Solved

Lightroom Classic Metadata conflict errors appeared on thousands of images overnight.  Tried overriding on several hundred.  I do use xmp sidecar files on newer images.  Conflicts happens on both, with and without sidecar files.  Looking for advice.

Hi, I've had a paid subscription with adobe illustrator on the iPad for about 3 months now. I hadn't used it in a while and tried to use it about a month ago but when I open the app this pops up: I've tried signing out and logging in with other accounts and I've tried "Restore your purchase". It all results in coming back to this page. I know I've paid as I have the invoices and when I first open the app and this subscription page loads, I can see a box saying that I have already subscribed. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again and it didn't change anything. What should I do?Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm working with a Wacom Cintiq 24HD with a pen (and Win 11 Pro) and in every Adobe program I have no problems with using the pen. In Premiere 25.6.2 the pen wouldn't work correctly. Is there somewhere a box I missed to check that allows working with a pentool?Thankss.

Hi. I have Adobe through school. I was able to use Adobe acrobat (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/compress-pdf?x_api_client_id=adobe_com&x_api_client_location=compress_pdf) to compress a 1GB pdf to 3.8mb file without any difficulty. However, after that first use, I have been getting "NO_SIGN_USER" error constantly even though I am logged in with the same account. I have not been able to compress anything, and even if does, it keeps the file as is or doesn't compress enough. I have tried all different methods and even tried logging out of creative cloud. Please help!!

Does anyone ever get the message: "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart....""Stop code Kmode exception_not_handled".Happens about once a week when working in PS.

hello all - wondering if i can get some help with a script. script function - export all and only the selected objects on a page as individual JPGs.  issue - the JPGs keep exporting with extra padding at the top of the box IF there is text close to the top edge. nothing is exceeding the background (example text frame boxes etc) - everything is inside of the grouped background. it is also only happening if there is text next to a top edge - any other edge it does not add any extra padding, hopefully this screenshot will help explain the script: (function () {if (app.documents.length === 0) { alert("Open a document first."); return; }var doc = app.activeDocument;if (!doc.selection || doc.selection.length === 0) {alert("Select the items you want to export, then run the script.");return;}var items = [];for (var i = 0; i < doc.selection.length; i++) {var it = doc.selection[i];if (it.hasOwnProperty("geometricBounds")) items.push(it);}if (items.length === 0) { alert("Nothing exportable in

I updated my Lightroom classic lastnight before finalizing a clients gallery, and after I did that, ALL of my photos and presents are gone! What happened and how to I bring it back? I am now behind on delivering a gallery to a client because without my photos, I have to restart ALL of the photo edits all over.

Some background: Currently have scanned 2,000 of Dad's 5,000 slides. Began a year ago with 20 yr. old Nikon 5000 and 10 yr. old Macbook Pro. Signed up for the Adobe Photographer deal with 20 Gig of cloud. My old Macbook could not run the latest LR version but Adobe came thru with a version it would run.  All fine, until I realized I'd quickly run out of cloud space.  Bought a new I-Mac and converted to LRC, and did not lose any scans in the process. Now I'm using LRC for my own photography and still scanning.  I just took a class on LR editing and was impressed by the instructor and his ability to sync to his phone.  Came home and added LR to my I-phone, Surprised to see my first 982 photos were available on the phone, same photos as on the old laptop. I have turned off sync in LR on the Macbook.  I have not yet turned on sync on the I-Mac. I'm worried the early photos will cause conflict. Do I need to delete the original photos (scans) from the cloud before sy

Ok, as far as I can see on the website, photographing Apple products is prohibited.''Apple logos, icons and product designs are protected. Not acceptable for commercial licensing.''In the past, I even deleted some photos because I hadn’t noticed during the shoot that the model was wearing an Apple Watch. My photos of mobile phones were rejected even though they weren’t iPhones, simply because they “resembled” an iPhone. Now I have a lot of photos to sort out, and the same thing happened again—the model is wearing a watch that looks like an Apple Watch. Of course, I can remove the Apple Watch in Photoshop, but I have a lot of photos, and I’m asking this question because I’ve found a large number of images online already where watch that resembles an Apple Watch is clearly visible. Also images of a MacBook clearly visible.I don’t want to post links, since I don’t want to cause problems for fellow photographers, but I really don’t understand—are we allowed to photograph Apple products or

Dear Adobe Team, I am writing to you because I have a strong desire to start learning Adobe After Effects. I am a 16-year-old high school student and, unfortunately, I am unable to afford a monthly subscription, nor do I have a bank card for online payments. I have a significant interest in video editing and I hope to be able to develop my skills. I know my request is unconventional, but I sincerely hope you might consider making an exception for me. Would you please consider granting me free access to the program until I turn 18, which will be on February 10, 2027? I am ready to provide proof of my student status (e.g., student email or official document) if required. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

hey, does anyone know if theres any way to download ae 22? i currently have an ae 25 subscription but i also want ae 22 since it has the theme colorization (i know stupid reason) but theres not an option to install that version in the creative cloud app

I am not an expert in Premiere, so please be kind as I probably describe this poorly. Haha.    After a recent update, when I drag transitions to my timeline, they no longer appear as separate elements; they're combined. I download these from Envato, remove what I don't need, and leave the rest.    Now, the only way I can make this happen is if I right-click them and click Open in Timeline, which opens it in a separate timeline and looks like this...     How do I get it to appear like that on my main timeline? That's what used to happen, but now I get this...     Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks! 😃   [Title edited by mod for clarity]

Hi Not sure if this is possible... but will ask just in case! I have an old video of family and in the bottom corner it has the date stamp. I want to cover the date stamp so it is not visible (but have the video astill playing).  Is there any way to obscure it? Many thanks!

Hi, please help if you can! I'm using a Mac. I've uninstalled the app, and reinstralled it through Creative Cloud. Shutdown and restarted my computer several times. Tried holding down the option key when opening the app and resetting my preferences (including clearing media cache) and Premiere still won't open. It looks like it shows the initial start-up screen, and then seems to sit in the dock, but isn't actually open. I don't have anything in the tool bar. It's like it's just not there. I have to force quit. I don't know what else i can do? Thanks.

Hello, I have Adobe Acrobat Continuous release | Version 2025.001.20918 | 64 bit. I would like to have my comment as "Annotations with connected callouts. how can i do that? Thank you so much for your help and time!

Is there a web page or video explaining how the crop tool works now? I have it set it a ratio (16:9) for video production. I want to use my cursor to draw the general area I want the crop to be. I think this is how Photoshop crop used to work in the past. Now, when I try to use my cursor to draw the area, Photoshop crops wrong and I have to keep undoing. It's extremely frustrating as I'm needing to crop specific areas of dozens of newspaper articles for a docuseries I'm an Assistant Editor on. Please help, this is driving me nuts.

Greetings all, long time reader here. First time posting. This is going to be a long post, sorry. Just wanted to give as much information as I could . Over the last few updates for Lightroom I have noticed image rendering in the develop moduale getting slower, sometimes 10-15 seconds before it is ready to edit. I have done all of the suggested tips listed in the community and elsewhere. Nothing helped unfortunetly. I run a fairly new home build fast system and confident it is not the bottleneck. After doing all of the mentioned suggestions I could find I concluded I either have a bad Lightroom install or corrupt catolog system files. I have used Lightroom for a long time, maybe even the first version. Over that time I have accumalated about 7 or so different catologs with a total 300k images. I just updated to LR 15.0.1 which was a full update with updated catologs. So I was leaning more towards corrupted catolog files. My concern with any changes was not to loose any edit history. So
