Clicking the "Preflight" button in Print Production mode just produces a message saying:"Preflight is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool."The first time I did this a little icon showed up next to feedback, help etc. indicating that something was happening. Eventually this said there was an error and Acrobat installation would be retried. Now, no such thing shows up. Seemingly nothing happens at all other than showing that message. It's been 30 minutes so I really doubt it's a matter of impatience.I have tried repairing Acrobat installation, and uninstalling/reinstalling through the Creative Cloud app to no avail. Any ideas on how to install/launch the Preflight tool?

Both of these images were rejected as “similar content.” I do think the two images resemble each other, but when I dropped the lower image into Adobe’s search, I could not find any similar images. At the very least, I did not find any illustration of a girl eating a triangular slice of watermelon with one hand. Also, among the images I have already submitted, there are no illustrations of a girl eating watermelon.Given that, I believe it would be reasonable for one image to be approved and the other to be rejected as similar content. Why, then, were both rejected?

I'm wondering what the current recommended order of edits is for a RAW image in LrC. I'm interested in the resulting image, not performance. A post on this thread about order of edits mirrors this page about performance optimization, which puts even an AI adaptive profile at #10. Another Adobe page (and my basic understanding) states that an adaptive profile should be applied first. Instinctively, I wonder myself why a lens profile isn't applied near the beginning—but that's just me trying to think it all through. So, just wondering what the current actual guidance is! Hoping I'm just missing a link.

I have been experiencing a bug? for some time when using library filtering in a Publish Collection and the resulting photo auto-advance if an item gets removed from view after metadata modification. To replicate it:Create a Publish collection (Hard drive, Flickr or Zenfolio etc.)Place 5 or more photos in this collection.Apply an identical rating, color label or keyword to at least of the 4 photosUse a library filter to display just the photos that match the above. So, then I have for example 4 photos A,B,C,D (each rated 2 stars) that are displayed in the filtered publish collection. If I change the rating of photo A to have a single star,Photo A gets removed from the display and selected photo in LR then auto-advances to photo C instead of the expected photo B.(It moves 2 positions forward instead of 1)I have repeated this in LIghtroom 4.4, 5.71 and CC2015.9 on my desktop (Win7) and also with LR C2015.8 on my laptop (Win10).The behavior does not change with the Auto-advance menu setting c

I have attached a clip taken on a Pixel Pro phone which is mp4 format but when I try to import it into APE15, I get the message stating file format is not supported or the codec is missing. I have checked importing an mp4 file from my normal video cam and that works fine. I tried changing the project settings to AVCHD 1080p50 and also QFHD 16x9 50 which are the settings I usually use, but still the same error. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the file and how to resolve this problem please? I have dozens of similar clips that I need in a project.

Hi, when I review my original video, the audio is correctly synced, but when I review the audio after having subtitles added, it is out of sync.  1. Adobe Express (Google Chrome Browser)2. Windows 103. See above4. The audio should not desync after uploading.

On MacOS I've been used to `opt` + `arrow` for increasing / decreasing tracking and leading. But it seems to have disappeared with the same update that killed the `cmd` + `k` for keyboard increment. I've updated to 29.8, that brought back the latter, but the other has gone. To check if it were any other app, I've booted and run Illustrator as the only app or plugin, and it still doesn't work. I'm on MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90). Any suggestions?

I would like to change from Illustrator to Photoshop, is this possible without getting a new subscription?

I am at a loss...the last thing I remember doing was hitting F9 to make an easy ease on a layer and suddenly all of my layers except for one disappered out of my comp viewer. The layers are still in my project, I just can't see them. The screen shot of what I am looking at is below. Please help!

I recently replaced an old PC running Windows 10 with a new PC that came loaded with Windows 11. I installed fresh copies of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop on the new PC using Creative Cloud Desktop. I've had no problems at all for the past month or so, until now. I just tried publishing one of my photos to my Flickr account, and ran into an issue. After dragging and dropping the image into the Flickr Collection (that worked fine), when I clicked on the "Publish" button, Lightroom threw up the following error message:  I did what I always do and Googled the error message. I found several forum posts (mostly on the Adobe site) that gave suggestions on resolving the issue. Most involved removing authorization and re-authorizing the plug-in. I tried that, several times, and it didn't help. I tried running Lightroom as an Administrator (another suggestion I read); still got the error message after trying to re-authorize with Flickr. I emptied the browser (Google Chrome) cac

I usually use Bridge to edit my photos with Camera Raw. When in Camera Raw I cannot find the colour mixer option. I can find a colour menu which has a white balance selection box and four sliders called Temp, Tint, Vibrance and Saturation. There used to and option called Colour Mixer which has choices called Hue, Luminance and Saturation but This seems to have dissapeared. is the colour mixer still available or has it be removed from Camera raw? I am using Camera Raw version 17.5.0.2318 and Bridge version 15.1.1.729. Is there any way to get the Colour Mixer back or is it just hidden somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hello Adobe Community, I manage a construction materials website where we publish price trends for cement and other building materials. I’m looking for ways to streamline the process of creating professional, consistent price charts and infographics. Currently, we manually design them in Photoshop, but as our data updates frequently, it’s becoming time-consuming.   I’ve heard about using the Photoshop API or scripts to programmatically generate charts, graphs, or tables and export them as images. Ideally, I’d like a workflow where: Raw data (price trends) can be imported automatically. Photoshop applies a consistent style (colors, fonts, logos) to all charts. Images are exported ready-to-use for the website without manual tweaking.   Has anyone implemented something similar for dynamic data-driven visuals? Are there recommended tools, scripts, or approaches in Photoshop to make this efficient? Any tips on automating charts for frequent updates while maintaining high v

I wanted to know some things about Adobe Firefly. 1. I want to take three subscriptions of Adobe Firefly (Standard, Pro, and Premium). I have given screenshots. 2. I don't see a personal option in Firefly. So how can I make my videos completely personal? 3. Can the images that can be created from Firefly be sold on Adobe Stock? 4. My other question is – my Adobe Firefly account is opened with one email, and my Adobe Stock account is opened with another email. Both accounts are opened in the names of both. Will there be any problem with this? It would be helpful if you could clarify a little. Thank you 🙏

Lightroom Classic issue after Mac OS Updates: Software: Lightroom ClassicOS: Mac OS Sequoia 15Issue: Catalog freezing; Sync would not progress; Upon import, could not locate/existing Collections not displaying; endless/frozen Optimize Catalog I've been having issues with LrClassic ever since the big Mac OS and Adobe updates in October 2024. Here are the issues I'm running into lately!  1 - Catalog Freezing: When I open LrClassic, it freezes for 2-3 minutes completely before I can do anything. Once it is unfrozen, if I want to import images to my catalog, I cannot add anything to existing collections (they do not display, the list is empty). 2 - Sync does not progress:Sync is just stuck spinning, nothing syncs.  3 - Optimize Catalog does not work:If I try to optimize the catalog, it sits infinitely and I have to force quit Lightroom.  I spent 4 hours on the phone with Adobe, and they got it working once we copied my catalog into a new catalog. And then Mac
