Solved

Hi,I have a question. Not special for Adobe, but because I cannot find an answer anywhere, I hope one of you can help me out.My problem is that the last couple of months the background of my thumbnails in Windows 10 Explorer are black. I have a lot of brushes and other (semi_black files and now I cannot see the picture on the thumbnail. When I click on it to show it bigger on the right side of the screen, the bigger view is also black.Does anyone knows how I can turn thiese backgrounds back to white again????

Just yesterday, "Open Recent" worked fine. It brings up a bank of files from over a month ago. Also, I had posted this bug on April 29, 2025, and it wasn't posted.

I'm seeking assistance creating a custom label which includes autmatically filling in that days Julian Date (L5106 for example) and then a separate field which contains an expeiration date 420 days from that day. I've used the below script in previous labels for the expiration date, but have never calculated a Julian date. Any assitance would be much appreciated!  Validation Script:var expFld = this.getField("Expiration");if (event.value != "") { // check if populated else script will fail.    var d = util.scand("mm/dd/yy", event.value); // gets selected date from "Today" field    var DateNextYear = new Date(d.getTime());    DateNextYear.setDate(d.getDate() + 420);    expFld.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yy", DateNextYear); //assign future date to "Expiration" field} else expFld.value = ""; Javascript Code:var f = this.getField("Today");f.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yy", new Date());

Hi all, I'm trying to do something that I would think would be very simple, but I've walked a couple of videos now and have scoured the forum and have come up empty-handed. How can I change a sublayer to a layer and then have it in the correct order? Here's a screenshot: I'm trying to get layer 8. Marshland so that it will be under layer 7. Roads but not nested under 7. Roads. I would think that would be really easy to do, but I've spend half an hour so far, fruitlessly dragging it, using Ctrl and Shift and various combinations, but so far I can only do one of two things: a. Move 8. Marshland to the very top of the list, above 1. b. Make 8. Marshland a sublayer of 7. Roads. What am I missing? I hope I don't need to install a script or something like that for what seems like such a basic thing to do. Thanks in advance! -- Bill

Saludos

The new experience looks like it should allow for the same drag and drop files for signature as the old experience. However, in Microsoft Edge this is not happening. In the old experience I have no issue. When I switch to new experience the drag option states "copy" which just makes the PDF download to the browser and open through the browser. Very frustrating.

In my InDesign document I have equations as images, in accessibility pdf it as tagged as <Figure> automatically, I need to tag it as <Formula>, how can I do it from InDesign through InDesign scripting

This sounds like a dumb question, and before today I would have thought so too. Basically, I'm looking to edit the page labels in a PDF so the first page has a blank label, the first 3 are i, ii, and iii, and then proper numbering starts. Before today, I've had no issues with this. Right click on the page thumbnail, labels, change the label. Sorted. Now, though, there is no Labels option, and clicking "Organise Pages" takes me to a browser site that still won't let me do what I want to do. I'm pulling my hair out over this, so hoping someone can help.

I have Adobe Digital Editions and haven't used it for a while but when I went to copy and past something it wouldn't work.  This seriously impacts the usefulness of the product.  I'm sure there's an easy solution but don't know what it is.

Hi, I'm trying to make a script where it will take highlighted text, make it into a hyperlink, format it with a character style and make the destination a page within the document, specifically the number that is the highlighted text. The usecase is an index - so I highlight 151, for example, and the script applies the character style "Hyperlink" and makes the text a hyperlink to page 151. Below is what I have so far but I'm tweaking a script I found elsewhere (source below) and I'm really struggling. I'm afraid this is not a particular strength of mine. If anyone fancies digging into it and seeing if they can make it work, I'd be very grateful! Thanks, Eubhal Script: Main();// If you want the script to be un-doable, comment out the line above, and remove the comment from the line below// app.doScript(Main, undefined, undefined, UndoModes.ENTIRE_SCRIPT,”Run Script”);function Main() {//This takes the text that you have highlighted on the pagevar myHighlightedTex

Hi,I'm wondering if it is possible to use generative AI if I have a reference image to go off.Say I have a project which is an image of an empty room and I have another photo of furniture I'd like in my image, is there a way for AI to replicate or do similar?

I have tried downloading several files in the last couple of months, all get through the preparing file section but majority get stuck at 0%. I end up just screenshoting and cropping. Is there anyway to fix this?

Downloaded Photoshop 2024 yesterday and can't get rid of the black home screen. I will to Settings>general and then unclicked "Auto show the Home Screen" . Nothing has worked. I have downloaded Photoshop a couple of times and still can't get rid of the screen.  I read where my workspace might be the issue and am now using the Essentials workspace. I got rid of all my preferences and started over clean. Still can't get rid of the stupid home screen. Help! I hate it! Thanks  Woodie

I'm trying to animate something that is meant to be bendy but starts with a perfectly straight sprite. For consistency and my own sanity, I'd like the bones I want to set up with Asset Warp to form a perfectly straight line, down the middle of the sprite. Is there a hotkey or shortcut I can use to force the bones to be on a cardinal direction? In Photoshop, several tools (such as gradient) let you hold Shift to force the tool to operate on a cardinal direction (perfectly vertical or horizontal). Is there a way to do this with Asset Warp? Alternatively, once I've placed my pins/bones, is it possible to change where on the sprite a certain pin is? I don't mean manually dragging the pins around (as this would Warp the Asset, obviously), but actually changing the pin positions relative to the sprite so I could straighten out the bones?
