Solved

All, I have an app that's been working _mostly_ flawlessly for over five years.  It's a rates lookup table that uses Excel sheets as a read-only database.  There are two years of rates per line of business (ie, Air Passenger rates for FY2025 and FY2026). A user selects a fiscal year from a dropdown, and five buttons appear for the user to select from.  A selection is made and a custom form for that FY and line of business appears.  Selections are made, and when all selections are set, AJaX sends a special code to a cffunction that consumes the related Excel file, then does a QoQ of that query to find a specific rate, based upon the code submitted, and returns the rate which is then displayed on the page for the user to see. FY2026 rates need to be in place no later than 30 SEP.  But I have an issue that I can't explain. There is one (so far, could be more) billing rate that exists in the related Excel file that the QoQ in the cffunction cann

Has anyone had any luck with deleting the preset templates provided by Adobe?  This is causing confusion with users having access to these templates and would like these hidden/removed.  A support ticket did not resolve the issue.

I am a volunteer retoucher for a non profit organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. 90% of my work is done in PS on my desktop witha Wacom tablet. I bought an iPad M4 as asmaller option to bring on vacation. While I love the Apple Pencil option, I am finding the iOS version of PS is severely lacking in some of the features I need. I was considering a Microsoft Surface Pro 11. Does anyone have experience with using that with PS? Will it run the full version of PS? If you use it, what specs would you recommend? Any reason not to switch from iPad to Surface Pro?

Hi everyone, I'm working on a timeline in Premiere Pro, and I want to rotoscope a clip. Right-click, Replace with After Effects composition. Once in AE, I've got the section of the clip, but when I double-click to use the roto brush, the AE timeline changes, and instead of the section of the clip from Premiere Pro, I have the whole clip on it. How can I rotoscope just the section of the chosen clip in Premiere Pro? Thanks for your help!

Hello! I need to make an illustration based of an output made by AI, that came out of brainstorming in my company. It includes a spiral that is made out of binary code. It is also kinda shining and flowing around a superhero. I need help as to.. How to create this kind of element in Adobe illustrator. This element (some sort of stream of code or data will be present even in other pics of the series... I know how to draw some simple illustrations, and work with basics like gradients etc or putting objects on a path.. But with this I´m lost 😞 Big thanks for any advice!! Note: We are making it in Illustrator since we need it in a very big scale later.

I created the image of a book with a viking face on it (first image). I prompted inside the image to video generator "The cover opens to a page in the middle of the book. The page is very ancient and appears weathered and discolored, the page inside the book that we wee is filled with text in the style of viking runes."I am using the image as the first frame of the video generation.     I have tried no less than 8 times and burned through 800 credits in this experiment and no matter how I prompt the book to simply open it always opens like a trifold birthday card. The only good thing is taht it ultimatly ends up looking like I want.Yes, I did try to use the end frame as the last frame of the video but it still opens the book as though it is a trifolded birthday card and not a book with just two covers.  Honestly, it seems like opening a book should be a simple enough promt. What can I possibly be missing?  any help would be appreciated

Hi,I was previously given some advice on how to prevent redactions from causing white gaps/boxes appear over a watermark like in the image attached. However, I am still encountering this issue so was wondering if more detail/options could be provided. For instance, I have tried making the fill colour transparent and applying the watermark after redaction, but the same issue occurs. Thanks.

Hello guys,I can't find a solution to my problem.... And I know it has been asked many times.I am using CC2018 up to date, on a PC built by me:- Windows 10 pro x64- CPU: AMD Ryzen Theardripper 1950x 16- 32gb de RAM- GPU: Nvidia GTX 780TiI am trying to export a pretty big project in VR (H264 / VBR2 / 100Mbp/s) with many effects that need GPU acceleration and my premiere won't let me chose between CUDA and Software only as the menu is greyed on "software only". In the project settings, I can chose what rendering type I want but for the encoding I can't so I am getting failure during the export because of the GPU acceleration unavailable...I tried with some lighter settings such as VBR 1 or 45Mbp/s but I still get failure... I managed to export the video in 2 parts and then by exporting the 2 parts as one video (because the effects are now part of the footages) but it is a big waste of time.I don't have a Integrated Graphic Processor in my machin. My Nvidia Driver is the last one, I even

Once I label a folder(Bin) how can I make those label visible in the icon view?

We have a backup laptop with four user profiles: three assigned to colleagues and one that we use for presentations. The latter is an “open” profile, accessible to clients of our business center. The three colleague profiles each have a paid Acrobat subscription. On the fourth (“open”) user profile, we also want to be able to view PDF documents (e.g., presentations provided as PDFs instead of PowerPoint). However, we do not want to use a paid Acrobat account for this. The reason is obvious: it would give any random user of the open user profile access to personal documents.Acrobat Reader would do the trick here. However, it seems that if Acrobat is installed, Acrobat Reader cannot be installed alongside it.Is that correct? And if so, are there any possible workarounds?

Just recently, my adobe student plan licensed got revoked by my previous schools administrator from the adobe student plan. But I found out the credit card I was using is still being charged 37 dollars. When I sign in, there's no way I can a plan cause there was no plan available.

We have Adobe for Teams, and I can't find the Global Settings page, to permanently disable the signature audit report page from automatically being added to the end of the document each time we get a digital signature. Help is appreciated.

Whenever I switch between multiple pages, the zoom level automatically resets to 20%, and I have to manually adjust it back to 100%; however, as soon as I move to another page and return, it reverts to 20% again— is there a way to lock or preserve the zoom ratio across pages?

Whenever I try and search something in my imported media box, nothing comes up. Has never happened before so Idk what's causing this/what happened.I've looked through here adn the only "solution", or better said workaround is trying to duplicate my project.Would that literally just be, go to where I have my PRPROJ file saved, copy it and open the copy?? Having to scour through 700 files just to get what you want is not really efficient.

hi all!I want to create a form/template out of an existing .pdf with editable text fields. Is there a way that text fields can automatically be transformed into form-fields so that it can be recognized when choosing the form-function under tools or do I have to create the form field by field on my own? Many thanks,Markus

Dropping an .MKV video clip with multitrack audio embedded onto the new item icon creates a sequence that propagates the video track and all of the audio tracks that were recorded. That's great. But the audio sounds like Porky Pig on a bad day. I have searched for a setting that would fix this but have found nothing. When I drop the same clip into Davinci Resolve, it just works. Watch the attached video that demonstrates this issue.

Issue has been going on for several months now, I've worked with IT at my company to exclude any other potential problems. It seems to have started with ID 20.1; I've never had any problems in the past.  Any files saved on a server cause indesign to run incredibly slow, and very laggy. Link size isn't the issue, as it happens with any file, regardless of if it even has any links. This also only seems to be in ID, I haven't noticed any problems with illustrator or photoshop.  All our working files are saved on this server, and we need to keep it that way because we work collaboratively, and others may need to access the files at any time.  This could be an issue with our servers, but I wanted to post/report in case there's an issue with indesign not getting along with network servers.

DankeLGEva

Hello, has anyone else been experiencing issues with the info panel not displaying wordcount data? I've relied on the feature for years without issue until now. I don't have any pending updates, I've closed and restarted the program, and I've tried a new document with the same results. Sometimes the info panel displays the character, words, lines and paragraph lines without data when text is highlighted and sometimes it's completely gone. I'll provide screenshots with both scenarios displayed.

I work for county government and must reference federal documents or websites (such as the U.S. Census or Federal Highway) via hyperlinks in my reports. Reports (pdfs) or websites from federal agencies often show the 'red light' on the hyperlinks panel which warns that the hyperlink is not working. I have copied the hyperlink from my browser and inserted it through the hyperlinks panel but still receive this warning. What can I do to make this right?

Hi every one. I want to make a website to edit the after effect projects (.aep) files and then render them to make online videos.the scenario is :1- i make some editable aep files and put them into the server in a website2- users get online and put their data into inputs in website (text, logo and  etc.)3- the server must gets the data from user and update the aep files with new data from user4- server renders the data with aerender to make video outputs for user.and the AE must be installed on the server. Are these steps right? can i edit/update aep files with new data with EXTENDSCRIPT?I want to make something like renderforest.com website.another question is how can i make editale aep files? any approach or help or startpoint or anything will be great.thanks.
