When I Draw a rectangle or text callout from the commenting toolbar, it seems to me that the tool used to revert back to the Select tool so I could move or manipulate the rectangle or text box. My muscle memory seems to think so, at least! Now it stays on whatever shape I drew, so I just keep drawing boxes on top of boxes while I'm clicking around trying to move the shape I just drew or to enter text. Is there a way to change this so it defaults back to the old way? I can't imagine why I would want to just draw endless rectangles, and it's time consuming switching back and forth between tools when I'm annotating a large piece on a deadline. It's a minor inconvenience, but I find it pretty annoying.

Hello everyone,to match whether swatch contains a spot color. I'm getting the following error. This error doesn't happen often, it only occurs occasionally. Could it be because I'm processing too many files, or the file processing is too fast? How can I avoid this? thankserror: an Illustrator error occurred: 1346458189 ('MRAP')var bordColor = ['color1', 'color2', 'color3', 'color4']; checkFrameSpotColor(bordColor);function checkFrameSpotColor(bordColor) {    var foundBorderColor = false;    var swatchList = doc.swatches;    if (!swatchList || swatchList.length <= 0) {        throw new Error("Unable to obtain color swatches");    }        var currentSwatch;    var currentSwatchName;    var isTargetName;    for (var i = swatchList.length - 1; i >= 0; i--) {        $.sleep(200);        try {            currentSwatch = swatchList[i];            currentSwatchName = currentSwatch.name; // The error point is usually here.            isTargetName = false;            for (var j = 0; j &lt

Using Acrobat 2020 Pro I'd like to be able to rotate a batch of pdf/a files counterclockwise 90°. I tried a couple of PreFlight options both the standard menu options and the print production extensive menus. Honestly there are so many options I don't really know how to configure it correctly. It seems daunting for such an easy task. The standard menu preflight did not work it seemed to skip the rotation for all the files during the action wizard.

Leading between paragraph styles is not consistent. The larger (incorrect) space only happened around 5 times in 100+ page doc. No rogue formatting on styles. Seems to fix itself when i create a orphan.

Hello everyone, I've upgrade to Indesign CC 2018 (13.1.0.76) from CC 2017 and now everytime I want to save a document (new or existing)  the same error message appears."Cannot save the document. It may be opened by other aplications. Close applications and try again. You may also use Save As to save it into a new document."   The Save As option works fine, but for my worklow this is unacceptable. When I work localy, the problem doesn't present itself only when I want to work from a company server. I have permission to read and write on the server. I have no idea what the problem is.   Before updating everything worked fine in the 2017 version.   I know there already exist a topic about the same issue, but it was never solved and its already a few years old. So i thought I open up a new one.   Does anyone have a solution??<Title renamed by MOD>

How is the Opacity effect in Painter consistent with that of Stager? The transparency adjustment in Painter is quite different from that in Stager.

Hello,I need some help trouble shooting a script. I am trying to flip the justification for all of a selected set of text frames. However, while most types of flipping work properly, the following does notif(sel.story.textRange.justification == Justification.RIGHT){         sel.story.textRange.justification = Justification.LEFT;}I would expect the justification for items that are Justification.RIGHT to switch to Justification.LEFT, but they remain as Justification.RIGHTIt does not fail, it just does not work as expected. What is odd is that it seems to work correctly for the three other types of justification I am flipping in the same script. See below for the full script.Any ideas what is causing this?try{          // Check current document for textFrames.          if ( app.documents.length < 1 ) {          &nb

A few years ago I remember dropping an audio onto a puppet on my iphone, using an app? or maybe a link on adobe website? and it would lip sync to the basic puppet. Anyone remember how to access this or if it's even available? Sorry for the cryptic memory of this experience.

Hello,I’m having an activation/licensing issue with Adobe Photoshop CS6 on Windows.Summary On 02-Feb-2026, Photoshop CS6 suddenly displayed a message that a trial period had started, although I have had an active perpetual CS6 license since 19-Oct-2023. That CS6 perpetual license was provided by Adobe Support as compensation after the deactivation/end of my CS5 perpetual license. Now, when I try to reinstall/activate CS6, the installer rejects my serial number with: “The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact customer support.” Environment OS: Windows (original case title was WIN10) Product: Adobe Photoshop CS6 Adobe Support reference / previous case: ADB-31458831-G2H9 (status shown as “Resolved” in my account) What I already tried Uninstalled Photoshop CS6 Downloaded the installer again from my Adobe/customer account panel Restarted the computer Tried to reinstall CS6 — blocked because the serial is rejected as “invalid

When I create a new document or open a document I already have, I can't interact with anything in Illustrator at all. Not the tools, the items on the page, nothing. When I am in the home menu, Illustrator works and I can do things like select create new doc or go into the preferences. I just can't do anything when a new or previous doc opens. Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro have been working fine and Illustrator was fine not a week ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator. I tried new and old versions of it. I checked for updates and there were none. I restarted my PC. I don't know what to do. I'm stressed because I have important files in Illustrator for my job. I'm stumped on what to try next. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, what the difference between AEP and FLA in adobe after effects and adobe animate I don’t know what’s the difference Thanks Kevin

Has anyone tried Mac OS 26 RC? Are Lightroom, Photoshop, and the Creative Cloud app now compatible with Mac OS 26? I've never updated a Mac major version since I switched to MAC, so I don't know if it's worth waiting for it to work reliably and stably, or if I can just go straight to the new system on September 15th. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi all, I’m hoping there are some whizzes on here that can provide a smarter way to achieve the outcome I am looking for. I am developing sock designs, and as such, any design that overflows over the left of the rectangular shape needs to connect with the right edge design - to ensure it is a seamless and continuous image. I am trying to do this for a text fill, where the text may change for future designs (i.e. different word and number of letters). Currently the process I use is to use the type tool line by line, creating the outline and then ensuring the left overflow letter is centred over the edge at a similar position to the right edge - to ensure it matches up when applied to the 360 sock design. Then I apply a clipping mask. I have previously just created a grid with a text fill per block - the issue is when the word changes, so I would need to create a template for each variation of different word lengths. Any help or smart suggestions on how to automate or improve this proces

There are 2 ways to generate a vcard/QR code in Indesign, 1. Method 1 Type: Business Card 2. Method 2 Type: Plain Text with code: BEGIN:VCARDVERSION:3.0FN:First LastN:Last;First;END:VCARD   Here's what I have observed: Androids can read Method 1 QR code without issue Most Androids cannot read Method 2 QR code If text code from Indesign's Method 2 is used in other QR code utility, then Androids can read QR code. It seems as though something is happening in the QR code generation process. You can use Method 2 in a data merge workflow, and is the reason that I would like to continue using this method. I have tried various versions of Indesign. I have tried versions 2.1, 3.0, 4.0 of vcard.   Is there anything else to try in using Method 2 and have QR code read by Android?

I'm hoping someone can help me.   I am a casual user of Photoshop Elements.  I have PS Elements 2024 and it is set to automatically update. I am having a problem with the polygonal lasso tool.  The issue I am having is the tool behaves strangely. Sometimes I am unable to set an intial anchor point.  I select the tool, drag the icon onto my image and then select the point where I want to set my anchor.  I click ... nothing happens.  If I select some random spot on the image I can then set the initial anchor point.  How can I set up PSE to use the polygonal lasso in the manner that I am expecting? Another issue is that if I am successful seting the anchor point I then drag the mouse and the line showing my selection appears fine.  I then select the second anchor point and so on.  Many time though, PS automatically connects with my initial point because it decided I was done with my selection.  Of course, I disagre
