Solved

Hello, I have a problem installing Photoshop. When I run the installer, even as an administrator, the installer is not displayed and I cannot continue the installation. What should I do about it?

When I click on Packages on inDesign 20.2 it is nearly full screen width. How do I get it back to normal size? I have tried everything.Thanks. Barry

Update:This question is no longer relivant because I based my initial test off of a prerendered clip. I am using a 5 year old build that I recently upgraded to Win 11 and Adobe CC 2025.Issue is timeline scrubbing/playback.specs:Threadripper 2950X (usage is 50% during playback)64GB DDR4 3000Samsung Pro NVMe 2TB (scratch)WD NVMe C: (program install)Old GPU: 1080TiNew GPU: 5070Ti (usage is 40% during playback) I started using MOGRT's for automated effects like light leaks, motion, blur etc...  My old GPU would peg at 100% trying to review/scrub in the timeline and I was getting 1 frame per 5 seconds... unusable.  So I bought a 5070Ti.  When I installed it and the drivers, that day I found that my timeline scrubbing (same project) was SO SMOOTH I could scrub super fast.  No lag at all!  Zero.  And I never ever do any prerendering like render and replace or anything.  When I encoded this 5 minute sequence, what used to take 4.5 hours now took 5 m

bonjour peux-t-on modifier la date du prélévement adobe pro, si oui comment procéder merci

What’s the easiest/best way to keep track of who receives the photos I share, and which photos are being shared? I plan to be sharing lots of photos soon and I can't rely on my memory, so I have to ask around. I appreciate all useful suggestions.

Hello, Editing is my full time job and since the v25 it's becoming a hell, i'm even seriously considering moving to Davinci because it's simply starting to be very annoying. The problem is happening on Playback and can occur in many tasks (randomly but very often), for example i'm about to to extend my text block, the software litteraly freezes, and it freeze all my windows not only PR. It takes around 5 to 10 secs and then i get a black screen, no more playback image  when i hit space, only sound playing, so i'm forced to restart PR.It also happens when i'm just scrolling/hovering or when i simply hit space to play my timeline. - I have on Windows 11 24h2,  i9 14900k, 64gb DDR5, RTX 3060ti. Everything is up to date.- I work on 1080x1920 videos mostly, but also 2k & 4k.- I use proxy (Proress) but it's even worse sometimes because there's a delay of around 2secs everytime i hit Space.- I also playback on 1/8 , 1/4 still get the freezes. And now i'm lost, i have no

Hello,  I am fairly new to Photoshop and i am still learning how to use the tools on the left hand side of the program. When i started, the rich tool tips videos have been helpful in explaining what certain tools does etc etc but recently I have realised that they no longer pop up on my screen. i have tried checking the Rich Tool Tips box on Settings > Tools but it still does not come up like it used to. Any help would be much appreciated.  MacOS Sequioa 15.5Photoshop 26.9.0 release

Merci

Hi,I'm trying to add new XMP metadata on active document in InDesign CC2018 and it doesn't work.If I run my code on a closed indesign file, it works. What's wrong ? We could update metadata on active document, couldn't we  ?Here is my code :// load XMP Libraryfunction loadXMPLibrary(){    if ( ExternalObject.AdobeXMPScript){        try{ExternalObject.AdobeXMPScript = new ExternalObject('lib:AdobeXMPScript');}        catch (e){alert('Unable to load the AdobeXMPScript library!'); return false;}    }    return true;}var myFile= app.activeDocument.fullName;// check library and fileif(loadXMPLibrary() && myFile != null){   xmpFile = new XMPFile(myFile.fsName, XMPConst.FILE_INDESIGN, XMPConst.OPEN_FOR_UPDATE);     var myXmp = xmpFile.getXMP();}if(myXmp){    var destNamespace = "myNamespace";    // define new name

What difference, if any, is there between the Output Path and the Destination Path in RH2022? Thank you,Lon

I don't like visual noise, so I want to disable the welcome screen. I found this post which outlines an addition to the maker.ini file to disable the welcome screen. But it doesn't seem to be working: every time I open FrameMaker, the Welcome Screen is displayed. Even when I double-click a .fm file to open Frame, an extra tab is added for the welcome screen. Preferences->Global->General contains a setting "show tabbed welcome screen". I've unchecked this, but the next time I start Frame this preference is checked again. I cannot emphasize this enough: I don't use the welcome screen. I don't want to see the welcome screen.FM version 16.0.0.754

I can't see the anything like classic gradient and also i can't find gradient annotator

Hi! I often apply for art grants, and in these application I struggle with photos and sizes of files. I have photos in JPG format, often very large, high quality (could be 10-30 MB). The application for a grant often require things such as: "Text + application PDF form + your photos must all be in 1 (one) PDF file, which is maximum 10 MB or 20 MB" I have the basic plan with Photoshop (not adobe acrobat PDF). It is so hard to put together perhaps 10 photos of artworks that are large, high quality JPG files, and make it all fit in one PDF to be under 10 or 20 MB. What I do, is to go into photoshop and reduce the size (pixels) and resolution PPI in photoshop, to make the JPG photo smaller. How can I do this better in photoshop without loosing quality in the photos of the artworks? Thank you so much in advance 🙂

I asked about this a while back and someone said it could be done by scripting, but I could not write a script if my life depended on it, and while i do have a friend who has done this, his script is hanging and also costs money, which I am short on now:The challenge:Replacing Adobe's boring FN separator ( a line) with a graphic object or a formatted text like "These are my footnotes". Anyone want to take a shot at it?All I can contribute is that I see the ones who are selling the solution say to create a textbox and give it a name in the layer panel (I guess to tell the script what to use for the custom divider).I asked ChatGPT, and its solution doesn't work.Any ideas?Thank you, and have a good day!Susan Flamingo
