Hey! Hope I can describe my Photoshop issue in English. On my last Macbook Pro 2016 13" and on my new one 2019 15" I have this issue most of the time with photoshop - I think not at all with the other software of the Adobe Creative Cloud. Issue:As you can see in the screenshot my Photoshop window moves out of the viewport/display of my Macbook (to the left). This happens quite often after I am working for some time with Photoshop and switching between Photoshop and a browser, other CC software… It is not only that I have to move it back to the center of the window in order to see everything.The second part of the issue are the openend tabs in Photoshop: they suddenly do not react anymore, when I click on them. The workaround I use since months is to click on the right side of the window an drag it a little bit smaller or bigger. Hey all,I'm a semi-newbie to Photoshop and Lightroom on Mac & IpadOS, but trying to pick up useful skills.I recently had my first roll of Black & White film come back, and oddly the middle of the roll seems to have fallen foul to some light leakage. I have no clue how this happened, as it doesn't impact the rest of the roll at all.In either case - there's varying levels of impact. Was just wondering if there was anything in the ecosystem I could leverage to try and smooth out the impact? Some may be beyond saving, but wanted to understand if I had any options here. Typically I see people with impacted colour film told to use a black and white filter... but that isn't an option here for obvious reasons.Thanks in advance.Sam

Hi all,I am trying to correct a 16k x 10k pixels panorama with the Perspective Warp tool and it is constantly blocking and responding incredibly slow so I might have to cut down the resolution in order to be able to work on my image. All the hardware of my PC are working at normal parameters so the only thing that is slow is Photoshop. Does anyone else have this problem?Thanks,Alex

Hey all, I've encountered a technical problem recently where I am unable to save files to the Adobe cloud. Whenever I click on the "save as" option it directs me to option to save it locally. The button for "save to cloud documents" is still the but when I click on it, nothing happens. The dialog box disappears for a moment and then pops back up. Any fixes? Thank you in advance for all the help.

After editing a file in Photoshop, and completing Merge Visible Layers, a number of solid blue squares appeared on the file in my workshpace.  I undid the merge visible.But whenn I saved it back to Lightroom, the file appeared with the blue boxes on it.Why is this happening?  I recently upgraded both LR and PS.TIA.

Estaba trabajando con photoshop y al momento de abrir un archivo editable, dejo de funcionar, al no tener respuesta del programa reinicie la computadora y abri el programa, se abrio con otro editable diferente, y trate de abrir el que estaba trabajando y no reacciono, reinicie lka computadora nuevamente y cuando quise abrir photoshop, simplemente no hizo nada.Ya desisntaléYa instale versiones anteriores.Utilié la herramienta de limpieza de adobe.Ya borre y volví a instalar el creative cloud.Ya actualice mi driver de video.Mis aplicaciones tienen permiso en el firewall.Las demas aplicaciones funcionan, menos el photoshop.

Hi,A PSD file was corrupted while saving (PC crashed).It can't be opened. It says:Couldn't open  "File.PSD" because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.Of course I hadn't changed the version.The file is big enough, I mean the information is in there, probably there was a small mistake.  It was a whole day work, please help!

Been trying to use this tool /shortcuts  I have it working but I am not getting a new layer all the repeats are on one layer I understand I should get each new copy on a new layer using CS6 on a PC does anyone know why I am not getting new layers for each copy?

When I try to make a selection then command + J, to duplicate that selection, I keep on getting the error below:Here is a shot of the selection:I can restart photoshop then it goes away for a bit, then just comes back. Any fixes?

Anyone else having this issue? When retouching, occasionally the H key short cut needs repeated presses (maybe 3-4) before the tool switches to Hand and stays there. For the first 2-3 presses, it switches to the Hand tool briefly before switching back. I use this a lot since I've had issues with Space Bar registration in the past, adn you can end up (for example) moving a heal layer half way through and not realising until you zoom out and see all your old heal adjustments are in the wrong place. I can't recreate it on demand but will try and get a video of it. PS 26.4.1OSX 14.6.1M3 Pro Macbook Pro with 36GB memory, nothig else significant open and no tasks using much resource in Activity Monitor.

Very often I experience when a person (not naked) is in the picture with e.g. free shoulders and I want to optimize the background (remove person, fill background, etc.) the AI function is blocked and refers to the fact that I am violating the rules.As a portrait photographer, I fail with almost every 2nd picture because of these rules, just because a person is depicted. hey guys, i want my guides snap on every pixel while moving them, without point numbers like "652,8px. i want to be them like 650px, 651px, 652px. Holding down the shift key make the guides snap to pixels, but not every pixel, it goes like 600px, 610px, 620px...is it possible?thanks.

Hello Apologies if this is in the wrong area.  I recently redownloaded Photoshop as I now have access to it again via my job. However, it runs extremely poorly on my home PC. Borderline unuseable. The only way I can describe is... it's as if it's running at about 3 fps. And it crashes, CONSTANTLY from the smallest things, like appying a noise filter for example. I've used Photoshop in the past on this exact set-up, the exact same machine, no specs have changed. So im not sure why it's suddenly struggling. I've tried reinstalling, clearing the cache, allocating the recommended 80% ish ram. I have 32GB ram and allocated photoshop about 20GB if it needs it. But it never used more than about 3GB. Unchecking GPU accelaration and re-checking At first I thought it just be because Im working on a large canvas. I'm a graphic designer so sometimes work on A1 size canvas. But I have the same issues with A4/5.  If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!&

Hello, here is my problem :I calibrated my HP z24x old monitor with the Spyder 5 Express in sRGB colorspace.This calibration created an ICC profile used by default from Windows.A friend of mine has all the same softwares as me without calibration done and using the basic icc sRGB profile in windows.The picture attached displays Dark in the bushes for him on Chrome / Davinci / Photoshop Whereas for me it displays Dark in the bushes only on Chrome and Davinci.if I disable my icc profile created from the calibration, it displays correctly in all software.I also have a mac on the side to check how the picture appears on web + apps + photoshop and it s supposed to be dark.So my problem comes from the ICC profile and Adobe softwares that seem to display correct srgb picture but without understanding the Display transform from the monitor.For exemple when I switch from the classic sRGB IE61966-2.1 ICC profile to the one created by the calibration, I can see photoshop quickly applying a c

Let me clarify upfront—I'm only referring to still photography here. I've been using the TK Print Panel for a while, but after updating Photoshop to v 25.12.3, the panel has started acting up. This happened after repeatedly closing and reopening Creative Cloud, and the Photoshop version mentioned above.I now have two related—but separate—questions I’m hoping the community can help with:First: Is there an easy way to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop through Creative Cloud? I keep getting error codes 1 and 2 alternately, and I suspect Creative Cloud may not be too fond of the TK Print Panel, as it’s not on Adobe’s approved plugin list.Second: Is there a good alternative plugin that is approved by Creative Cloud and offers the same ease of use and functionality as the TK Print Panel?

Once I get to this point of loading, program loads very slowly. I am running on a M3 Max Macbook Pro with 36GB of RAM. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Removing the Adobe folder from my Application Support folder. Have seen forums suggest removing plug-ins folder, but can never locate on my device.

I am a newbie of photoshop and the effects of gradient map confuse me.  I thought gradient map has consistent formula for the 3 color channel(RGB), but it doesn't.  I set left side of gradient map to black(0, 0, 0), and right side to white(255,255, 255), and the gradient map layer changes rgb color of below layer as following:  (255, 0, 0) -> (66, 66, 66)  (0, 255, 0) -> (156, 156, 156)  (0, 0, 255) -> (18, 18, 18)  such result is really beyond my understanding, So why do I get this effect?

I am trying to uninstall Photoshop 7.  I get the message UninstallShield has detected that c:\program files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop7.0\Photoshop.exe is in use. Please close the application using this file and launch UninstallShield again.   But I am not using it. It is broken and not working.   Windows 11 on a laptop

Last week my zoom tool acts like this.press zoom hotkey> pressing pen on screen> drag (pen is still  pressing on screen) > lifts up pen = zoom function is overbut now:press zoom hotkey> pressing pen on screen > drag > lifts up pen > hovering pen on screen> zoom function zooming in and out unless I right click. the zoom function seemed to change.did photoshop change the zoom function entirely this recent update?how do I return the  zoom function back.

When Preferences->Workspace options "Open Documents as Tabs" and "Open LArge Tabs" are inactive (and PS is freshly (re)started), opening (or droping in) several images cause a bug. Last window of the opened pictures remains active/semi-active on top. It stays on top when windows of previous pictures selected. Even when "under" window is managed to be on top via moving, tools (like clone tool selecting Source via Alt key) switches back to last opened picture if it's window is below. Confirmed on different machines - Win10 and Win11 for both versions of Photshop 26.6.1 and Photoshop Beta 28.Bug presumably wasn't observed before 26.6 (or 26.6.1).

When generative fill was introduced, I remember it only filling the selected area.Right now, generative fill goes beyond my selection and sometimes "destroys" areas that I didn't select. Is there a way to limit generative fill to only fill my selected area and nothing else?
