Hi. Using ID 20.5 under Windows 11.Three days ago, ID was updated automatically to 20.5. Today I opened a set of book files created under the immediate previous version (20.41, I believe, but it might have been a version earlier; I usually update right away). In one of the files, previously, I had changed a head that was cross-referenced earlier in the same file. That is, on p15 the cross-reference refers to a head on p22, but the head on p22 had been changed (and the file saved) without updating the Xref prior to saving. Today, under 20.5, I open the file and notice that the reference to the head on p22 is red. Why, I must have neglected to update it! I will fix that, I think.I go to the reference citation on p15 and select it in the Cross-Reference panel.1st try) I double-click the reference to update it. ID tries to open the Xref panel and crashes. I reopen the app and the book. I have seen this story before with cross-references the last couple of times Adobe has updated

   At my office, on my PC's acrobat when I select "Edit" acrobat will show me all the existing dialogue that I can edit within its own generated text boxes however when I select the "Add Text" function all of those boxes disappear allowing me to freely create my text anywhere on the document. I am trying to locate the setting(s)/Preference(s) that allows my PC's acrobat to have that functionality so I may replicate the settings on a coworkers computer as when I go through the same setup as above the text boxes do not disappear.

Hey everybody.Just encountered a problem. When I start playing a sequence, there are some frames drop in the beginning of playback. I tried putting several files in a sequence, r3d 5k, braw 4k, h264 4k and fullhd, all of them start with chopping playback and smth like 1-3 seconds after everything plays smooth. In the end I made a sequence with only audio file, and there I had the same result - 7-15 frames dropped, started with chopping and after that played good. Tried to play the same files in DaVinci -- everything is perfect. I tried to reset the Premiere settings, reinstalled the program, set power management mode to Best performance - nothing helped. My laptop: core i5-13500H 2,6Ghz, 24GB RAM, RTX 4050 Laptop, but I'm sure it's not because of it. My desktop PC is a way worse, but I don't have such problem there. Thanks in advance for every reply!

Hi everybody, I just bought a new Macbookpro m4, 24gb and facing problem with the scrolling. It is not smooth anymore, kind of jerky. The rest of the system works very well so i am sure it is not a "slowness problem". Second one, the tutorial images apparear all the time when putting the mouse on the diferent modifications modes. Pretty annoying... Do you guys faced the same issues? Thanks a lot.

Footage shot on an Sony a7iii. Auto-detect does not read the log footage so I am trying to apply a manual override. However there is no option for the s-log2 gamma with the s-gamut3.cine colour space. The only available options for Sony are: Sony S-Log/S-Gamut (new)Sony S-Log2/S-Gamut (new)Sony S-Log3/S-Gamut3 (new)Sony S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine (new) Trying to determine which option would be best to use? Or if I am better off applying a LUT instead? Additionally, is there a way to choose slog-2 as the input gamma & s-gamut3.cine as the input colour space separately? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to show a text field if the words "accrued dividends" are typed into another text field.  To complicate things, the words "accrued divedends" could be typed into one of 33 different text fields.  The 33 text fields are named B1, B2, B3...B33.  Thanks.

I can't find the size settings.https://www.indesignjs.de/extendscriptAPI/indesign-latest/#ObjectStyle.html //Creat AA ObjectStyle var wn = [AA]; for (var i = 0; i < wn.length; i++) { w = newObjStyle(app.activeDocument, wn[i], emptyStyle); }; I want to set image size, frame,fit content proportionally, position objects,  wrap text in the script.Like this:

While using the brush tool in Photoshop I hold the option key to activate the eye dropper tool, but when I select the color I want to use it is putting it as the bottom color vs the top. So in order to use the color I need to flip the colors. It never used to do this. I am in v 26.9 of PS. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I installed the 25.11 version of Photoshop last week. The generative fill should have the option in the 3 dot menu for variations to "generate similar". I only get good, bad or report. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no effect. I'm working on an iMac with Sonoma 14.5. When I installed the update, Adobe indicated that my system was compatible. Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.

I have been dealing with this issue all day and have yet to find a solution.  Anytime I try to play video (either in the preview window or the timeline) it stutters no matter what file format that I'm using.  So far I've tried clearing my cache, reinstalling and updating the drivers for my GPU, deleting all my prefernces in premiere, changing the playback quality, changing the video preview codec in the sequence settings, and making sure that I had the render and playbacy set to GPU acceleration in the project settings. None of this has worked. I just updated to the latest version today (03/17/2025) and that's when the issues started. I can go back to an older version if need be but I'm hoping that someone here has been experiencing similar problems. My System SpecsWindows 11 64 BitProcessor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF 3.00 GHzRAM: 32GBGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (with the Game Ready Driver installed)Storage: 800GB with 130GB free Any help is app

Prior to the latest update, my form fields would auto resize the text.I have had these same forms for years. Now all the fields default to scrolling & when I print the forms the text in the fields is cut off.How do I change this back to auto size? Also, cannot find how to change just the one field manually. If anyone from Adobe is reading these posts, this default change is unacceptable & changing font sizes should be made much simpler

Okay, so I was making changes to one of my projects when I accidentally pressed the wrong key on my keyboard, and the Direct Selection tool is not showing when an object is selected. Can I have some help, please?

I've recently moved product area and now design almost exclusively on paper product, I would like to understand if there are any inbuilt settings on either Illustrator or InDesign that would allow me to check colour contrast of my designs before they go to print e.g yellow on a cream base often is hard to see but some levels are ok but I would like to know this before I hit print!  Would really appreciate any tips on how to do this.  I've been using a site called Coolors to determine whether the contrast is high enough between text and background however it would be really great if there was something easier.

All of a sudden no videos will load - error - try refreshing pageHow many Jobs have I not gotten an interview for because, the site wasn't working and I didn't know it.It's pretty gross, that adobe offers a featur like portfolio. We the customer put in weeks to develope a portfolio site and then Adobe just says, "Doesn't work? not my problem"! Adobe says, "Sounds like a You problem, not a Me problem" (I've asked about portfolio in the past and - this is essential what tech says)Can someone please fix Adobe Portfolio - I'm in the middle of a job search and - no videos will play on portfolio• Thanks you

Hi,I availed the free mobile subscription to Lightroom. I no longer use it and I haven’t received any notifications that my free subscription will be ending soon. Upon checking today, the free trial has already ended yesterday and I was auto deduct in my GCash amounting to P1,050. I would like to ask for a cancellation and refund via Apple/Gcash. Please help me on this. Does anybody know who I need to contact? It's quite frustrating as I really want my money back.  Regards,Cleah

Hey guys, how do we save text presets (styles) now in PPro 2025? I have a text layer over a video with a white background color - i attached a screenshot, i just want to be able to save this text style, but since "essential graphics" panel is gone i don't know how to!

I use Lightroom Creative Cloud exclusively these days, and I can't figure out what the purpose of the Lightroom Saved Photos folder is (within my macbook/users/me/pictures folder). If it's an artifact from an earlier version or something, I'd like to delete it because it uses up 4 GB of space, but if it's being used for something, I don't want to cause problems. It almost seems like an error that it exists at all, since, for instance, it contains only one photo (a tiff) from this year (I've taken hundreds of photos), and contains probably hundreds from 2022, which seems random. When I looked at the title of one to see if it exists in the lightroom app, I did find a strangely blank spot in the lightroom library. It contained an item with the title and some settings, but no image appear in that spot. Looking through many of the items in the Lightroom Saved Photos folder, they don't seem to be ones I would've saved, generally, which makes me wonder if these are all deleted items? But I do
