Lightroom 14, 5, 1. When importing, I create a path (hard drive, folder, subfolder), but in the Library, LR creates a new hard drive, with the photos in the correct location, if I search for them in the Finder. But in the LR Folders I find two hard drives: in the newly created one, there is only the name of the subfolder, while in the normal one there are the other folders, but not the one just imported.

I am trying to run the ColdFusion 2025 Auto-Lockdown on ColdFusion Update 4. At first it was failing with the following error in the application log: Function getAdminSettings does not support adminpassword as an argument in ...CFIDE\lockdown\lockdown.cfc. I read on the Update 2 page (https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-2025-update-2.html), If you want to apply lockdown on this update, add the -Dcoldfusion.runtime.remotemethod.matchArguments flag. So I did that. Now I am getting a new error: The USERNAME parameter to the getAdminSettings function is required but was not passed in. Are there any other modification or jvm flags I need to add to run the auto-lockdown? Thank you.

Hi, this alert window was prompted by my Mac OS upgrade to 14.3.1 last week, never saw this until then.So there must be a conflict between Adobe's current CC Content Manager and the new Sonoma Mac OS. How do I patch this- Is there a place I can find the most recent CC Content Manager app and reinstall it? I've updated my main (Ps Ai, etc) apps but it doesn't fix the alert window popping up 10-20x a day.I know that in 2022 Adobe CC lagged behind Ventura OS, so is this more of the same?https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-ventura-compatibility-common-issues.htmlThanks so much.

I have an active sub to adobe photography tools. This sub includes photoshop on my pc & photoshop express on android. I just installed ps express on my phone and signed in successfully. Now, every time I use the app, there's a "get adobe express" popup. How do I make that go away without installing another app I don't want?

So I just updated from 24.0 to 24.5 and I am immediately having issues with being able to hold the spacebar to pan while I work. Previously if I hold space I could click and drag to pan, and then when I let go of the mouse it would stop panning. Now however it seems that if I let go it will continue to pan until I click again once or twice. This is agitating and is slowing down my workflow.I do not have gestures, flick panning, or overflow enabled and this is still happening.I'm using windows 10 build 19044.2965

Hello everyone I'm new to After Effects and I try to animate a path or vector, which should be animated like it is drawn. I followed this tutorial and was able to create that animation with the pen tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYWGWATVWVI)So when it is a straight line I can use the pen tool and let ae draw the line with the trim function. But now I want to outline a more complexe shape which I draw free hand with my graphic tablet. I tried to import a Illustrator file, but I wasn't able to add the trim function to it.  1. Can I draw free hand with the pen tool?2. How can I animate a line which I draw free hand with the brush tool? (The animation should also be like it is drawn.) 3. Other options? thx for any help.

Hi,   I am having issues in Tethering shoot, whereby lightroom will not connect to live view (but is able to import files from camera) and just hangs, it has to be killed in order quit. I am using lightroom on Intel Mac with MacOS Sequoia, camera is Canon 650D. Camera is able to connect via eos utlity and show live view.   Any help will be appreciated.   Thanks, TM

Recently my after effects has been automatically creating new compositions every time I import footage into a project. This becomes very annoying as I'm always importing lots of footage and always manually deleting the new comps after effects is making for each piece of footage. I've looked through the preferences, but there doesn't seem to be an option that controls this. This wasn't happening when I first starting using this version so I think I must've changed some setting but dont know how to change it back. Any idea how I can stop after effects from automatically creating new comp when I import footage?[Moved from After Effects Resources to the much more active After Effects support forum - moderator]

I have the Adobe Pro Business license and this comes up for me

I've been experiencing issues with the Adobe E-Signature process since last week. Although my signees recievd and signed the documents (and provided screenshots to that effect), my agreements do not update and neither do I receive notifications from the process.

Hello, I'm looking for a script to be able to create a group of all items on page and to do it for all page in the document. I found a script here https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/group-all-items-on-page-in-a-document/td-p/8710941 but on line :if (spreads.pageItems.length > 1) {I get an "undefined is not an object"Configuration :Windows 11Indesign 2022 / 17.2.1 X64Thanks

I can't seem to select the "Open PDF's from last session on Acrobat launch" option (screenshot below). The option is always greyed out for me. Please advise on how to fix this as it seems rather archaic to have to open all of the PDFs I previously had open each time my computer or Adobe restarts.  I am running Windows 10 and have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020.

Objective------------Creating a new page which allows you to amend dates in a table on the display, which then creates a “change log” in a SQL database table.  How it should work--------------------------Page displays a variable list of rows, and a field to allow entry of a new date value on each row (as each row may have a different value, or indeed no changes).  Each time a value is entered, we want to create a new “change log” record for that change.                example layout :                key     current value    data entry field to allow new value                key     current value    data entry field to allow new value - optional 2nd row

Dear community, i have been using and paying Adobe since 2009 and I would Love if one day i am contacted by Adobe and ask me what I think about their upcoming updates!! Why recently I can not use Hardware encoding when i choose VBR 2 pass in any codecs! That is totaly NOT LOGIC at all ? Why you changed it ? why it's not possible anymore. ? DO i have to go back to old version ? I have MacBook pro M1 Max Tahoe 26.0  Thank you.

In my tenant, in the SharePoint folders, PDFs will not open.Vedi screenshot.

When I open any password protected pdf files to Adobe Acrobat, it prompts for the password. If I click "Cancel" and try to open another PDF file, nothing happens.  Checking Task Manager, looks like the Acrobat process is stuck and not closing out after clicking Cancel.I would have to manually end the process to fix this issue to be able to open another PDF file.  The issue doesn't happen if I enter in the wrong password first to get an incorrect password notification window, and then click Cancel afterwards when it prompts for the password again, or if I enter in the correct password at first and then close out of it. I tried a couple different existing password protected files and creating a new password protected pdf file, but they're all causing the same issue.

Loving this! It helps get past the huge frustration of the selected layer view (which is really terrible IMO - a bit like looking through a microscope at a small part of a project and being smacked around the back of the head if you try and look at the bigger picture 😉 ) It really goes to show that everything makes more sense when you can see all the layers and how they interact, especially when you have animations timed differently.  One thing I would say - don't be afraid of showing ALL layers, not just those for the current scene. That would be even better and give a 100 mile-up overview. I think you definitely have the tendency of dumbing things down too much for the non-designer audience. Maybe have it as an option or another view option. Default to basic but give the designer users the option. If I want to see 367 layers, I'm fine with that! 😉 great work though team 🙂

I'm sure to have already asked this but I cannot find it anywhere, nor on search engines. In a music-related text, I need to show the octave of a note with a subscript digit. So, the middle-C on the piano would be C3 with 3 being subscripted. I am trying this GREP but it's not working:(?<=[A-G])\d This should be positive lookbehind for uppercase letters A to G, then applying the character style to the single digit following it.  Any idea why this may not be working? Thank you!

Hi everyone,I recently installed an Epson printer on my computer, and since then the colors in Adobe Illustrator have changed. When I open older EPS files, the colors look very different from how they originally were.I already uninstalled the printer, restarted my computer, and made sure the color profile settings are the same as before the installation — but the colors are still off.Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it?Thanks in advance! 🙏

Thomas

Hello, I am experiencing a very annoying colour shift in my photos after Airdropping them from my Apple Macbook (Air 2023) to my Apple Iphone 14 Pro. After playing around it seems there is a colour tint shift towards a green tint. Adding some Magenta back into the image using the in-Iphone Image Editor brings it someway back but its still not perfect. There could be slight shift in White Balance too. To be specific I am working with 16-Bit files in Photoshop on Macbook Air with colour profile: LCD. I am exporting at PNG24 or JPEG 100% (Tried both) with both colour space settings "Convert to SRGB" and "Embed Colour Profile" ticked. Airdropping to Iphone 14 Pro. On both Mac and Iphone I have True Tone and Auto-Brightness turned off. Thinking its an export or colour space issue i tried searching online and found to my amazement this topic has been raised hundreds of times across various platforms (Apple Community, Adobe Community, Photoshop Community) yet no commu

I hate the fact that I can't go back in my generations and copy my full prompts that created that certain generation. As it stands, I can only copy the one line that appears under the four generations and everything else is cut off. Fix it. Every other AI that I use has a feature to copy the prompt that created the generation. I'm usually rewriting promts as I go and if I can't go back to see what promt produced what, it's very limiting.

I noticed that on iPhone/iPad, when Lightroom is opened, True Tone does not automatically turn off. In an older thread, it seems like Lightroom used to do that? So this might be a regression (or it never did)? Apple has a plist key called UIWhitePointAdaptivityStyle that Adobe can set so the device will automatically turn off Night Shift/True Tone to achieve constant white point. For a professional photo editing tool, I think this is essential.  Would be great if such implementation could be considered (seems like a one line code change!) 🙂

Hi all! I don't know what keys I'm hitting, but I get the emoje panel popping up constantly... and I never need to use it. I went in to shortcuts to try to delete whatever the shortcut is, but there's nothing I could find about emojis. So I'm guessing it's called something else. If you know what it is, I'd love to remove it. It's so annoying to have it pop up all the time.
