Every time I open a new document/artboard (File > New), I have this huge red outline around my artboard.  Then, when I save things, it is saving it as the red box is my artboard edges, so everything I save ends up very small.  What is this and how do I get rid of it/keep it from populating when starting new?

I have been using Lightroom 5 for some time and just recently my photos are importing out of chronological order. It will import photos from all over the card. They appear in chronological order but they are numbered according to which one was imported first. I can see them in chronological order on my computer but when I hit import through Lightroom the photos are imported and numbered in a non chronological order. This only started happening recently so I think it has to do with a recent update. I've tried formatting my card, using another card, and importing to another catalog, but nothing has changed yet.

Is there a way to permanently disable Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer? For reasons beyond my control I am not allowed to use cloud storage. The Collab Sync process holds files open, meaning I often cannot regenerate a PDF file if I've viewed the previous version of this file in Acrobat. I can get around this by using task manager to shut down the Collab Sync process, but it's a pain to keep doing this.I found a different solution which was to locate and delete the AdobeCollabSync.exe file - which works for a while. But Creative Cloud is constatnly pushing updates which include reinstalling this file. I'm looking for a permanent solution to eliminate this process.

I'm trying to split pdfs into separate pages using the supposedly "free" adobe acrobat pdf splitter tool. I was able to do it with one file, which required me to log in. I used to have an Adobe subscription but no longer do because it was a waste of a LOT of money & I never really learned much with the different programs. Every help thing or search engine thing I find claims the splitter tool is free for use in a browser. But after I did the first one, every time I try to do the next one it tries to make me sign up for a subscription & doesn't let me get to the actual tool to split the document. Adobe is simply not worth the money for me as I am not really a designer & as far as I know they started doing a lot of unethical things that screw over their customers/creatives. Just trying to use the free version of Canva for the moment. What am I missing? Adobe's own help articles claim that the splitter is free to use. I'll look into finding another free splitter but this is dr

When I hover my pointer on top of a page this annoying box pops up and show me the ‘summary’ of the page, how do I get rid of it?I have already turned off the ‘Generative AI’ preference, and it was no use.

It appears that the AI Assistant is not reliably aware of Adobe Acrobat’s own interface or version-specific behavior. When I ask basic, practical questions about Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) version 26.001.21563 on Windows—such as how to color fill in a text box or how to view the same PDF side-by-side for same document review— the AI Assistant becomes unresponsive or appears to load indefinitely when I ask these types of interface-level questions.Could someone clarify the intended limitations of the AI Assistant within Acrobat? Specifically:Is it designed only for document summarization and content analysis, rather than UI or workflow support? Does it have access to real-time knowledge of Acrobat’s current interface and version changes? Are there known limitations or bugs when asking for procedural UI help (e.g., form filling, split view, tool navigation)?I’m trying to understand whether this behavior is expected, or if I’m encountering a malfunction or misuse of the feature.

Bonjour, j'ai une question par rapport à Adobe Firefly en France. Est-ce qu'on peut utiliser des contenus générés par Gemini depuis Adobe Firefly pour l'utiliser dans des communications commerciales ?

This issue has been-posted before, but a solution has not been found….Whenever I open PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro X, it stops working while a dialog comes up that says "preparing document for reading".Most of the files I open are a combination of engineering drawings and text.  This dialog freezes Acrobat for several minutes until it is finished. It does this with most documents, but not all.  It also does this when I use the "Combine supported files" feature in Explorer, and when I print documents to the Adobe PDF printer.  Once I create and save a document, it does not come up, however, I have noticed that documents that are new to me, or created new, seem to have this problem. What is this? Why is it set to come on by default?  And, most importantly, how do I turn it off or disable it?Is it possible to go into the setup for Adobe Acrobat pro x and uninstall this "feature"?  It is entirely useless to me, and very unwanted.-------------- I have tried the

When I export a file to jpg with imaging sizing such as 1920 x 1440 px and select include all metadata selected, the resulting file seems not to include some of the brand’s proprietary metadata.  I only look at a couple of things, so I don’t know if it is all or just some items. When I export the original, the metadata is available. When I resize in Apple’s Preview, the resulting file also is missing the proprietary metadata.Classic Lightroom  v 15.3.1IOS Tahoe 26.5.1 (released last week)Pentax K3-iiiWill all proprietary data be available in future releases?

Hello everyone,My Adobe Stock Contributor account was recently deactivated due to alleged violations of the Generative AI submission requirements.I had over 900 vector files in my portfolio (both AI-generated and manually created vectors). While some files had previously received rejections for similar content, quality issues, and occasional intellectual property concerns, I never received any account warning before the deactivation. My account had approximately $197 in earned royalties at the time of deactivation. I have already submitted an appeal and requested both an account review and clarification regarding my earned balance.Has anyone experienced a similar situation? If so, were you able to get your account reinstated or receive your outstanding royalties?Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

From my registered products under my account, I'm trying to download the English version of the Adobe Master Collection (English). For that you need to download a “.7z” file and assosiated “.exe” file.On my page, for alle languages both match, except for English. That should give a “MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7z” and “MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.exe”, but instead the .exe is for another language pack (MasterCollection_CS6_LS4.exe)ANy idea where I can get the correct .exe file ?

I have just downloaded and installed the Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop Elements 26 but how do I know it is working? Or is it already included in the app? There doesn't seem to be a reference to it in Elements so I had a look in my apps folder but cannot see it. Basically I just need to validate it's there and working ok. I am on Mac OS.

For a long time, I could edit a photo with Photo Shop Elements 14 and save it as jpg, bmp, tiff, … and deal it on my smartphone. But now a photo edited with an Adobe program can’t anymore be opened with another Adobe program (FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader)  Kind regardsRonny Vandenbussche79 years old an not so happy with such decissions!

Hello, after the last post with at last count about 46k views, this is a major issue with a thread that is now missing? Some have said it has resolved but I haven’t been able to get it resolved because Windows Update KB5078127 isn’t available for me after checking for updates (in AUS running 25H2).The problem is that for files saved on OneDrive, InDesign crashes upon open or when trying to save. What another helpful user has said:Discovered a workaround on this, thanks to the help of our support company Air IT Group. On opening the file, make a change in the document (e.g add a cyan square to pasteboard), rather than 'save', click 'save as' and save as over the existing file name > then close the file > reopen the file again and 'save' function should now work without falling over, erroring or crashing out. Each time you open it for the first time, you'll need to do the 'save as' each time over existing file name for it to work. It's a frustrating workaround but at least you'll be

Hello, is anyone able to use InDesign now ?  I am experiencing a severe issue with InDesign where files are reported as corrupted, and I am unable to save them under any circumstances. When opening an older file, InDesign initially reported that some image links were missing. I relinked and updated all the images. After updating the images,  the file suddenly started showing as corrupted. Attempts to repair the file failed, and I could not save the file. To troubleshoot, I tried creating a completely new document. Even in a brand new file, as soon as I add a colour block to the parent page, InDesign immediately reports that the file is corrupted and will not allow saving (while it's a brand new file ?!) I have tried multiple versions of InDesign, including 2025 and 2026/21.1, and also reinstalled the software and reset preferences, disabled GPU preferences, but the issue persists.  Every time I attempt to add a certain colour block, the file becomes unsavable. I tried t

Cordialement

In Adobe Premiere Pro, you can easily add free sound effects through the Essential Sound panel, including built-in integration with Adobe Stock. Some colleagues prefer to complete animation projects entirely within After Effects. However, I haven’t been able to find a comparable panel or workflow in After Effects. As far as I can tell, sound effects need to be searched for and imported manually.I’m wondering if I might be overlooking a feature, plugin, or recommended workflow that offers similar functionality in After Effects.

Walter

When I circle item in Photoshop and click Generative Fill--I get a message-"this feature is currently not available." I can use the Remove feature of that task bar, but not Generative. I have updated, but this has been going on for a couple days.
