Solved

Hi,I've been trying to apply the drop shadow effect onto a piece of text but it's just not showing up on the project screen. However when I scroll on the parameters of the drop shadow effect, I can see the drop shadow "preview" but as soon as I let go of scrolling it disappears... I'm working on the latest version of Premiere Pro on Windows 10. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Good morning!  When I use Adobe on my computer, documents open in Adobe PRO and I have all the tools available to me, like edit and combining files.  But, when I am using my laptop, documents open in adobe reader and I do not have the same use of the tools.  There is no edit or combine files (amoung others) tools available for me to use.

Can Adobe Firefly carry forward the remaining credits to next month?

I cannot seem to figure out how to get my keyboard shortcuts from my old computer to my new computer. I was using photoshop 2024 on my old computer as well as my new one. I have saved the .kys file but for the life of me cannot get it to load in photoshop. I've migrated my settings to many new computers over the years but for some reason cannot get it to work this time!

My Premiere Rush keeps showing the message 'An error occurred while downloading from the Adobe Stock server' whenever I try to add graphics. I’ve checked and the software is currently version 2.10. What could be causing this issue?

I have an existing Adobe Pro License on my account, but when I download Adobe Acrobat to my computer, most editing tools are greyed out. I have verified this with multiple files and verified I am not in Adobe Reader. I also downloaded the Adobe Licencing Checker to see if my license had expired, which it has not.

When I go to the edit tab to select sky replacement, it is not showing up. Why is this?

Until now, when I selected several elements with different positions on the Z-axis, the Z-axis position of the copied elements would correspond to that of the original elements. Example: If I alt-dragged one element that was in front and one that was behind a third element, the copied elements would also be infront and behind. Now, as soon as I alt-drag several elements, they all end up in front of the uppermost of the original elements. Is this a bug or has this been an intentional change to something I find much worse? It is really annoying that I now loose all depth information as soon as I alt-drag more than one element, and it really messes up my workflow. Is there a way to change this back?

Hi, I've been using Photoshop fore more than six years now for drawing. One feature I use a lot is to hit Delete on my keyboard to clear a layer's content without deleting the layer itself. Or, rather, I should say I used to do this, because the same key now deletes the layer, unless I select All (Ctrl+A) then Backspace/Delete, then again Deselect (Ctrl+D). This is very annoying. Now, I tried everything I could to try and revert it back to what it once was: uninstalled Photoshop, tried older versions, newer ones, tried setting Delete as the Clear shortcut (Delete/Backspace can't be used for shortcuts, so no, didn't work). At some point, I even got a weirder bug where Delete filled my selections with my seconday color. Yes, I'm doing this on a raster layer that is not a background layer. Yes, I've created an auto-action that does this. No, I don't want to settle for this solution if reverting back to the old way Delete was working is possible. Excuse my ton

Hi!  I'm new to indesign and trying to use data merge (multiple records feature). All the information from my excel sheet is transferred correctly, however even with margins at zero everything is shifted slightly down and to the right.  My master page has a margin of .15 and I have a bleed of .125 all around, and what happens is the top left corner of my design, which is normally on the top left corner of the bleed, shifts down to the top left corner of the canvas. This is also how it shows up on preview. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello Community!Does anyone know if it is possible to review an Acrobat document without the reviewer having to do it through the Adobe Cloud and how to do it?There are setting options for the document owner to not store in the Cloud, but I don't know what is the BKM for the reviewers to access it directly where it is stored to without their Adobe Cloud account. Than you!!

Another oddity since the update 29.7.1 - Mac OS Ventura 13.7.7When rotating simple vectors, these ghost elements start randomly appearing. See in this example, the light teal bar was rotating but left odd shards in its path. They vanish after deselecting.

Hey there! I just entered grad school, and got a new Adobe License becuase of that. The license from my undergrad is about to expire but I want to save the files I made from then. How can I log into my new account and save my files from my old account? Any help would be great!

I have been racking my mind for hours trying to figure this out. I used various Open Ai sources to no avail too. Please refer to the screenshot above: You see, when I type the address, the number portion of the address automatically places itself at the end of the sentence. No matter what I did, even making a new paragraph style did not work. In one of the online solutions I was following, I turned on number only to find out that this too only appeared on the right hand side of the composition. Any punctuation marks I made then shows up to the left. I checked the indent tab, I looked for invisible elements, under character, I changed the language from Hebrew to English USA, and countless other things and I am at my wits end. Hopefully someone here knows the answer and can help me to solve this. Thank you so much in advance!

Why does the column sort order change in the project panel when opening new bin views or changing the schema. I have read the "save a workspace" stuff. That is not reliable nor useful..Additionally when opening different schemas I need the column order I set for that metadata display to repeat exactly as I had originally ordered it. No matter the workspace, the number of bins, etc.It is a complete waste of time to have to re-sort every time I change a schema. This is a very logical (almost inherent in the whole concept of schemas)Thoughts?

Hello. I've just found what appears to be a bug, or at least some strange functionality. When you create a smart object from a single layer, then distort it via Transform, then attempt to Convert to Layers, the smart object simply becomes rasterized. I'm not sure if there is a now hidden pop up menu that I toggled "Do Not Show Again" on, or if this is actually intended, but I would expect it to remove the Smart Object's transformation, and then convert it to its original layers. By rasterizing it, the layer's mask, blending options, etc. are all lost, so I have to Reset Transform, then Convert to Layers. Strangely enough this only happens when the smart object is a single layer. If there is any other than a single layer (e.g. it is in a group, there are multiple layers, there is an adjustment layer, etc.) the Convert to Layers works as expected. This does interrupt my workflow, since I tend to make text/verbiage in Illustrator, bring it into Photoshop via Smart Objects,

I have a few users whose button is missing.  Not in tools. They have Acrobat w/ Sign services assigned to their account. They can login to their Sign account via browser and it works fine, just not the desktop app itself. Adobe had me uninstall/clean/reinstall.  No change. I've seen a few other posts here going back a year and nobody able to find a fix.  Did I miss something?

I have an adjustment layer that I want to change the motion parameters of it through automation blocks.  I want the position stay the same (640, 360) but have a keyframe at the beginning, scale set to 25 and have keyframe at the beginning as well.  Also is there a way to "uncheck" uniform scale?  Attached is an example from my user library that I want to add these keyframed motion parameters to, as well as what I am looking to for in the effects controls. thanks

Hi everybody - I teach in a computer lab with multiple students using the same desktop throughout the day., each logging in with their unique user profile to the machine and their own CC account. I have a new student who speaks absolutely no English, and after following the directions to switch his CC language preference to Spanish and reinstalling Photoshop, he can now use the app in Spanish. However - every student who sits down after him is also forced to use Spanish. In the Ps Preferences under Interface, there is an option to select a language - but there's always just one option, whichever option the app is installed in! Is there ANY way for the student to select which language they want to use on the machine? It seems like at a minimum this should be possible since each student is using their own unique computer login. I tried to install multiple instances of Photoshop, and that doesn't seem to work either? Any advice is appreciated!

I've been trying to export this video for the past week and a half now and I just can't seem to be able to because I keep getting this message. It always pops up around 70%-80% export completion. It's a roughly 20-25min video and I've never had problems exporting videos of that length. I'm currently exporting a 5min video just to see if it's an issue with those files or not. I've tried everything I can think of. I made space on my MacBook Air, I have 119.86GB of space avalaible. On my Seagate Ultra Touch I have 765GB of space. I reset my preferences in Premier Pro. Not sure what else to do besides maybe re-edit this video from scratch. Also, when I'm exporting Premier takes up around 46GB of memory when I check my activity monitor. Is that a normal amount or is that too high? As I'm typing this the 5min test video is only taking up 3.85 GB, granted I know shorter video means shorter memory but still.Anyways, does anyone have any solutions for this problem I'm experiencing? I'll ap

I have the same issue. I've re-install pts but still doesn't work. Please help me.

This morning I opened an important .psd file and on the right side of the Title Bar, inside the parenthesis which normally says, after the filename, something like (RGB/8), it now says (Quick Mask/8)Here's an image of the Title Bar with the "Quick Mask" indication: (CHURCH SUPPER is the name of a layer)Here's an image of the Title Bar of a file the way it usually appears, without the "Quick Mask" indication:This Quick Mask problem makes the file impossible to work with in the ways I normally work with it. For example, it is now impossible to import a .jpg or other image file into the WEBSITE WORKING.PSD file. What's going on here, and how do I get my file back without the Quick Mask? As you may guess from the file's name, it is extremely important to me, and this Quick Mask problem makes the file unworkable.I have CS2, which is version 9 of Photoshop.
