launcher without uninstalling the other Adobe apps on my PC, so I uninstalled all the Adobe apps first, then the launcher. When I reinstalled the launcher, the problem was the same. It's stuck on the loading screen, but I can't reinstall the apps because it redirects to the launcher, which is stuck loading. Now I don't have a working launcher, and I don't have my Adobe apps either. Please, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, leave a comment below. I use Adobe every day for work.Thank you for any advice! 💔

After correcting a page number in the Hyperlinks panel (Edit Hyperlink), then applying the style to something other than [regular font underlined blue link style], the page number reverts to the previous page that text linked to in the Table of Contents.I’ve now deleted all the hyperlinks and will try replacing them with a new link for each page number.

A week ago, Illustrator has started showing this message. The file was created on my account and using the same account ever since. What is going on?

Whenever I install new fonts from Adobe's font website, the fonts do not appear in the drop-down menu on InDesign. I have restarted my computer, forced sync, and ensured that InDesign is up to date. I have also installed all these fonts directly onto my computer through the Creative Cloud, and they still do not show up.  This has been a problem four times now as I need to install new fonts for typesetting and book cover design regularly. Eventually, they do show up after hours, but that is not conducive to my work as these things need to be finished quickly. Is this a bug? Or this is an issue that I could somehow fix on my end? Thank you.   <Title renamed by MOD>
