Photoshop

Hello Adobe Community, I have this studio editorial image and surrounding the subject is purple/magenta banding/chromatic abberation. It's not that noticeable on my laptop/in photoshop but it is very noticeable on Instagram. I've tried editing in 16 bit then converting to 8 bit etc. I've tried image>adjuststments>hue/sat and turned down Magenta/purple. I can get rid of it by turning the whole image temperature warmer but it is pivotal for this project to be a cooler toned image, unfortunately the purple banding still shows up. Does anyone know how to remove/fix this?

While using Photoshop, the application crashes frequently, and my PC shows a black screen with the error message: “YOUR DEVICE RAN INTO A PROBLEM.” This has happened multiple times (3–4 times).Initially, I suspected it was a hardware issue with my laptop. I contacted Lenovo Support, and they reinstalled Windows for me. However, the problem persisted. I then submitted my laptop under DOA and received a replacement unit. Unfortunately, the same issue occurs on the new laptop as well—Photoshop crashes and the system restarts.Since the issue is repeating even on a brand-new laptop, I believe the problem lies with Adobe Photoshop rather than the hardware.I already updated my photoshop, graphic cards, all windows update. If anyone Knows why this problem occur, Please

I’m recently experiencing a strange issue with Photoshop. All images appear to have a pink/magenta tint only in Photoshop’s preview. I know it’s not a monitor issue, because when I open the same image simultaneously in Illustrator and Photoshop, the colors look correct in Illustrator but pink-tinted in Photoshop (see attached screenshot).Both files use the same color mode and color profile.Saving the image in Photoshop and then opening it with Windows Photos shows the correct colors. I’ve tried searching for information about this problem but haven’t found a solution yet. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix it?

I recently installed an HP OfficeJet Pro 9021 printer. Whenever I try to print from it, Photoshop shuts down. No warning, and without the previous file loaded as a recovery. What should I do to make the printer work in PhotoShop? I'm running the latest OS and version of Photoshop on a Mac. I've made contact sheets today already with no problems. I tried to make some more and the pages are now blank. I've restarted and I've tried going through Bridge. Nothing works now. This has happened in the past and just corrected itself, I thought. How does it work one minute and not the next. I have no weird file names or special characters in the file names. I make contact sheets nearly every day, so this is not foreign to me. I just want to know why? I also tried using just a simple JPEG and it still shows up blank.

There were some great ideas and very clever interpretations of the gavel.This week, in the run up to Christmas, I thought we should have a Christmas based theme. Instead of a Christmas tree, which we have used before, I chose a Christmas plant. So we have a 3D render of a Poinsettia. The plant itself is a model from the XFrog plant library, the two gift-wrapped presents are from Adobe Substance 3D Assets. The table, vase and wall, I modelled in Blender. All textures are from Adobe Substance 3D assets and were applied in Adobe Substance Painter. I have several thousand skies that I use sometimes with Sky Replacement option in photoshop. I know how to upload images in the Sky Replacemnt panel but where exactly are they stored. I have searched the file name and it shows up in my folder (on an external hard drive) but nowhere else and yet if I try an upload say 1000 of these files I very quickly run out of HD space.it was suggested to look in Library > App Support > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop 2026 but within that I cannot see any files being stored.  I am suing Mac OS Sequoia 15.6 and Photoshop 2026. Thanks.

I'm getting pretty frustrated.  For what it's worth I am running Win 11 and I think Photoshop 2026 but how can I know because Help / About Photoshop is greyed out. For what I pay for Adobe Creative Cloud quality seems shoddy and I know y'all want me to spend $100's worth of my time researching things (can I send you an invoice?  should I take you to small claims court?  is that even allowed in the clickwrap contract?) and filing bug reports and without any SLA I'm not sure it is better than talking to the hand.  I know I should be more polite than this and it isn't cool to air dirty laundry in public but see (3) Here are three things that have me frustrated now: (1) If I am in the Windows Explorer and click on an image (say JPEG) to open it in Photoshop,  Photoshop is listed as an application to open it in but I click on it and...  nothing happens.  Expected result is that I click on the image and it opens in Photoshop.(2) So far as I c

I signed up for this platform with the thought of being able to use the photo shop and AI to create some things for my crafting hobby. I had 750 credits and never once was able to create anything. Now I have none. The program no once created what I ask. I was very specific and stated exactly what I wanted. I was direct with wording and yet it created things I never ask for. Not once creating anything I could use. If there is nothing to help me then I will just cancel this madness. My co pilot that is free does a way better job. Have a good day all.

I am trying to print a wide landscape on roll paper using an epson P600 printer. I specify Let Photoshop control the printer and specify the paper ICC profile. I've followed instruction for speicying the print width. When I hit print the print status panel shows the printer trying to print but nothing happens. I am using Photoshop on a Mac. I am able to print the pano using epson Print Layout. Any suggestions? Thanks

RAW files from Canon TS 17mm are cropped when opened as layers from Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 to Photoshop 2026 27.0.0 on Mac Tahoe 26.1 - see screenshots. Does anyone know why this is happening or have they figured out a work around or fix? It's only happening with some files. Many thanks in advance. 

I re-edited a 2017 image but found that image wasn't saving properly. The saved thumbnail resembles a transparency but when reopened in PS, looks fine. However, file size is a fraction of original image. Any suggestions. 

I'm not able to print after updating to photoshop 2026. I have reset everything but nothing. Able to print from preview, photos and image capture but nothing photoshop.

I'm on the latest Photoshop 27.2, and this started with that update. First, caps lock is not on. I've read back to 2017 on various fixes for crosshairs being stuck and tried all of the answers I found, and I'm still stuck. I've even got a brand new, shiny Apple keyboard (without cookie crumbs in the keys-don't judge!).  I've rebooted, tried every single combination of settings for Cursors and still whining about this issue. Hi,   I have strange result when making image smaller via export. There is black background, also rectangle and still I get weird outline around my artboard. In JPG also in PNG. PS 26.11.1Windows 11 Pro 25H2        

Thanks for these tips. Sadly, the solutions offered didn't solve my problem. I'm having the exact same issue as the OP.Opening via File>Open is the only way I've been able to open the two photos I need in RAW together. Otherwise one opens, and the other doesn't open until I close the first. They're in the same folder. They're both .ARW files. But one was taken at a much more recent date (Photos from the original photoshoot will open together in RAW, but the newer photo will not).If you have any more solutions to offer, I'd love to hear them. I've reset RAW preferences, restarted the computer, and tried opening by dragging onto the icon as suggested. Nothing made a difference. Thanks in advance!

I have a serial key and download links for Photoshop CS6, provided by Adobe.  The download guideline, also provided by Adobe, said to download the files, run the installer, and enter my serial number on my Adobe ID to activate the application.  When I enter the serial number, I get the message that "this serial number is already in use."  I can go no further. I am trying to install on a new HP Pavilion laptop, Windows 11.  My old laptop died, so I can't deactivate the Photoshop app that's installed on that computer. I want to be able to use the CS6 that I purchased for mega bucks.   [personal information removed by moderator]

Hallo Zusammen!Wollte gestern nach längerem mal wieder PS benutzen, und hatte nie Probleme. Jetzt leider schon udn ich bin total Ratlos. Wollte bei dem Bild den Hintergrund entfernen, und ja, dann kommt immer diese Meldung.Das Gleiche auch, wenn ich auf auf "Motiv auswählen" gehe kommt, es gäbe kein Motiv zum Auswählen.Ich hatte damit noch nie Probleme.. The same plugin loads successfully when Photoshop opens a fresh document via File → Open.Process Explorer shows that in failing cases, Photoshop initializes its ML/OpenVINO components during document rehydration, causing the plugin to resolve openvino_*.dll from the Photoshop application directory rather than its own runtime, resulting in an ABI mismatch.
