Solved

I am starting a new thread regarding my efforts to find the solution to the ongoing issue of GPU crashes with photoshop. The main issue is when I attempt to use the object selection tool, my display goes dark, and the only may to recover is to hard shutdown my PC, and restart. Unfortunately, the thread that I started two days ago has vanished after today’s community forum platform reset . . This morning, I uninstalled all of my previous versions of adobe apps including photoshop, bridge, lightroom, RAW, BETA. I renamed all previous photoshop folders with .old (C drive Class / roaming/ app data / AdobeI then Installed Photoshop 27.3 again fresh I Confirmed that the preferences all reset to default.  I adjusted my preferences including performance, Image processing (see screenshots) Next, I tested many tools . . .including the removal tool, and they were all  good :-)  Until, I tried the Object Selection tool . . . GPU Crash ☹️

Hello,I noticed that this was posted long time ago, but I'm unable to fix this problem in my current version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 23.1.20143.0 (creation data 2023/04/04). Often, while I'm trying to send to print an email or PowerPoint document to PDF, I'm getting this  following error:--%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%Aptos-Narrow-Bold-Italic not found, using Courier.%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%Stack:[56 96 145 0]()%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. When adding gaussian blur to a shape it creates a large white square behind shape. It cannot be selected and only disappears when the blur is removed from shape. This is the latest version of illustrator and it appears the same in the previous version.

Recently I'm having this problem, also with illustrator. Indesign wont open any document, there is no error message or anything but the spinning wheel. Sometimes forcing the app to close and open it again works but not always. I'd already deleted the preferences but didn't make any difference. This problem is been for least one week, suddenly works fine but there are days than can't work forI'm running Mac Os High Sierra 10.13.5 Indesign and illustrator latest version

Hi, I am trying to get up and running with Substance Designer, and I notice the default renderer has been updated since I last used the software. I am working in a fresh scene, and trying to visualize my height/displacement in isolation. My renderer is set to the GPU Pathtracer, and I have increased my tessellation values on a Sphere 2 tiles. However, rolling the lights in the 3d viewport just removes any visibility of the displacement, and I can really only see it in the shadows. I have attached a screenshot for your viewing. Is this a bug or user error on my part? Lastly, is there a way to isolate a node in the 3d view so I can see each change one at a time? I was looking at documentation and apparently 1 or 2 on the keyboard is supposed to do this, but in my case it just toggles the link creation mode.Thanks.

Hi my credit card was charged a lot of money for a membership and a cancellation of the membership. I would like a full refund as I cancelled.  Thanks,Kayla

I’m baking out textures from a source mesh to a target mesh using the Transferred Texture baker. One of my source textures is RGBA. But when I bake out the texture output is RGB. How can I bake out RGBA? Do I need to link the source texture to an alpha map in the source material? If so, this is quite tedious since I use alpha in both the Diffuse and Roughness maps.

I’ve recently upgraded from CS5.5 to CC 2025. I’ve noticed an unusual behaviour when I have multiple objects selected. If I click on one of the objects in the group, a thick blue line appears around it.  I’m not sure of the purpose of this, or how it is used?

I try to install PS and LR (the bundle) on my Win 11 PC with no luck. The installation process ends successfully (I get Installation successfully completed message) but PS nor LR appear on my installed applications list. I can only see Creative Cloud there. When I try to open Creative Cloud I get the message The application was unable to start (0xc00007b).I uninstalled and reinstalled the applications many time but the same thing happens. I also used the Adobe cleaning tool to make sure that I am starting from a clean base but again nothing happens.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a subscription for Creative Cloud, and one of the included apps is Adobe Scan. When I click on the link to get the app on my phone, it sends through GooglePlay to install. That is absolutely fine! But it asks me if I want a free trial for 7 days or sign up for a paid subscription. I am already paying for a subscription. The app does not give me an option to sign in with my credentials. Am I doing something wrong?

When I Draw a rectangle or text callout from the commenting toolbar, it seems to me that the tool used to revert back to the Select tool so I could move or manipulate the rectangle or text box. My muscle memory seems to think so, at least! Now it stays on whatever shape I drew, so I just keep drawing boxes on top of boxes while I'm clicking around trying to move the shape I just drew or to enter text. Is there a way to change this so it defaults back to the old way? I can't imagine why I would want to just draw endless rectangles, and it's time consuming switching back and forth between tools when I'm annotating a large piece on a deadline. It's a minor inconvenience, but I find it pretty annoying.

Hello everyone,to match whether swatch contains a spot color. I'm getting the following error. This error doesn't happen often, it only occurs occasionally. Could it be because I'm processing too many files, or the file processing is too fast? Using Acrobat 2020 Pro I'd like to be able to rotate a batch of pdf/a files counterclockwise 90°. I tried a couple of PreFlight options both the standard menu options and the print production extensive menus. Honestly there are so many options I don't really know how to configure it correctly. It seems daunting for such an easy task. The standard menu preflight did not work it seemed to skip the rotation for all the files during the action wizard.

Leading between paragraph styles is not consistent. The larger (incorrect) space only happened around 5 times in 100+ page doc. No rogue formatting on styles. Seems to fix itself when i create a orphan.

Hello everyone, I've upgrade to Indesign CC 2018 (13.1.0.76) from CC 2017 and now everytime I want to save a document (new or existing)  the same error message appears."Cannot save the document. It may be opened by other aplications. Close applications and try again. You may also use Save As to save it into a new document."   The Save As option works fine, but for my worklow this is unacceptable. When I work localy, the problem doesn't present itself only when I want to work from a company server. I have permission to read and write on the server. I have no idea what the problem is.   Before updating everything worked fine in the 2017 version.   I know there already exist a topic about the same issue, but it was never solved and its already a few years old. So i thought I open up a new one.   Does anyone have a solution??<Title renamed by MOD>

How is the Opacity effect in Painter consistent with that of Stager? The transparency adjustment in Painter is quite different from that in Stager.

Hello,I need some help trouble shooting a script. I am trying to flip the justification for all of a selected set of text frames. However, while most types of flipping work properly, the following does notif(sel.story.textRange.justification == Justification.RIGHT){         sel.story.textRange.justification = Justification.LEFT;}I would expect the justification for items that are Justification.RIGHT to switch to Justification.LEFT, but they remain as Justification.RIGHTIt does not fail, it just does not work as expected. What is odd is that it seems to work correctly for the three other types of justification I am flipping in the same script. See below for the full script.Any ideas what is causing this?try{          // Check current document for textFrames.          if ( app.documents.length < 1 ) {          &nb
