Hi everyone,I created an animation using shape hints to control how the shape tween should behave. It worked fine at first, but then I wanted to move the animation to a different position. To do that, I usually convert the layers into a symbol. However, when I did that, the shape hints got messed up. They stopped working properly, and when I checked inside the symbol, I saw that the hints had moved out of place—some even ended up outside the stage.Since converting to a symbol didn’t work, I tried moving the animation by selecting everything and using Edit Multiple Frames. But I had the same issue. Even worse, when I try to redo the shape hints, they don’t behave like they should anymore… something feels off.It seems like shape hints only work properly the first time—after that, everything goes wrong.Does anyone know how to preserve shape hints when converting layers to a symbol or moving an animation around the stage? Any tips or workarounds would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance

Hello! First time posting in this forum so apologies if I'm missing anything to provide a helpful discussion. I'm working on a balloon head made out of individual Xs which are all in individual layers. Since there's quite a few layers, I was hoping to somehow connect the position of each X to a null object in it's center that would converge/diverge to simulate the balloon popping. Additionally, the artwork is not symetrical, so I don't believe I would be able to use mirror effects to achieve what I'd like. My first thought was to create an expression with the position of each X related to the null object's scale, so that they would hopefully radiate out in different directions based on their starting position in relation to the null. I'm struggling to know where to begin in writing an expression for these properties. Potentially using the difference in scale to move the position by a certain factor, but I'm unsure how to make a universal expression to move the Xs omnidir

After the latest Adobe update, my craft keyboard crown functionality has stopped working on all of the apps. Does anybody have any solutions that they've tried that actually worked? Logitech hasn't mentioned when they might be able to fix it.

I'm turning a 300+ page book with over 700 Endnotes into a Reflowable Epub. After having ID crash repeatedly during export, I found an extensive list of posts on this board pointing to Endnotes as the problem. Unfortunately, I had already converted all 700+ footnotes to endnotes because the footnotes weren't superscripting all the numbers correctly during export—leaving some of them not superscripted, which looked pretty messy. However, the only real solution that folks came up with was to convert the endnotes back to footnotes. Rather than convert all my endnotes back to footnotes, I exported each chapter to Reflowable Epub separately, finding that Chapter 4 was the only one that caused InDesign to freeze. I converted that chapter back to footnotes and it exported fine, even though the numbers were messy, so I left that one chapter as footnotes (changed to endnotes during export) and the whole book exported correctly. I hope this helps others to troubleshoot ID boo

We recently upgraded our Adobe Acrobat licenses to an Enterprise account and are trying to apply least privilege access.  The minimum role needed for a help desk member to manage users is "User Group Admin", but this group still allows its members to assign this role to other members.   This seems counter-intuitive to allow user managers to be able to delegate the same role to as many other people as they wish.  Shouldn't assigning role membership be limited to the System Admin role? Also, any possibility of allowing System Admins to create custom roles with granular permissions and the ability to turn off notifications for role changes? For reference see this document: Administrative roles

I've been using the enhance speech for a few weeks now but suddenly today it's just not working. After uploading my WAV file (not huge by any means, around 10 minutes long as it usually is), it just hangs and after a while, my audio file disappears and it just reverts back to the original blank state.  Why is this happening? Is the premium access service not capable of handling its current userbase?

Hi Guys. I want to buy a new laptop for photo editing and video editing. I have some good options lined up. The laptop I am leaning towards is Lenovo Ideapad Y700 because it is within my price range. But the screen resolution is 1920x1080. I understand that 4k displays have more pixels than fhd and tend to produce sharper images. But I want to know if the fhd will be enough for me. Does the 1920x1080 screen have any limitation or drawback? Is there something I can't do with fhd laptops that I can do with 4k displays? Also I understand colors seen on some screens is not the same as the colors that appears on prints? Are the colors seen on 1920x1080 screens similar to what I'll see in prints? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I am a longtime user of both LRC and PS.  I am setting up a new laptop and have downloaded the latest versions of both softwares on the new laptop, LRC 14.3 and PS 26.6.  LRC will not allow me to set my Photoshop version, it is greyed out in Preferences, external Editing.  If I don't run Photoshop, It shows nothing, If I run PS it gives the message "detected that Adobe Photoshop 2025 is running" but will not let me select a version.I have uninstalled, reinstalled, both software in different order.  I've tried to install older verions of the software and still not allowing me to set this up.  I've read numerious post on similar situations and have tried most of them but still not working. The only other potential issue is my last laptop was a Surface Laptop running the intel chip and the new on is the Surface Laptop 7 running the Snapdragon X 12-core ARM chip, and Windows 11.  Adobe says Lightroom and Photoshop work with the ARM chip but not other Adobe soft

On a Mac, if you hold down a letter a contextual menu appears above it with the various accent glyphs:It's very handy when you work in languages that require them. Unfortunately, it seem to work everywhere except in Adobe software. If you hold down "a", you get aaaaaaaaaaa instead of that menu. I know about keyboard mapping, the glyph panel and Option-shortcuts --- what I'm trying to find out is if there's a way to activate that pop-up menu. It's really, really handy.

I’m writing as a current Premium subscriber to report several frustrating issues I’ve been encountering while trying to complete a time-sensitive flyer design project. Most urgently, I’m unable to download my finished flyer because I’m receiving a vague error stating that the project includes an asset I’m “not licensed to use.” Unfortunately, the app doesn’t specify which asset is the issue, nor does it highlight or identify it in the design. I’ve checked all visible elements and they are all very basic shapes — squares, circles, etc. — most of which were part of the original template I selected from Adobe’s own library. As a paying user, this lack of clarity and functionality is incredibly frustrating, especially when under a deadline. In addition, I’ve encountered the following usability issues that have made the design process more difficult than it should be:The zoom function does not allow for manually entering a zoom percentage. When selecting an image or design element, the side me

Hi,I have this problem only on my desktop where texts from my dialog box and toolbar are missing. When i tried to troubleshoot by opening the preference option under edit my adobe also crashes without any error message. Below are 2 images that shows this bug. I tried downloading the cleaner which removes all related adobe files as well as downloading a new adobe reader program from the official website but this problem still persist. Therefore, i hope to find a solution to this problem as i do need this urgently to study for my upcoming test and exams. Hope anyone have a workable solution for this problem.Regards.P.S : I have tried the following solution that is already in the forum but however the problem is still not solved.1. I tried downloading the cleaner, run it and when it's cleaning the reader half way, the cleaner just hangs and refuses to complete the task even though the reader is actually deleted so i assumed they did not fully clean out the registry that contains the adobe

Attempting to run any action from applescript or javascript is always resulting in Illustrator 2021 or 2022 immediately crashing for me.I've tried on multiple computers, and running it on a fresh install of AI 2022 with no settings changed. It doesn't matter which Action Set is used, I've tried the included "Default Actions." The identical scripts work fine from AI CC2020 back to at least AI CS6.For example, I can copy and paste this stright from Adobe's ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CC SCRIPTING REFERENCE: APPLESCRIPT: tell application "Adobe Illustrator"do script "Opacity 60 (selection)" from "Default Actions" without dialogsend tell Make a new Illustrator document and run it, and AI instantly freezes and stays frozen indefinitely. It needs to be force quit. Running this or any other action from any action set by selecting it in the Actions palette and clicking the "play" button works as expected. Using the equivalent javascript-app.doScript ("Opacity 60 (selection)"

In the bottom right of this photo, there is neon purple color that is shining on the otherwise golden architecture of the inside of this hotel (Mariot Marquis hotel in Atlanta, GA). I want to get rid of the purple and replace it with the same color pixels as the rest (orange/gold). I am not sure what tool to use. I tried the healing brush but it changes the pixels and not just the color! And desaturating purple just leaves an unappealing white blob. Please help!

Hello community, has anyone the same problem as me? When I create new document in InDesign for web, application opens 4 new documents with the same name (for example "unnamed-1") and size. It happens when the box "preview" is checked. once you uncheck the box, InDesign suddenly creates the file "unnamed-5".

Hi, Sometimes the audio waveform just does not show up even thoug there is audio...I tried selcting the tracks, muting, unmuting, nothing seems to work. How to fix?

Dear Adobe Support Team, I am experiencing an issue with the AI Assistant button in Adobe Acrobat on my iPad (10th Gen). Despite disabling the feature from the Preferences menu, the AI button continues to appear and hovers over the document, obstructing the content. Additionally, when switching to full-screen mode, the AI Assistant button remains on top of the document, making it difficult to read or annotate properly. This issue persists even after restarting the app, making it quite frustrating to work with. I would appreciate any guidance on how to permanently remove or hide the AI Assistant button. Is this a known issue, and are there any planned fixes for this? Looking forward to your response. Best regards,Bhaskar

Hello,I've been trying to copy a table from a pdf file, but I can only highlight and select the table text (instead of selecting a blue square around it). When I right-click on it, the only copy option that appears is "Copy", and I can't seem to copy with formatting. I've tried on Mac and Windows and haven't been able to find a solution. How can I solve this?
