Solved

When I open Data merge window in the New InDesgn 202 (v. 20.0) I cannot see the Fields listed in the window after I select a new .csv file. I am attaching a picture of the new version vs. the previous version of InDesign for the same file. Is this an issue with everyone? I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.7 om an M1 Mac Mini.     <Title renamed by MOD>

My colleague and I share reviews for illustrator projects but yesterday we started receiving the "Comments in this section do not map to any views in the content" error and we are not able to drop pins. We can comment but no pins and the comment doesn't show up on my end. We are both on an Enterprise plan.

I have been making slideshows from collections, but today when I go to the Collection (in LR classic) and click on slideshow the order is fine, then when I click on "Create Saved Slideshow" the order of the photos changes!  Any suggestions? Thanks.

It would helpful to have scrollbars of usual size in Premiere Rush. The current scrollbars are tiny. A more ADA-friendly size would be much easier to use.

I had an Adobe Pro subscription that I didnt use. So I decided to cancel it and disintalled the programme. I have now been trying to instal adobe reader and it keeps failing. Yet, ironically, if I try to install again the paid one, that works a charm. Any help?

So technically, I have 2 problems here. The first problem is that when I export the final animation, it jumps from 1% to 20%, and then exports the rest. The final product shows that 20% of the video is missing. I've tried again and again, but nothing works. I've restarted the application, uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and even restarted my computer. Nothing works. The second problem happened when I looked into the publish settings at the left of the computer. (I'm using a Mac) I tried to export it as a swf, which worked, but I want to export the whole thing as a mp4. But when I clicked on Export on the top right, and then clicked on Publish, it shows 2 options, one where it SHOULD say "Video (MP4)" and "Animated GIF". But for me, it instead says "Video (3gp)" I got very confused and went to the publish settings to try and fix it, but there is no setting for exporting as an mp4. Does anyone have a solution to both of these problems? Please let me know as soon as poss

What is going on?!I have deleted my cookies, tried a different browser and done multiple restarts, but nothing works. The site still crashes.

We have users using the Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 Perpetual License, will they still work and can we still use them?

Hi, One of my client is asking to install "IndicPlus plugin" as they're facing issue with Indic languages. Please let me know if the plugin is still aviailable?

Hi! I'm quite new to using 3d in Illustrator. I want to make a cube that I can animate in After effects, so I learned I have to prepare using the new 3d and materials panel, not the classic 3d panel. The problem is that the mapped symbols get distorted very easily, and I don't know how to control this.Every face of the cube has a word, and I need to be able to manipulate the cube, changing size, position.. until I get a nice looking storyboard and ideally the cube ready to use in AE.  I made some tests and I could get the cube to AE and use it there, but the problem is that I can't freely manipulate the cube (in this version, not actually a cube) without getting all the faces to look crazy. In the example I'm attaching, I tried to resize the cube, and I got all kinds of distortions, including spirals. So I tried to add all the symbols again, and they keep getting randomly distorted, like in this print. In this version, the symbols are words added to the symbols panel.Ill

My client has an InDesign book (.indb) designed by a different designer. It has 4 sections and is 72 pages long. My client wants a printable PDF in printer spreads with bleed and crop marks. How do I make that for her? I have done it a million times when the entire document was just a plain InDesign file (.ind), but I have spent hours trying to get it right with the .indb file and sections.

Good afternoon! We have a weird issue with Adobe Reader not being able to print to any HP DesignJet Plotter. Foxit PDF Reader prints finer to the plotter with the exact same settings but Adobe Reader refuses to even send the document to the plotter.I thought it would be an update that Adobe has put out.Any advise would be welcome!Let me know if you require any information!Note:- The issues have been happening with Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines but never happens when Foxit is used.

Back in 2015 my company purchased a volume license of Acrobat XI through a reputable reseller, CDW. Everything has been working fine until today. Today I got notification that my license has been revoked. I spoke with Adobe Support and was told that they no longer provide license support for XI. They confirmed the license was real, but that they did not see anything wrong with it on their end and referred me to the Adobe Community to talk to the experts..  I've searched various posts and found no real resolution.  Any experts out there have any idea how I can fix this?

Hi, I submitted a collection of photos I've taken while travelling that have been edited but only to adjust the colours, but after submitting it I was informed there was a Quality Issue, but I'm not quite sure what I've done wrong with the images. I've attached a few to give an idea of what I was submitting. Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Our goal: We would like to enable SSO with our Azure AD and then sync users and groups to the Adobe console so that we can automatically assign licenes based on group membership. A couple question that I have as I have tried to walk through the documentation to setup the SSO and Sync: During the process of setting up SSO using OIDC, it asks about the "Automatic account creation". Default is enabled. Should this be disabled if we are planning on setting up sync with Azure AD or do they have seperate functions?During the process of setting up SSO using OIDC, it creates an Enterprise Application in Azure. When setting up the sync (SCIM), should I use this same Enterprise Application provisiong section or should I create a seperate one to use just for the SCIM sync? Thanks in advance.

Tried clearing the thumbnail cache, turning "thumbnails instead of icons" off/on (both in Acrobat Preferences and Windows Explorer folder options), and reinstalling the Acrobat. Didn't work. The only case they show is when I change my desktop icon size to Large. The issue here is they have a white background around the PDF preview (which I don't think was the case before), and - I want my icons to be back to Medium size. There is no issue with the preview on icons or any size in folders, only on Desktop. Any help or fix that doesn't include hillbilly patches, third-party debuggers, or add-ons?

Hi,  When making a new node via script and setting the identifier like this: output_node = graph.newNode("sbs::compositing::output") output_node.setPosition(sd.api.sdbasetypes.float2(48, 48)) output_node.setAnnotationPropertyValueFromId("identifier", sd.api.sdvaluestring.SDValueString.sNew("N")) output_node.setAnnotationPropertyValueFromId("description", sd.api.sdvaluestring.SDValueString.sNew("Normal")) The node doesn't update in the UI,  it just has the default 'output' name and doesn't show the description in the tooltip.  I have to click each node for it to refresh and show the correct name and tooltip.  Given there doesn't seem to be a SelectNode(node) in the API i can't do this in the script either. I would have there might have been a node.Redaw() or graph.Redaw() but can't find anything along those lines in the API either.  Am i missing something here or is this a bug?  Thanks.

This has been asked for for years and years now and it has been aknoledged a billion times. When will we finally see actual non-square texture support ? This is such an important feature to have in game development, I have no idea how this isnt a number 1 priority. This should be a basic functionallity for any serious game development texturing software. The only way of getting half descent results is by changing UV transformation settings inside each and every layer to a power of 2 ratio, which is a ridiculously tedious task on complex models and doenst solve all problems every time.Setting Texture Set Settings to non-square doenst make any meaningfull difference as it is not reflected in the 2D and 3D viewport.Test best results i could come up with was using clinched UVs and non-square bakes, with square Texture Set and export settings, while changing UV transform settings to the power of 2 .How does no one seem to care ?Is there a magic plugin everyone but me knows about ?&n

Ever since Adobe support 'fixed' my issue after loading Acrobat Pro on my new IMAC I have been getting this error when opening MS WORD - Run Time Error 53 - and this path - library/applications support/adobe/macpdfm/macpdfm.framework/Version/A/macpdfm - I spent three hours with adobe support yesterday and ended up getting disconnected on a char - I am hoping some on in the Adobe community can help me fix this issue - I am basically back where I started after loading acrobat pro on my IMAC - IMAC is on Mojave 10.14.5 - Acrobat Pro DC - Version 2015.006.30497 - hopefully someone can help - I was transferred over 8 times in Adobe support and the problem never got solved.

Just like shown in the image above, why is this turned off and what can I do to use it?

I came across this script that changes the Brush blend mode:// Select the paint brush tool var idslct = stringIDToTypeID( "select" ); var desc226 = new ActionDescriptor(); var idnull = stringIDToTypeID( "null" ); var ref170 = new ActionReference(); var idPbTl = stringIDToTypeID( "paintbrushTool" ); ref170.putClass( idPbTl ); desc226.putReference( idnull, ref170 ); executeAction( idslct, desc226, DialogModes.NO ); // blend mode var desc = new ActionDescriptor(); var idset = stringIDToTypeID( "set" ); //alert(desc.getEnumerationValue(stringIDToTypeID("mode"))); desc.putEnumerated(stringIDToTypeID("mode"), stringIDToTypeID("blendModel"), stringIDToTypeID("clearEnum")); desc226.putObject( stringIDToTypeID( "to" ), stringIDToTypeID( "null" ), desc); executeAction( idset, desc226, DialogModes.NO ); It works fine, but it has one flaw: it resets the brush settings. For example, if my brush has "Scattering" turned on by default, and I turn it off, the script checks it back on. Is the
