Hi,  When making a new node via script and setting the identifier like this: output_node = graph.newNode("sbs::compositing::output") output_node.setPosition(sd.api.sdbasetypes.float2(48, 48)) output_node.setAnnotationPropertyValueFromId("identifier", sd.api.sdvaluestring.SDValueString.sNew("N")) output_node.setAnnotationPropertyValueFromId("description", sd.api.sdvaluestring.SDValueString.sNew("Normal")) The node doesn't update in the UI,  it just has the default 'output' name and doesn't show the description in the tooltip.  I have to click each node for it to refresh and show the correct name and tooltip.  Given there doesn't seem to be a SelectNode(node) in the API i can't do this in the script either. I would have there might have been a node.Redaw() or graph.Redaw() but can't find anything along those lines in the API either.  Am i missing something here or is this a bug?  Thanks.

This has been asked for for years and years now and it has been aknoledged a billion times. When will we finally see actual non-square texture support ? This is such an important feature to have in game development, I have no idea how this isnt a number 1 priority. This should be a basic functionallity for any serious game development texturing software. The only way of getting half descent results is by changing UV transformation settings inside each and every layer to a power of 2 ratio, which is a ridiculously tedious task on complex models and doenst solve all problems every time.Setting Texture Set Settings to non-square doenst make any meaningfull difference as it is not reflected in the 2D and 3D viewport.Test best results i could come up with was using clinched UVs and non-square bakes, with square Texture Set and export settings, while changing UV transform settings to the power of 2 .How does no one seem to care ?Is there a magic plugin everyone but me knows about ?&n

Ever since Adobe support 'fixed' my issue after loading Acrobat Pro on my new IMAC I have been getting this error when opening MS WORD - Run Time Error 53 - and this path - library/applications support/adobe/macpdfm/macpdfm.framework/Version/A/macpdfm - I spent three hours with adobe support yesterday and ended up getting disconnected on a char - I am hoping some on in the Adobe community can help me fix this issue - I am basically back where I started after loading acrobat pro on my IMAC - IMAC is on Mojave 10.14.5 - Acrobat Pro DC - Version 2015.006.30497 - hopefully someone can help - I was transferred over 8 times in Adobe support and the problem never got solved.

Just like shown in the image above, why is this turned off and what can I do to use it?

I came across this script that changes the Brush blend mode:// Select the paint brush tool var idslct = stringIDToTypeID( "select" ); var desc226 = new ActionDescriptor(); var idnull = stringIDToTypeID( "null" ); var ref170 = new ActionReference(); var idPbTl = stringIDToTypeID( "paintbrushTool" ); ref170.putClass( idPbTl ); desc226.putReference( idnull, ref170 ); executeAction( idslct, desc226, DialogModes.NO ); // blend mode var desc = new ActionDescriptor(); var idset = stringIDToTypeID( "set" ); //alert(desc.getEnumerationValue(stringIDToTypeID("mode"))); desc.putEnumerated(stringIDToTypeID("mode"), stringIDToTypeID("blendModel"), stringIDToTypeID("clearEnum")); desc226.putObject( stringIDToTypeID( "to" ), stringIDToTypeID( "null" ), desc); executeAction( idset, desc226, DialogModes.NO ); It works fine, but it has one flaw: it resets the brush settings. For example, if my brush has "Scattering" turned on by default, and I turn it off, the script checks it back on. Is the

So I bought a new macbook pro 14 inch with the m4 pro 14 cores and 48 gb of Ram and I thought I will be a major change from my previous M1 macbook but unfortunately almost every time I use After effects it will just freeze and will not recover. At times it will freeze the whole mac and I cant even force it to close because the Mac will not do anything. Only way it to reboot it manualy. This is a major problem that never happened to me with the M1 Macbook. This is a brand new Computer with 2 TB hard drive and it completely clean. I had it for 3 days and since day one this keeps on happening. I usually happen when I try to play something on the time line after working on it for a while, but nothing to havey. Again, the M1 got no issues with it. Is that something other people experience? thanks

Our business office is experiencing the following issue. When a signed PDF is emailed to her, the signure disappears when she opens it in Acrobat Pro. The signature is displayed in the preview feature in Gmail so we have determined it IS there. But when it's downloaded and opened in Acrobat it is no longer displayed. The document was signed in Acrobat Pro, emailed to the Business office, downloaded then opened in Acrobat Pro. It is here where the signature is no longer showing as it shows in the email preview. I then had the user send me the PDF and the signature displays in my email preview, but once I open it, it no longer displays. I attempted this on two different computers in both Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader DC. All applications are up to date. We are running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 on all computers. Unsure of what could be causing this and why the signature would show up when we view the file in the Gmail preview but then be cleared when opening it in Acrobat Pro/Reader

I'm very new to this program, and am wondering if there is a way to re-size an animated asset? For context, I animated a rig on a 1920x1080 stage, and want to import it into an 800x1080 stage. When I do that, it's very large, and despite the fact I select and transform all keyframes, it only applies to one. Is there any way to rescale the entirety of said asset?

I recently upgraded to Adobe Fresco 1 year paid subscription.  I also have Adobe Photoshop CC on my desktop and my ipad pro.  I see 25 gigs of space in creative cloud app on my ipad with 11 gigs used.  I was under the impression that I would receive 100 Gigs for a paid subscription of Adobe Fresco.  Is it not under the creative cloud app on my ipad pro? Ballina

This includes older files that never had issues. I've done all the recommended steps — even uninstalled InDesign, losing created workspaces in the process. Clients are waiting. What is the solution, Adobe?

I have a photoshop file with about 20 layers. I am trying to grab three of them that need to stay together and move them. They all have alpha channels, so when I select the layers, then try to grab & move using my mouse, I end up selecting the background layer and causing it to move. I'm unable to move the three layers I want to move together using my mouse. I tried putting them in a Group folder but that didn't help; when I try to grab & move with my mouse, it ends up selecting and moving the background layer. I can move by keyboard (Shift-V), but the image is 9960 x 5599, so moving the three layers that way is too slow.

Hello, I have a question about UV mapping in Substance Painter. As in the attached video, if there are two or more identical star-shaped meshes with front and back sides, what would be the ideal way to map the UVs for the meshes? In the video, the front and back UVs are separated and positioned far apart, while the left and right UVs are overlapped. Will there be any errors or problems when baking in Substance Painter? Is it always better to split the UVs into four without overlapping them? Thank you in advance.

Hello I want to move my Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to a new computer. I tried deactivating it but get a message saying I need to adjust the internet proxy setting on my computer. I've no idea what that means! Can you help? It would be much appreciated.  I also have Premiere Elements 12 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. I have the seial number of all of these.

I was cutting in a clip that was longer than the sequence out point and got the dialogue box asking what behavior I want Premiere to do by default. I chose the wrong one and want to disable it so it'll bring up the dialogue box again. I forget how to do this, it's somewhere in settings I think but I can't find it. Please help.

I recently found this post and it was not solved by the Resident Expert, but I found a proper workaround myself, so I thought I'd share, since Adobe locked the thread without solving it. "Adobe Portfolio customizing MARTA themesMonolunarNew Here , Jul 30, 2020 Do you know how to change the color type on the navigation container for MARTA theme. I can't change the default color when the page scrolls. Thanks!" **WORKAROUND BELOW**After choosing the MARTA theme, you 'll find you cannot edit the navigation text properties.I went to SITE WIDE > BACKGROUND, COLORS & FONTS > Choose DARK THEMEThen go back to SITE WIDE > NAVIGATION > PAGE TITLES > REGULAR (Drop Down Menu) > ROLL OVERAnd there you have it. I almost chose a different theme because I was so disappointed with this specific limitation.I hope this helps someone out there.
