Solved

I can see thumbnail and play video with Media Player in Windows 11. In Photoshop Elements 11 the thumbnail is blank and cannot be played. Do I need another codec? If so how do I find out which?I am almost certain I did not have the problem in Windows 10.I tried playing the files in Quick Time in Windows, but that also does not work.

I am noticing lately that many posts/threads that I follow on the Adobe Community website (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator ecosystems) have been removed. When I click on a link from Google or from an email I’ve received from Adobe regarding a new post to a topic I follow, it just sends me to this Welcome page (https://community.adobe.com/community#M131238) and there is no way to access the thread. Why is Adobe removing community posts, isn’t the purpose of this site to help and get help from other users? This thread in general is one that I am following, as it is a recent Ps bug that has not yet been fixed, and the link just goes to the welcome page: https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.adobe.com%2Ft5%2Fphotoshop-ecosystem-bugs%2Fp-ps-27-1-launch-error-could-not-apply-the-saved-panel-configuration-resetting-to-default%2Fidc-p%2F15662958%23M131238&data=05%7C02%7CTLANGSTON%40BJMWEB.COM%7Cdaa3bf90065544cbdfc708de5372224f%7Cda061965b74247039a5df3

i was trying to check my gmail account

I used the customer service online chat for help with a Photoshop issue earlier today and feel like my security has been compromised. I got put through to an agent who exited the chat within a minute of it starting. I then got a call from an American number (‭+1 (408) 606-3892‬) saying she was from Adobe and we had been cut off. Only thing is I never gave the chat agent my number? And when I google this number it comes up with a scam Adobe call? I started another chat immediately and got put through to someone else, and moments later as we were chatting got another call, this time from a London number (‭020 7365 5358‬). I’m based in the UK but again this number doesn’t come up with anything when I google it. This is extremely unusual for me to get two calls from two random (and different) unknown numbers, and when I asked the chat agent if he was calling me he said no, he didn’t have my number and that it was probably the previous chat person calling me. But if he didn’t have my number

In full screen mode > and when image is fit to screen > and you go to crop the image.  If you drag the crop tool a little bit too far, the image flies off screen, out of sight, in the opposite direction.  same with the selection tool.  If you drag any tool a little bit off screen it pushes the image off screen in the opposite direction.   This has always been driving me crazy.   In earlier versions of photoshop (1990s) the image did not go off screen.  Is there a way to lock the image position or prevent photoshop from being able to send it out of sight?

I have these individual elements I want to animate sliding in without overlapping on each other, like they’ve been grouped together and dragged in. How can I accomplish that?

Hello, I just downloaded Adobe Photoshop 2021, was working on a photo, successfully, and now I don’t know how to save my file or how to give it a new name.  Can anybody help?

Want to remove the green leaf by stamping. But instead of precise stamping it’s creating some pattern.

Hello,   I am creating 300+ icons and when I export them for screens there is always an extra pixel. Ex. they are supposed to be 24x24 but they save as 25x24.   I have tried multiple trouble shooting techniques that I have read in forums but nothing I have tried seems to work.   Has anyone found a solution to this?   THANKS!   {Renamed by MOD}

I haven't used PS much the past couple of years. But I was trying to re-edit an old star stack. When I go to Merge Visible or Flatten Image, it makes the image foggy and brighter. I don't think I am doing anything wrong as I have done this many times in the past, but maybe there have been changes I haven't been aware of or maybe it's my MacBook Pro M1Silicone 26.3 I uninstalled and reinstalled, and same deal. DO I need an older version or did Adobe break something in their code? Even Command/Option/Shift/E didn’t work. Any help would be nice as It won’t save (it’s stuck at 98%).

I need some help. When I upload photos to lrc and I'm in develop mode, when I move on to the next photo,it displays normally, but after two seconds it becomes darker than the original shot. What could be causing this?Or what am I doing wrong?

I have turned on use graphics processor, I have tried to delete the camera raw cache, my windows ARM computer still uses CPU instead of the GPU or NPU resulting in incredibly long AI denoise times, is there any fix or expected update where this might be addressed,

When creating a Smart Album in LrD with multiple criteria, matching "All" criteria is the only option, with no option for "Any" criteria.  When looking at the online help, this is one of the steps listed to create a Smart Album:“Choose whether to match all or any of the criteria.”

I continue to receive emailed notifications when a new post is made on the community pages.  I only want notification if someone replies to my posts which isn't happening.  How do i turn off notifications?

I have signed up for a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro.I am trying to turn my PDFs into a fillable form that anyone with access can download and simply fill in text fields with their answers. However, it seems that there is no option under "tools" to prepare a form. I've looked up multiple tutorials, and all of them tell me to look under tools, then choose "Prepare Form". Yet that option or nothing similar even appears. The closest thing I have to creating a form is a web form, which is not what I want. Is anyone aware on how to find this option or if there is a new way to add fillable text to your PDF for others to fill out?

As an Assistant Editor, I have to make EDLs of archival footage/stills/audio used in our sequences. I’ve been exporting the sequence (from our Production) as a Premiere Project, Generate Source Clips, then deleting source clips unrelated to archival (ex. production footage and audio). I then use Simplify Sequence and Flatten all multicam sequences. However, for some reason, the multicam audio remains in the sequence, even when the multicam sequences are completely empty. Is there a way to remove all empty multicam audio clips? Or flatten multicam audio (if it’s empty, it’d flatten to nothing)?

Somehow, I created this transparent editable text layer but I can’t remember what I did or where I learned this, so I am hoping some experts can help. All text is editable. Nothing is masked and nothing is grouped. When click, both layers appear as a compound shape in the transparency panel. Blending is normal. Opacity 100%.

MacBook Air M1macOS Sonoma 14.6.1Adobe Illustrator 2026

I have unclicked the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" every time I use acrobat. I always click ok afterward. I close the program, restart my computer, yet the box is checked again. What is the fix for this?
