Photoshop

So, I buy an extra Firefly credit subscribtion. And the next day, partner models are gone from generative fill options. I'm in the middel of a project and each time I spend more money, I get less options. Not to forget I manually logged a pc off so I could work on my laptop and Adobe resets my account. For the second time in one month. I've been using Adobe for over 20 years, and the past couple of months they got me so angry and disapointed... 

Out of nowhere, I've started getting an "Error: Internal error" message when I try and open Photoshop from Lightroom Photo/Edit In/Open as layers in Photoshop. I've tried resetting preferences and rebooting. There doesn't seem to be much on this that I can find in the Forums or via Google. Can anyone help?ThanksJ

Adobe Photoshop crashes/ closes when opening an image. It closes even when using the place link/ place embedded option. Hi, looking for help with this dreaded GPU Runtime error.Since updating to Photoshop v27 when it was released, I started getting this GPU Runtime error when editing a RAW file in ACR. Sometimes after editing just 1 image, occasionally after editing 2. I never had it before. All I could do was close PS then open it again. Using Windows 11.I rolled back to PS v26 but still got the error, so went back to PS v27 in the hope that a future update might solve the problem. I am now on Photoshop v27.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 18.1.1My graphics card is an nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB RAM and have the latest Studio Driver, 32.0.15.9174 dated 30.12.2025.Having searched the internet for suggestions I have already tried the following :Going into the Advanced Graphics Processor Settings in Photoshop  (Edit >Preferences>Performance) I have disabled all the options in there. i.e.      Use Open CL            Anti

I keep seeing this pattern showing up in all my current files. Same shape/color/pattern size, wondering if anyone has seen this before or has a fix? For the life of me I cannot figure out how to fix it despite multiple full system reboots of both my macbook and the photoshop application.

When using the Remove Tool, occasionally, Photoshop freezes, start using all of the available RAM, and stay frozen for a while until it cancels the operation, indicating “not enough memory (RAM)”.Notably, this happens even when removing very small areas (e.g., 10 px wide), while the program usually runs smoothly and has absolutly no difficulty handling way bigger areas in a timely manners. In other words: the RAM hording and overflow looks like a bug, and not a result of me asking too much with my system.Additionnally, bug or not, the user should be able to cancel the ongoing operation (typically by pressing the Escape key), rather than staying stuck for a full minute, waiting for Photoshop to inevitably cancel it.

Did Adobe break something in Photoshop 2025? I updated it a couple days ago and now the Brightness and Contrast settings won't preview in the box. The effects will work on an image but I can't tell what I'm doing without the preview sliders. Already wiped preferences and reset them- same problem. I normally have the graphics processor turned off on this machine- have to turn it back on for this function to work correctly and this is not ideal. I use 2025 on this particular workstation for reasons, I know a newer Photoshop is available. 

Hello,I am taking a self-guided course on layers and keep running into a problem. The course says to select the layer which is a smart object and then use the brush tool to paint over it. I keep receiving the dialog box 'This smart object must be rasterized before proceeding.' When I choose to do that, the brush color does not change the color of what I'm trying to paint. What can I do to edit the smart object with a brush?

Can someone direct me to any recent information about this issue, or what I should be looking for? I'm struggling to find information about it, I'm not technical but I can usually dig in and figure out and fix something, and I've hit a wall. Maybe I don't know what to search for? I find comments alluding to it. I think I'm trying to find some kind of troubleshooting steps to narrow down if something in my OS has changed or where the problem could be. It seems other people have experienced it because I did find a suggestion to move the settings files. I obviously need them for what I'm working on, so I tried resetting my workspace and reimporting my presets but I'm having the same problem. Normally my next step would be to update photoshop but i'm intentionally one update behind and I don't dare since it seems to be a known bug in photoshop 26. This is a new issue, I used to be able to use illustrator and photoshop concurrently, super huge files without any problem, they never used

I want to create an Action (not a Batch file) that will change the image size and resolution of a .dng file and then do a Save As or Quick Export As or Export As that will stop to enter a file name and default to .jpg. This will work when not creating an Action but the Action will always default to a .psd file in the dialog box. I have tried the following online suggestions to default to .jpg and they all work when not using an Action but an Action will not create any file type other than .psd. 1. Preferences -> File Handling - check Enable Legacy "Save As"- Has no effect on Actions2. In Actions use Insert Menu Item and select Save A Copy or Export.- Quick Export is set to default to jpg but can not be selected in Menu Item and Export As will not default to .jpg type or use the image size and resolution already chnaged in Image Size. Hi,I’m working with Photoshop Timeline animations that use Position / Transform keyframes on layers that are Smart Objects.The animation behaves correctly in the original document size.However, when I change the canvas size or aspect ratio (for example from horizontal to vertical), the animated Smart Object layers shift position and the animation no longer aligns as expected. Hi community,  I would say that I'm an intermediate Photoshop user, and with my use of Photoshop on a regular basis (architecture), I constantly face this puzzle : How to remove a uneven grey background, like this hand sketche photo, to keep only lines and maintain the fluidity and smoothness/expression of the lines ?Secondly, I have tons of sketches, does an action could automate this task ? (I didn't have good results with AI yet..) L'outil pour sélectionner rapidement un sujet sur PS 27.2 ne fonctionne pas pour moi. Je peux le faire manuellement mais je dois avouer que c'est beaucoup moins long avec le sélecteur automatique... J'ai rétrogradé à la version 27.1 et ça fonctionne parfaitement...

The tool to remove generative AI in Photoshop gives an error.In Adobe Photoshop, the removal tool using generative artificial intelligence gives an error.Is anyone else experiencing this issue? When will this issue go away? I checked the Adobe Creative Cloud app, but there's no update. That green bar never fills. When I drag the cursor, shape zoom-in from centre of the shape. Is there any setting to make shape zoom-in from the corner of the shape? Video was uploaded  

after updating photoshop to the latest verison my application is crashing when i use the text tool. the first time i used the text tool after the update it created a tightly bound box where it looked corrupt - layers of the grab handles one on top of the next - couldn't enter in any text, zoomed in and pulled the handles apart to make it usable. started to enter in text - crashed. rebooted the app and created a new text layer - which started normally - fake text to replace by typing - but once i started typing it crashed.  clearly something has gone terribly wrong with the latest update re the text tool. this needs to be fixed. nothing has changed my end - ONLY the update to photoshop.... my specs:photoshop version: 27.2.0OS version: sonoma 14.8.3

I frequently use the radial blur tool in PS and would love to see a reset button on the tool (similar to that on the curves tool etc.). This is because, when I have moved the centre point of the blur for one image, if I then open another image to apply a different radial blur, I have to close the whole app to get the middle of the blur to be at the centre of the image, and that is a big waste of time. Better yet, a button on the tool that allows the user to place the centre of the effect directly on the image in the workspace (similar to how the eyedropper tool can pick locations on an image). This kind of adaption would allow multiple repositioning attempts and take away the guesswork when moving the centre in the box on the pop-up window for the tool.

During this "copying" process, I've run into a couple of problems I need help with.1. My biggest issue is that I can't seem to get the right shade of color. I've searched online but couldn't find a clear answer... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I need to learn more about color theory, specifically color mixing.2. I've realized that what I see on my screen doesn't match the final printed result. I need to be able to see my guides when moving them into position, Yes, I've got my preferences set properly—I've been using PhotoShop since version 1.0 in 1990, so I'm somewhat familiar with the terrain.  I can see them when on a darker background because they're a white, closely-dotted line, but on a white backgound, they're entirely invisible, and its a huge worklflow disruption.  Is there a new setting somewhere I'm not seeing, or another workaround? Thanks.

Desktop Einblendung.Ich habe mich an den zuständigen Administrator gewandt und bekomme seit Tagen keine Rückmeldung.Photoshop kann ich seit Tagen nicht mehr nutzen!und habe bezahlt dafür....Was tun ?Danke für Ihre Hilfe.Roland

I started a free photoshop 7 day trial. It was not the software I need. I logged into my account and it is not listed. I open the app on my mac and it shows the countdown to my charge date (7 days). It shows my account, its matches the one I'm signing into. Yet canceling it is not possible becuase it is not listed on my account. What do I do?
