Solved

My InDesign has gone EXTREMELY slow since the update to 18.2.1. I'm working on a Windows 11 laptop. Placing images works fine, but editing a simple text box, typing a word, any formatting takes several seconds to materialise. Typing a word in a text box will make the word appear letter by letter and each letter takes a few seconds to appear. It is unworkable and simply unacceptable for a paid-for product. The laptop's resources are not at their limits. I still have spare processor capacity and spare RAM when InDesign decides to think about every little edit, so that's not it. It never used to be anywhere near this slow, but I can't keep on working like this. Any ideas?   <Title renamed by moderator>

As soon as I link my layer to a null object, it disappears from the screen. I've played around with view and opacity and nothing works. I can not find anything relating to this issue online, what can I try?

Hi all,I regularly use Adobe Illustrator to create custom vector assets for presentations (mainly for google slides). I export the assets into WMF format, open them through google drawings and then copy from there and past them into slides. I do this with many different custom assets that I design for presentations. Right now, I’m working on a custom icon library. They are simple black-and-white icons. After exporting them from Illustrator as WMF, I’m seeing:Distorted shapes (particularly rounded edges and strokes)Jagged outlines and misaligned elementsLoss of that clean, crisp look I designed in IllustratorThis is very frustrating, I've tried so many different things, and it just keeps happening. I've tried:Flattening transparency (100% vector, text and strokes converted to outlines)Tried EMF files, this is an incompatible file typeAdding the SVG directly into Google Slides (doesn't support the file type)Has anyone ran into this? I've tried looking for answers, but I haven't

Hi, I just installed a new computer in place of an older one. I had Adobe Acrobat X Standard installed on the old machine and running perfectly with my licence.I tried to activate the licence on the new machine without success. I then deactivate the licence on the old machine and tried to activated it on the new one.But surprise, my licence is still exceeded. I need my licence back.. It was working just fine on an Windows 11 machine and now, it's gone and i need to pay again? What a joke Thanks

Salut, Pourquoi "Kashida", "digit" et "sens du texte" ne figure pas dans le panneau des options? Merci

Hi, Is anyone else having issues with PS Beta? Since the most recent update, my photos open with a black sceen and you can work or see anything. Can someone please fix the issue? Thank you,Amy Bezek Photography

Does anyone run both PS and LR Classic?  I'm running both on a Dell laptop with only 4gb vram, so I'm looking to upgrade to something that has either 8gb or 16gb vram.  I also play videos at the same time.  Would like to know if someone out there does something similar and the setup he/she has and of course what the performance is like...

Hi everyone!I'm asisting in a documentary with lots of interviews which I synced/subcliped using the multicam feature but what we (the 2 editors and me) realized after a while is that some multicams don't reproduce sound when played on the source monitor. If we dragged them to any timeline or if we open them in timeline (like, opening a subclip in avid) we can hear everything perfectly. It's just that we can't hear them in the source monitor, which is a problem when you want to match frame and hear the rest of the interview, for example. 2 more things that may come in handy to solve the issue: 1- I tried duplicating one of the functioning multicams and replace its content with the clips (video and audio) from the wrong multicams. Loading this new multicam in the source monitor does work... But I can't automatically relink the clips from the edited timelines to these new "corrected" multicams. If you know a way to, I'll be glad to hear so! 2- When I load the wrong mul

I have the same problem but the link doesnt work anymore and i cant use the bot to get someone to talk to because he doesnt find a plan in my account

Hello all I’m still having the same problem trying to connect my Instagram account to Adobe Express Scheduler.... In my original post, it was suggested that I need to wait at least seven days before Scheduler would be able to connect to my Instagram account. It’s now been 10 days and I still can’t connect to my account. I’ve tried clearing my browser cache as well as deleting all cookies on my browser. I’ve even gone so far as use a browser that I never use to connect to Adobe and I’m still having the same issue. I have been able to routinely connect to my Facebook Business page and that is working perfectly. I have attached the three images that I see every time I try to connect to Instagram. As I said above “I have connected my Facebook Page to Scheduler and have been able to schedule and post from the Adobe Express Site. If anyone has any suggestions as to where I might be able to find help, I would be greatly appreciative. – CES

I am having trouble with the switch line in a script I am trying to create.  I am trying to get a text field to autofill with specific account number when the account type is selected from the dropdown button. I have tried using dropdownValue and eventValue as well putting a dot in between and still have the same syntax error each time.

How do I use typwriter function to edit adobe pdf documents?

I was using Photoshop fine until a few hours ago (on my Mac). I was just editing an image, nothing unusual from what I often do. I tried to open it a short while ago, and it made me log in again, which is weird, because I'm logged into all other Adobe applications on my computer. I logged in, then a window came up which read, "Sorry, Photoshop CC has encountered an error and needs to close. "You will not be able to use Photoshop CC at this time. Please contact Customer Support and use the reference code 213 for more information on how to resolve this issue." Then it had me click "Quit Photoshop CC", and it shut down the application. Trying to use the application just causes this process to repeat. I don't know what I've done to cause this, or what could've changed. I was using Fuse to make a character, and I was going to take that character into Photoshop and play around with it a bit. I like to illustrate, and I'm experimenting with Fuse as an inspiration tool. I s

I have a document with a black background and white text, but when I print it it only gives black. how do I change this?

Hi,I've setup a sharepoint online library to store all the invoices, which I want to setup an power automate to route the invoices for approval. I've also establish metadata field in sharepoint library for the individual file (ie cost code, approver name, approver email, receive date), which I'm able to and have already created an Adobe Acrobat Sign template in the library with the associated field from sharepoint and signature boxes. I want to trigger from Sharepoint library by selecting the specific invoice pdf file to create an agreement with a template cover page and send for signature.I see that there's an action for:"Create an agreement from a library template and send for signature" and"Create an agreement from an uploaded document and send for signature" I'm wondering how i can create an agreement from a template combing with an uploaded document and send for signature.

When I select the sky in Adobe Camera Raw (v. 17.3, Windows 11, 23H2 latest version), automatic adjustemts are applied. Often I do not like them but would want delete the automatic adjustments and do what I intended instead. Is there an easy way to undo the automatic adjustments, keeping the selection and start all over with the adjustment?

I was downloading images today and now every time I download a stock image, it gets automatically added to an old CC Library I never use in my account. I used to be asked if I wanted to save downloads to a library but now it just does it automatically. I don't see the option to change this anymore. I tried deleting site cookies and cache but it still persists. For now, I've made a placeholder Library where they should keep downloading into where I can delete later, but it's a bit of a nuisance right now. Edit: It's not moving the images to the Library I specified either, so something seems to be broken.

It used to be really easy to change this, but i've tried in both web and app and neither are giving me this option. On a help page (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/sign/using/replace-signer.html#sa_src=web-messaging ) it mentions a "Manage Tab" but i can't find this anywhere, could any help with how to do it with the new change(don't know if i'm a fan of this change yet, great to be able to add CC after now, but not being able to easily amend signers will be a massive negative - a video how to would be appreciated to get caught up!) Thank you!

Hi everyone,Issue - The following occurs in both my work PC and home PC, using a 2 monitor system with custom workspace in both locations. I can only give details of my work machine at the moment. Hi all,    I'm using the font EloquentJF Pro, and I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use glyphs (specifically swashes and special characters) in the text of a project I'm working on.  I can make it work on indesign, but cannot figure out how to do it with CCE. Is there something I'm missing or is it simply not possible?    Many thanks!    Apologies in advance if this is an obvious question - I am still new and learning!

Printing from Photoshop had been going fine but now when the print setup window comes up the "canvas" (the white rectangle on the diagonal lined background) is itself off center. And sure enough my prints are, too. What can I do to fix this?In the screenshot is my attempt to print a 7.5" x 10" image on a 8.5" x 11" paper.

A recent update went through that has removed the "cc" option when sending out an e-signature to a recipient. Now my only options are to go to the 'old' Adobe Acrobat to accomplish this, as far as I know. Am I mistaken? Is there a way to add carbon copy recipients for these e-signatures but I merely missed where the option is? Also, slightly unrelated, but I'd like to know if there's a way to move the toolbar from the right side to the left side. This is another thing recent updates seemed to have changed arbitrarily.

When I export a graphic from illustrator the color is changing.   I switch my color picker to web safe RGB and set the color to #311a92.   But when it exports and I use it in a webpage it is slightly lighter.  I sample the color using a browser color picker and it #362f8c.   I am using the #311a92 all through my CSS so I need to be able to to get illustrator to export that acutal color.   Here is what I have tried... - Using just a plain square.- legacy and regular export- setting "don't color manage my document" under assign profile- different jpg and png typesAll with the exact same result.  What am I doing wrong?

Hello,For those who are music producers or produce music videos. Here's a process for editing to a music track, if you've been wondering. In your music production software, record a few bars of the metronome to an audio track.Tab to transient to edit and make a clip of one metronome beat for the BPM.Import the audio clip to Premiere Pro, copy it eight times, and set a marker on the timeline. Then, copy the selection along with the marker to the whole sequence and you have a music video!
