Photoshop

Hi all,  Recently, my Photoshop Beta has defaulted to only using 35 colours with a gif export (save for web) no matter how many times I select 256 colours and the Perceptual option.Below you can see my settings and the massive colour shift from blue to green.Also, the colours that are in the Color Table are all marked with a dot (what does the dot mean?) whereas previously 256 colours would have been used and only some had the dot on the swatch. Please help... 

Please, does anyone know a way to rotate the clone tool properly with a French keyboard? S'il vous plaît, quelqu'un connaît-il un moyen de faire pivoter correctement l'outil de clonage avec un clavier français? 

I updated to Photoshop 24.5.0. and immediately noticed considerable lag when using ALT(for eyedropper) and the Hand-tool. Intermittenly the tool gets stuck for a second or so after I release. Sometimes it gets stuck altogether and I have to press the key again to make it release.My setup:-I run Win 10 Pro and two monitors plus Wacom Cintiq 27QHD.-I have Asus PRIME Z690-P D4, ATX motherboard with Intel Core i7-12700K as the chip which has a built in GPU (UHD 770). My Wacom is attached to the motherboard (w. Display Port), as is my big BenQ (HDMI) and then the smaller Acer onto the GeForce (HDMI). My other GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030.-I have Photoshop 2023 and 2021 installed, using 2023 exclusively (I have to have PS 2021 installed, because the Wacom settings for PS don't seem to work when set for PS 2023).I also use Tourbox Neo, but the same lag occurs when I use the keyboard--as I said, this happened right after I upgraded to 24.5.0

We are an event design business and have all our own products.  Im really interested in exploring creative mock ups generated by AI using only our own pieces - or ideation with our products at the heart and additional styling around them.   Have tried using our work as the source image but it strays too far. All images are saved in our Libraries in PNG form, along withg all previous mockups.  We currently spend a lot of time layering pieces and designing mock ups but would love to see if AI can improve this process for us!  Any ideas? The Generate/Genreative Fill funcitonality is great, but we need to be able to replace pieces with real life actual products. ideally in layered PSD so we can edit as the design progresses.  

Os programas da adobe estão quase não rodando no windows, coisa básica como fazer um post 1080x1350, usando o mínimo de recursos, estão complicados de ser feitos, ou os programas consomem muita memória, ou chegam até mesmo travar. Sem nos dar a opção de salvar ou algo do tipo. 

Hi,I've updated to PS version 26.8.0 and wanted to try the new JPEG XL file format, but when I try to save a Copy as JPEG XL, Photoshop crashes.

Hi guys, hope all is well. I started having this mask visualization problem: the gradients seem "broken" into steps (as you can see on my screenshot). I've had this problem before on my later Mac running Photoshop 2024. And on the same machine, when I open the file on PS 2023 the problem doesn't show.  I updated to an M4 recently and installed Photoshop 26.8. It ran smoothly up until today, when the problem with the masks appeared. The steps show on 8, 16 and 32 bit files. Do you know of anything I could do to solve the problem? Thanks a lot for the help. only happens when the brush is selected. the symmetry toll is under the share button. also i cant dock the option pallete or change the size of it

I am using the arrow keys to preview typefaces. From any starting typeface I can only navigate 50 typefaces. Once I've reached the 50th in the dropdown the arrow keys stop functioning as a way to navigate the even though are houndreds more. The same bug exsists using the typeface dropdown from the options bar and the character panel.Photoshop 26.5, Windows 11

Why can't I move these gradient anchors at all? I can only slide them up and down but sometimes I want to adjust the placement of them.

Hi there, I've been using photoshop for years and have never had this issue before. Everything was working fine until suddenly my eraser tool seemed to appear as a crosshair rather than the normal circle cursor I usually see. When I apply it to my photo, it erases the whole subject matter rather than the particular area I am applying it to. I have tried the CAPS Lock thing, I've tried to adjust the cursor in preferences, restart the app but nothing seems to work. Any help would be much appreciated as I have an assignment due soon. 

I updated to Mac Seqoia and updated my old PS to PS 25, since then there is so much that doesn't work now eg unable to clone, write text etc, when I try to open up a text square, there is Spanish writing in the square, what is happening ?

So basically, I've installed Adobe Photoshop before, then uninstalled it (because I thought I no longer needed it). Now I'm trying to install it again (because it turns out I still need it) but now it won't install. The adobe program shortcut loads, and when I click on it, and there's a popup menu asking if I want the program to make changes to my computer, but when I click "yes", the thing goes away as if it's about to install but......nothing.   And when I  try to install it from the microsoft store, it "installs" but then says there's an error message, but the thing says it's already installed, but if I was to close microsoft store & open it again & search for the Adobe Photoshop program again, it comes up as uninstalled & the "Install" button is there again.   Appreciate the help anyone can give me.

Hi I can not open Photoshop from either the Bridge or directly. From the Bridge  it goes into ACR and then a box appears  asking me if i want   a 30 day trial or subscribe to Photoshop.This is the same box  that comes up either way. The same box comes up in ACR and then it is asking me to save files in order to close. I have been into Creative Cloud  and checked for updates and also managed my  updates. I am still under contract. Has anybody any ideas. I keep going around in a circle. Photoshop was working ok yesterday. The only thing i can think off is to download Photoshop again after uninstallling   my programs  but will i end up getting charged again.

Hi I'm expirencing this issue with Photoshop where when using a pen tablet in Photoshop, the selection tool does not display the circular cursor as expected.It works all fine without the PenTab or touchpad/external mouse.This is on a Microsoft Surface laptop.Does anyone know about this??

Hi I have used Photoshop for many years for making photo graphics, and I have enjoyed using the application. A couple of months ago I bought a new printer, Epson ET 8550, and until now I have primarily made pictures of size A3+ (329 x 483 mm) and just printed them I full size with good results. Right now I make pictures of size 30 x 40 cm and want to print them on A3+ paper in the exact size, but the resulting print has a different size. Because of my problems, I have made the following 3 tests. I want to print a Picture of size 30x40 cm. So I create a PS document of that size. The only content of the picture is a thin frame made as a Select (CMD+a) and an inside  2 px black stroke. In the print menu I select “Super B/A3 borderless” and Paper Type Premium Semigloss. The measure of the printed frame is 30,5 x 40,8 cm.I suspected the choice “borderless” to be the reason why the resulting  frame is larger than expected. Next I print the same document, but now

Goodafternoon,PS will not quit without force quitting. Brand new macbook pro, 32 gig of memory, 4TB hardrive....tried all the usual, reinstalling [cursing removed]. Any help will be appreciated. This just is frustrating and mind numbing.   thanks  

I have searched the database and tried all of the suggestions I can find. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my printer, I have ensured that the profiles are in my ColorSync folder and in Library -> Applicaiton Support -> Adobe -> Color -> Setting Folder. I can see my Epson profiles when I am working a file in Photoshop by going to View -> Proof Setup.What I cannot see is any of my Epson profiles when going into "Print Settings" --> Photoshop Manages Colors... The profiles were preset once, but they are now all missing.  I hate updating software because it always messes with this critical part of my workflow.regards,bruce

With PS 26.7 it seems the view in the adjustment panel is defaulted to modern. In icon view, the icons work as expected on a MAC but on Windows the icon view is always large for the "modern" view. Large icons, medium icons and small icons are all large. Changing their size in the settings doesn't change their size.  We're seeing this on Windows but not on Mac.   

Hi guys,An Photoshop-amateur need some help 🙂When putting images into Photoshop they often seem to get brightened.Details in pre-made colored backgrounds disappear and when trying to remove a images background (white item on a white background) and needed to adjust edges manually, the edges is simply impossible to see.I hope the above makes sense. What to do?

Hi All   i'm trying to type in polish characters in Photoshop 2019 i.e. letter "Ś" which is a combination of right-Alt + S and instead of getting polish character i get Save As window prompt. Type in language in Windows 10 is set to Polish, i can type it in anywhere else, but not in Photoshop. i must be missing some type-in settings. thanks for help in advance.   {Thread renamed by moderator}

I am trying to make an animating photo on photoshop for an assignment in my digital design class but the create timeline option isn't showing up for me . I Have a Dell Inc. XPS 13 and the version of photoshop 26.8 and idk if it's the computer that doesn't support this feature since I was otp with adobe and they tried to help me fix with cleaning the adobe, unistalling and reintalling, and I even reset preferences and nothing. If anyone has suggestion on how to fix it pls let me know.
