Solved

Running on Windows 11, all drivers up to date, I'm so confused...Lightroom is Version 8.3, and it crashes a second after starting the app. No error messages, no nothing. Just closes. I've tried running it as administrator, nope. Actually dumbfounded.

It seems like master pages are only good for storing elements; placing them in place in a document seems to cause a lot of problems. How does one avoid parent page items repeating when pages are added or removed? If I have an edited parent item on page 20, then remove page 18, the original item reappears on the new page 19. Or if I add pages before the occurence of the parent item, it will reappear. Folios often duplicate themselves, too. It seems as if a new master page is occurring, often "overprinting." As opposed to placing the master page initially from the master page menu, does dragging the master item from a library avoid this problem? Or copying and pasting in place the master items from the master page?

Also I'm not talking about the setting "Hardware accelerated composition, layer, and footage panels". Premiere Pro has the abillity to disable it but I can't find it on After Effects. GPU Accelerated UI Rendering causes the premeire pro/after effects window to lag when dragging it around or hovering over most UI buttons have "phantom" effects. It also makes the timeline and other stuff very slow. I never had this problem in Premiere Pro v24.

I'm having trouble using Tamil fonts in ID CS3 (Win10). The glyphs get mixed up and an odd character is placed between the transposed characters, I suppose indicating that something unkind has happened to the ligature.  It's probably something to do with Unicode fonts (which I don't understand at all!). I'm using the Nirmala UI font.

I am a long time Sound Forge user trying to adjust to audition. In Sound Forge, if I add two markers, then double click the region between the two markers, Sound Forge selects that region (so I can perform an operation on the selected region).  This is a primary way I do lots of quick edits. I can't figure out how to do this in audition (every time I click, it selects the entire clip). How do I select the region between two markers?

PSD and PSB files are not opening - whether I open in the app using, FIle > Open or right click on the file in File Explorer and choose Open With > Adobe Photoshop 2025 - I get the Home screen, or whatever the landing page before you open a document is called - as shown below.  I also tried clicking on Open from this screen, and when I navigate to a file and select it, nothing then happens.  Why would this be happening?  Thanks.

My husband passed away the night my Son and his Wife found out they were exxpecting their first child. When creating a smart collection, if you tell it to find all searchable text containing all, and then you put duplicate words, it does not work. For example, I am an avid birder, and I sort all the bird photographs by their scientific names. One of the birds name is "pica pica" which I note in one of the metadata fields. Lightroom pulls in every photo with the single word pica no matter how I enter it (with or without quotes, with or without plus signs). It does not search for text containing pica space pica. Can this be fixed?

Hi there, I have RAW files in one folder and JPEG files in a different folder - these are exported photos with the same name as their RAW versions.  I want to keep ONLY those RAW files that were exported as JPEG. How can I only select those RAW files that match the name of the exported JPEGs? I understand that I should've flagged the images in Lightroom library and delete/keep them after exporting. However, I simply selected a few dozens out of hundreds of raw photos without tagging or flagging them. It's either too difficult or too simple to do. I hope my explanation makes sense and I would really appreciate some help. Arthur

Hello Adobe Community, I need some help with embed codes on Adobe Portfolio. Currently, I am trying to embed another website's page into my Portfolio site, using the embed feature. However, I keep receiving an error message that states "This embed code is not valid". Here is the code I am using: <iframe src="https://ninfa.io/exhibition/@TheCryptGallery/Futureshape-360-Exhibition---The-Crypt-Gallery-X-Ninfa-4" frameborder="0" scrolling="yes" width="800" height="1500"></iframe>Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong? Also, if this code is not supported, is there anything else I could do to work around this problem? (other than taking a screenshot of the site and linking to that webpage). Thank you in advance for any support.

Looks like Adobe Premier Rush still crashes immediately in Windows 11.  Has Adobe not even attempted to fix this yet?  it's been doing it for over a year.  If I have to continue to use Clipchamp I'll probably cut my entire subscription off here.

I'm trying to upload a zip file containing (EPS/AI and JPEG), but when uploading, I'm facing errors. Please, somebody help me. Thank you.

Hi All, Not sure if the problem is with osx or indesign. Placing dialog used to work; not anymore after updating osx when placing images into indesign (commmand d) then selecting images in the finder like window (technically speaking this might be the ilifemdiabrowser plugin from apple) , i cannot access the photos library album strucutre anymore (it used to be a seperate menue on top in the dialog box. When going to movies (filme) i do get the menu where i can choose the subfolders, with images (bilder) it does not work.  Further, when trying to choose media (top menu on placing window) it cant access it. I suppose it is some kind of issue with adobe not getting access to the os photos system. I tried solving it in the mac settings, but it is not possible to grant indesign access to the photos library. When installing indesign i got a message asking if indesign could access downloads and desktop, but it didnt ask for other folders or places. Same issue with ph

LR Classic 14.3.1 and PS 26.6.1 on MacOS, but I doubt this is OS specific. I have merged raw files to create a 32 bit HDR DNG file in Lightroom Classic that I would like to convert to an 8 bit JPG image while in Lightroom. I can do this if I run the image through Photoshop:With HDR edit mode selected for the HDR file in the Lightroom Classic Develop Module, I can right click on the image and open in Photoshop, with the image opening as an RGB/32 bit file.  If I then select Image Menu / Mode / 8 bits/channel, then Photoshop gives me a an HDR Toning dialog box where I can control the mapping of the 32 bit HDR to 8 bit. Does this functionality exist in Lightroom Classic?  I haven't found any way to export to an 8 bit JPG via the HDR Toning dialog in LRC.  But I may be missing something!  It would be more straight forward to be able to do this without exporting to PS first, but when I export the HDR to JPG from LRC, I only get a default rendering of the J

Hello, Using the "TextImput" component, the console displays: "Adding a listener for DOMNodeRemoved is deprecated and will soon be removed. Instead of MutationEvent, use MutationObserver. https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/API/MutationObserver." How do I resolve this issue?

Hi there,I am currently using Adobe reader DC and X pro. For some reason when i go to select text in a PDF (single line) the cursor size is too big and selects paragraphs rather than a single line.  How do i adjust the cursor size.  See attached screen capture for more details (cursor size highlighted in red).  I am running this on a Windows 10 PC.  Thanks!
