A scripting question. If I select any anchored object, I can get their position using this: function main() { var myAnchoredObject = app.selection[0]; if (!myAnchoredObject.hasOwnProperty("anchoredObjectSettings")) { alert("The selected item does not support anchored object settings."); return; } var posType = getAnchoredPositionType(myAnchoredObject.anchoredObjectSettings.anchoredPosition); alert("Anchored Position: " + posType); } function getAnchoredPositionType(anchoredPosition) { switch (anchoredPosition) { case AnchorPosition.INLINE_POSITION: return "INLINE"; case AnchorPosition.ABOVE_LINE: return "ABOVE_LINE"; case AnchorPosition.ANCHORED: return "CUSTOM"; default: return "UNKNOWN (" + anchoredPosition.toString() + ")"; } } app.doScript(main); But if the anchored object is a Flex Object, I always get this:The selected item does not support anchored object settings. So, is it possible to get the Anchored Object Setting of a FlexObject? Or Adobe forget to give access to this i

It would be very helpful if Adobe Portfolio would allow a collection within a collection.

When I updated my Elements 2021 to Elements 2025 I lost the ability to use the bacic Open closed eye enhancement function.  In 2025, I tried to open closed on photo that had 4 persons.  The automatic selection function will not let me select the only person whoes eyes are closed. (t will let me select from the three with open eyes.) I cannot discover a work around of the automatic selection function.  Any advice?

I am working on texturing/painting something for a video game. Within the photo I used a single color as a base coat (fiest phto) for an area but I wish to texture it similar to other parts (inside the red circle in the second photo). My thought would be to copy an area somehow and just use that as a brush to paint over the area that I need (like a bunch of copy and paste but faster?). This is very zoomed in an there is a lot of area to paint, so it would just be a huge time saver as a brush than trying to blur/smudge or copy/paste. I tried the clone tool but it doesnt cover a lot of area at a time because it pics up other parts of the photo.

I’ve created a book layout for a novel (A5) approx. 200 pages with 31 chapters. They are single pages not facing pages. I’ve done the page numbers and also have the book title at the top of each page (created on the A master page) but I want to put the title of each chapter at the top of each odd numbered page. Do I need 31 parent pages? Any suggestions as to how to do this whilst keeping the page numbering running correctly? Thanks!

I have an image of an asphalt texture. I want to create a wet effect, as if the asphalt is after rain, while also adding a nighttime effect, with light falling approximately in the center, like from a street lamp. I would really appreciate a detailed answer.

Hi everyone, I am trying to make an electroninc signing solution for flutter (as there are not many options available and I want to avoid API with third parties), that sign documents  in PAdES LTA quality. While the DSS validator (https://ec.europa.eu/digital-building-blocks/DSS/webapp-demo/validation) and others say my documents signatures are valid (appart of the fact my certificate is DEMO), Adobe Reader keeps complaining about Byte range being invalid. (It also asks me if I want to save changes to the document when I am closing even without me making any changes at all - just checking it - and then errors out with 26 when I press yes).I have checked the offsets and they seem to correctly point at the < and >+1 of the objects contents and the hashes seem to match. That makes me think maybe Acrobat Reader is correcting some mistake I have made in the pdf and then revalidating with a new byte range?Could someone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks

Whenever I try to open Adobe Animate, it just doesn’t work. It gets on “Loading document types,” and the program immediately closes itself. I’ve already tried replacing the DLL file, but that just caused a new problem — it gave me two error boxes, then Animate would open for a couple of seconds before crashing again. I’ve also tried resetting preferences. I really don’t want to update to a newer version, so I’m kind of stuck.

There is a useless advertisement at the bottom of the artboards panel, I don't want the function and the "i" button doesn't even do anything. I really need that space, my toolbars are already packed.  I can't find an option in the prefference menus to deactivate this. Does anybody know how to deactivate this? Please help me. Thanks.

I am looking for a streaming app that offers strong multi-language support and is suitable for users from different regions. Nowadays, many streaming platforms focus only on one or two languages, but I am interested in an app that provides content in multiple languages or at least offers reliable subtitle and audio language options. My main question to the community is: based on your personal experience, which streaming apps truly support multiple languages in a practical and user-friendly way? Are there any apps that include content from different countries and cultures on the same platform? I would also like to know if these apps provide a multilingual user interface, not just content in different languages.Additionally, I am curious whether there is a noticeable difference between free and paid streaming apps when it comes to multi-language availability and overall experience. If you have used any streaming app that fits these requirements, please share your experience, pros, or limi

Have used Elements for 20 years, but like turning pictures into art.  Have used Tpoaz and Snap 4 as add ons, or Plug-ins, but can no longer do so.  Can anyone recommend any additional programmes that can be a Plug-in, I want artistic modes and frames if possible like Studio 2 Topaz, and perhpas even the dreaded Ai.  If not, can you recommend any programmes as stand-alones, I particlarly likevArt Deco made from my photos? Thank you.

I just upgraded to 15.1 and updated my catalog. I did some shooting, edited the photos, etc. I needed to lighten one image and when I clicked on the folder I saw this. Then I started clicking on other folders. Nothing. I verified the photos still reside in these folders but LRC suddenly stopped showing.    What gives?

Hi everyone,Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Photoshop? It keeps corrupting/glitch or changing the fonts whenever I switch to a different one. Even after quitting Photoshop and reopening the file, the problem persists and happens repeatedly. It’s extremely frustrating—especially when I’m trying to get work done. I use Photoshop on both Mac and PC, and this issue occurs on both systems.Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this?
