When in Library view, after filtering images, e.g., by a particular keyword, I need to sort the results by the name of the folder that each image is in. However, sort by folder name is not available in the pull-down menu.

When I create a custom code theme via Edit->Preferences->Interface it doesn't appear in the box so I can't edit it. It does seem to exist somewhere though, because If I try to make another custom themee with the same name it tells me it already exits. Is there any way to make the theme appear so that I can actually use it?

Hello everyone,I am developing a prepress automation script in Illustrator. The goal is to generate a color control bar that includes only the actual ink separations used in the document. Specifically, I want to include:Pure CMYK channels (for example, Cyan 100, Magenta 0, Yellow 0, Black 0)Spot Colors (Pantone or any user-defined spot)However, I do not want to include:Blended swatches or decorative color combinationsColors made by mixing CMYK values (unless they are 100 percent of one channel)The problem is that Illustrator scripting does not seem to provide access to the same ink separation information shown in the Separations Preview panel. When I scan all page items and analyze fill and stroke colors, I end up collecting mixed colors that are not true separations. I also tried using doc.printPreferences.inkList, but that returns undefined in my version of Illustrator. My question is: has anyone found a reliable way to extract only the real separations used for printing, just like wh

Suddenly I am not able to select and copy any text from any PDF document, whether from a PDF I have created that contains renderable text, or from a scan that I have used text recognition on. All I get is a hand symbol. None of the documents are protected. It worked a few days ago! I use Windows 10, have Adobe Acrobat Standard 2015.

I want to delete a bunch of GREP queries from my Find/Change list. But when I select a GREP item and click on the 'garbage' icon nothing happens. I often use GREP queries to clean up Word files before making them into books. I've had no problem until I upgraded to version 20.2.  Now, searching all the Adobe folders on my HD, I can't find one containing the old 'Q' queries.

I'm supposed to be able to craete a comp and double-click the sunburst effect to add it to a comp but it does not work. I get an expression error. If I knew more about expressions I might be able to sleuth it out, but alas...

Hey everyone,I thought it would be fun and hopefully useful to start a little challenge here. I recently had a video rejected for “Quality Reasons,” but when I reviewed the file, I couldn’t spot the issues mentioned in the rejection notice. The reviewer’s possible reasons were:Unintentional shaking (The camera is completely steady and doesn’t move)Empty black or white frames (none that I can find)Compression or audio problems (there’s no audio at all) So here’s the challenge: can anyone actually spot a quality issue in this video? If yes, please explain what you see.

I was trying to insert a paragraph of Chinese text vertically in Photoshop, and it contains some Arabic numbers. When I use Standard Vertical Roman Alignment (標準垂直羅馬字對齊方式), two lines of text aligned very well. ("十" is a Chinese character, and line leading was reduced for easier comparsion between two lines.) However, since I don't want a two-digit number taking two full-width character's height, I used tate‑chu‑yoko (直排內橫排) for two-digit numbers. As you can see in the screenshot, the characters after the Arabic number did not align with characters in other lines, meaning extra spacing somehow appeared after the number.  Not all fonts are having this problem, but still quite a number of fonts I use are having this problem. I googled a bit and someone suggest that this was caused by the verticle height parameter of the font used, but I just wonder why the height of the numbers are correct when I use Standard Vertical Roman Alignment, but not tate‑ch

Hi I'm trying to write a plugin with UXP developer tools for Photoshop, but I'm getting stuck with the debugging. I've got a lot of debugging info written to console.log() and in UXP developer tools. If I click debug and bring up the console, I can see there are a number of console messages, but I can't read them because they are hidden. I can't figure out how to get them to display. I've tried clicking all inside  the side panel. If i hover over levels it says controlled by sidebar, but when i collapse sidebar still nothing showsIm pulling what's left of my hair out lol

Hi,  EveryoneI have a question regarding contributor accounts and using them on the same computer. I currently have an active contributor account that I regularly use on my personal PC. Now, my wife is interested in creating her own contributor account and intends to use the same PC for her activities. Her setup would include: A separate email address A different browser profile (but still on the same machine)   Given this situation, I would like to know the following: Is it allowed for two different individuals to operate separate contributor accounts from the same physical device? Are there any policies or restrictions we should be aware of regarding multiple accounts on a single computer? Would there be any risk of account suspension or any sort of violation if she creates and uses her account on the same PC? Is it possible for both accounts to remain logged in simultaneously (using different browser profiles)? Or should we be careful to log out of one before using

I have Photoshop Elements 2020 and recently I noticed that many of my saved photos have duplicates. Is there a command that would do a mass delete of duplicate photos?

[19.1.6 Release] [macOS 10.13.6]When dragging a tab out it opens a window on the primary workspace as shown in the picture below:But when I drag the Crescent Moon file to the workspace in the middle. The window automatically hides. This is quite annoying because I have use cmd+` to bring back the window. So is there a way to leave the floating tab/window open after dragging or clicking on the the main workspace? I previously used Photoshop on Windows 10 and this wasn't an issue. I believe there must be setting somewhere but I can't seem to find it.Thanks!

Since updating to Photoshop version 26.9.0 after selecting a crop format I have to pull down the crop boundaries on the image each time. Before the update just clicking the image would reveal the selectedcrop boundaries and then you adjust. How do I get it back to the one click crop setup, I am sure I have a setting wrong.

Happy New Year! I have a colour issue: it seems that Fresco does not save recent colours across all my projects and I did not expect that. I've opened Adobe Color to create my colour library there: how do I access it from Fresco? Thanks in advance! [Renamed by Mod]
