Solved

Within the last week or so, I suddenly can't print adobe docs.  When I select print, a dialogue box appears saying cannot print, then upon hitting ok, another box appears saying could not print because 'there were no pages selected to print".  I have tried everything and even did system restore.  I have made no changes or have done anything that would explain why suddenly I am having this problem. I want to be able to print, but it would also be nice to know what caused this.

Howdy folks, Hope all is well! So, I've just been given a collection of just under 200 vinyl records from my dad to try and sell. After recording all their names/years and taking photos of both the front and back of each record, I am now ready to prep a nice package to send to some potential buyers. That said, I currently have 382 photos to work through... I've renamed them all in the following manner: "Record1_front" ... "Record1_back" /// "Record2_front" ... "Record2_back". What I'm doing is opening a canvas in Photoshop that is twice the width of one photo, placing both the "front" and "back" files onto the canvas, placing the front on the left and the back on the right, then saving in a different folder with just the name "Record 1" /// "Record2". Is there a way to automate this process for every image in my folder? Appreciate your time and help! James

I have a script to save files as PSDs, that of course errors out when the file is over 2GB, since it should save as a PSB instead. Basic logic, I'd like the script to check file size, and determine if it needs to be a PSD or a PSB and save, without throwing an error.Where/when would I check the file size to have a script to save as PSB?I've recorded save as PSB via script listener, and I'm seeing 2 different states for saving PSBs, "Begin" and "Success", along with a background file save complete.var jsFilePath = "/Users/<<USER_NAME>>/Desktop/theFileOver2GB.psb" // ======================================================= Begin var idsave = stringIDToTypeID( "save" ); var desc766 = new ActionDescriptor(); var idas = stringIDToTypeID( "as" ); var desc767 = new ActionDescriptor(); var idmaximizeCompatibility = stringIDToTypeID( "maximizeCompatibility" ); desc767.putBoolean( idmaximizeCompatibility, true ); var idlargeDocumentFormat = st

I'm on a Mac Mini M1 with 16GB and Big Sur 11.2.3, and am up to date on my Creative Cloud updates. About 25-30% of the time, when the computer goes to sleep, Illustrator will drop down about 1/5 of the way down the screen, as if I clicked the title bar and dragged it down the screen. When this happens, some of my panels will move around as well and I have to reset my workspace. Also, the grey space around the artboard shimmers when I move my cursor and the little popup window urging me to click and learn more about new features will have the font size reduced about 60%. All this happens with both Illustrator and Photoshop (the only Adobe apps I use regularly.) I usually end up quitting and restarting the program, and resetting my workspace. Oddly, all this doesn't happen EVERY time the computer sleeps, but it does happen fairly often, and is very annoying.

The attached image is AI generated and was rejected at the first review due to quality issues. So I revised and resubmitted and was rejected for similar content issue. There are indeed many photos with similar compositions. However, I did a similar search for images narrowed down to Asians and I don't think there are that many. I could not find in my search which content was very similar. Which is the content on which the rejection was based? Does anyone know how to find out? Thank you very much in advance.

After Photoshop was updated to v 26.6.0 a couple of days ago, it will not run if Lightroom Classic (Release 14.3) is running at the same time. It will start, but take a long time doing so, and the Windows Resource Monitor indicates that it is not responding. If I close Lightroom, then Photoshop will start working. If I start Photoshop by itself, it works fine until I start Lightroom, then it becomes unresponsive. I have tried uninstalling both applications, then re-installing them several times, but nothing changes. I have tried disabling GPU acceleration in both programs, but the problem still persists. I am on a Windows 11 PC with 64GB RAM. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have version 29.5 for Photoshop but there are no options for Deactivate Native Canvas. Any tips?

I received the following email this morning. Does this look real or like a scam? I'm afraid to click on the links.   [Moderator blurred sensitive information]

I see that my app is missing, and now I can't add a new one without risking another synching nightmare.  How can I continue to use Creative Cloud?  I'm worried I'll have to give it up entirely now to protect my files.

Ringrazio.
