Solved

hi, I'm trying to use Adobe Express and want to insert a rectangle shape and make this an exact size (2 in x 1.5 in). How do I do this?? I can so far only see how to drag the image arbitrarily to change the size.

It's all in the title. But here's a screenshot of the problem.Because of this problem, local AI functionality is much slower.I have already tried the troubleshooting steps on the troubleshooting page, but without success. This is intolerable considering that I pay for the subscription to this software.I've attached my dxdiag file.I'm also experiencing the same issue with Camera Raw versions 18.4.1 through 18.6. Only Camera Raw 18.4 still works correctly. And my NVIDIA driver is fully up to date with version 616.56, released yesterday.

Is it possible to export / save photos (Jpegs as well as raw files) to my external drive without any settings joining in on the export? I more or less just want to get the original file down to my computer, without it being affected by any changes. I’ll write a short explanation of my desired workflow / setup to hopefully further explain what I’m looking for. I want to use Lightroom cloud-based only, without involving Lightroom Classic. I start by importing my photo files into Lightroom (synced to cloud). I then cull the photos, deleting anything I don’t want. The remaining photos I rename, using a name structure which I like. Those photos are automatically saved to a local backup, sure, but I want more manual control over the folder structure etc. So basically all I want to do is save / export / download those remaining, renamed files, to my external hard drive. Is export using Original + Settings the only way to do this? Or can you name another way which doesn’t include sidecar files

Long time LR classic (windows 11 w/ networked 25T NAS) and med term LR cc user (on an iPad when shooting and on road) who has successfully been able to import, visualize, and edit pictures on both platforms using the synched feature and Adobe Cloud Storage. The work flow is 1)import pictures from my Canon camera directly into a new folder in LR classic and onto the 25T NAS with the same folder name for permanent storage with a copy to a 4T external HD (with additional redundancy by weekly automatic upload into the Amazon Glacier S3 Cloud Storage). 2) create a collection (same name) from the new folder  and sync to Adobe Cloud Storage (1T). 3) I edit on any device (windows computer, IPad,iphone, web) and all are synched.  Problem is when I go the other way when I'm on the road shooting and want to edit before i arrive home. Workflow is:1)import pictures from my Canon camera directly into a new album in LR cc and sync to Adobe Cloud Storage (1T). Edit away2)when i return home, I log onto

I have a scanned document, a simple list of text. It's crooked, and I want to straighten it.I know that the 'enhance PDF' will produce a list of options, one of which is 'deskew.' I've done that. It didn't help; the document is still crooked. Am I missing something? I just want to rotate the whole image by a small amount; I don't really care if it's automatic or I have to do it. Acrobat Pro DC for Mac, Yosemite 10.10.5. The scan was with a cheap HP all-in-one, if that matters, but it shouldn't.Thanks,/s/ Rankin Johnson IVrankin@briefwright.com

I need to automatically call a JavaScript function when a Captivate course first loads. IIRC this was somewhat possible in Classic Captivate, but I haven’t been able to find a way to do it in New Captivate. I know I could manually edit a call into the generated HTML, but I’d prefer a solution that didn’t require manual intervention after every publish.Thanks.

I have Photoshop 21.2.4 When I select the Elliptical Marquee tool the Path button does not show up. I'm trying to write text in a circle.  If I select the Pen tool the Path button shows up

We always make animations in AE and export to .mp4.However, we'd like to learn how to import our AE project in to a software programme and export to .SVG (export to SVG from AE would be nice)What is the correct work flow for this task? And indeed, what is the correct Adobe package or other?Animated GIFs and .swf files aren't quite right. This is just for simple animated logos for the time being. On a transparent layer even. Are SVGs limited to line art?All help appreciated!Matt

Moving MasterCollection CS6 from a laptop that has Windows 11 Home to a laptop that has Windows 11 Pro; CS6 was properly deactivated on the former. Windows 11 Pro does not allow the installation to complete; after a restart, the laptop enters a deadlock repair loop and, as a result, has to be completely reset. Any attempt to reactivate CS6 on the previous laptop running Windows 11 Home using a valid serial number was unsuccessful, as the system claims that the maximum number of computers allowed has already been exceeded. How can I reactivate CS6?

I've designed websites for small businesses for the past 15 years and have used Photoshop to support this work. I originally purchased a Photoshop CS4 Extended license then upgraded to CS5 Photoshop a few years later. I have been using the single Photoshop CS5 license for over 10 years and have installed it on many different PC's and on as many as 3 different PC's at any given time, with never any issues. Up until a month ago, all my PC's have been running Windows 10. So because support for Windows 10 is stopping in a few months I thought it would be best to upgrade to Windows 11, at least on my main business computer that supports my website business. Unfortunately, it turned out that this hardware was incompatible with a Windows 11 upgrade so I decided to purchase a new Windows 11 PC from Dell instead. So during the configuration of this new business PC, I started installing and configuring my applications, including Photoshop CS5. Again, there wasn't any problem with this installati

Too hard??  I have been using Adobe products for 20 years and never had a single problem highlighting a pdf.  Today I find I can't highlight a PDF and I really need to.  I have spent the entire day, its now 3:30pm, trolling the internet trying to find out how to highlight and Adobe PDF document.  Epic fail Adobe.

I have a licence for my school to use creative cloud at home. Before I knew that I had a plan I did a free trial and tried to contact the support and ask if they know how I can activate my account. They did change my email to a one that doesn’t work anymore and now I can’t access my account. Also my school IT team is soo slow and I'm sorry to use these words but they are no help… I just need a human from here to help me… But for that I need an active plan, like what??? why??????? fml[Profanity removed by moderator]

Can I create a paint by numbers art of an adobe stock image and sell it? I just want to make sure so that I am sure about what I am selling.

Hi, I was hoping for some help/ advice.  I have created a brand in adobe express and shared it with my team. When they access the brand and try to use the template it shows up that the fonts in the template are view only.  We have tried uploading the fonts onto there adobe express however this only adds the fonts generally and doesn't replace the view only fonts. So it still says the fonts are view only even when they upload there own versions.  It seems to be whoever uploads the fonts to the brand can use them however everyone else it is shared with can only view them.  I was hoping for some help with this!

My premiere Beta 27 update (27.0.0.44) is incompatible with my older system and can’t access it.  Is there a way to rollback this update or download 27.0.0.39?  I’m guessing I’m SOL until I update GPU, but fingers crossed.

Does anyone know how I switch back to classic experience? This new experience is just awful and far too time consuming?! I use this programme every day to send bulk documents with multiple signatures and it's taking me an hour to do something that would usually take 10 minutes!!

I had been using Acrobat Pro on my MacBook with M2 Max chip,  MacOS 26.1. It opened PDF files, but would hang when exiting. Attempting a fix, I uninstalled Acrobat, reset my MacBook, and reinstalled Acrobat. Now, when I try to open Acrobat from the Launchpad or from double-clicking a PDF, 2 Acrobat icons appear in the dock (Acrobat and Helper), but the app does not open a window. The dock says, "Application Not responding" for both. After a few minutes, the Acrobat icon disappears from the dock; the Helper remains. I repeated the uninstall / reset / install 3 times with no difference.

I have a DNG from a scanner that fails to allow editing in Lightroom web. Other DNGs from the same scanning session work fine.I have edited previously the picture both in Lightroom app (Android tablet) and web (Chrome 150.0.7871.128 (Build oficial) (64 bits)). No problem switching from one version to another until now.I know that the edits are updated because if I edit in my tablet (I can still use it) I see the edits in web. But if I try to open cropping tool (or any other), the spinner keeps spinning but never opens the file. I’ve checked it in Chrome and Firefox with same result. In console I see: VM15 assets:2 ERROR: The JSX attribute "showUpgrade" was passed to a component declaring a property of the same name. Ignoring the JSX attribute.nrWrapper @ VM15 assets:2VM15 assets:2 preset: getMetadata returned no info, skipping /v2/catalogs/d87293a6359541dbb8c57a7da0eae33d/assets/9510c4c65d0e4c2f840a1dfeedca618c/revisions/1b2873bbdbf04cc29e3d001bcd343ba9/masternrWrapper @ VM15 assets:2a

In Lightroom once you apply AI denoise to an image, the program becomes nearly unresponsive so editing is impossible.  For that reason I always have to apply AI denoise last, and I do it in a batch.  However, if I should want to go back and edit my images further, I now have to remove AI denoise from each one individually in order to edit them without Lightroom hanging constantly and taking ~20 seconds to apply any changes I make.  Please make it possible to remove AI denoise from multiple images at once so that they can be edited.  At the moment if I try and copy the Detail category from an image with no AI denoise applied and then paste to other images, it does not remove denoise.

I have been editing flowers for over a month with absolutely no problem and all of a sudden I am getting shadowing appearing when painting back in on a mask layer. The only way to avoid is to leave a large gap around the edges which is totally useless and before I could paint right up to the edges of leaves.my process is1 open photo2 overlay a texture background (using pace embedded as Jo other way currently works with my version3 Add a mask layer4 set opacity of overlay to around 40%select mask layer and paint over parts of flower I want to see - before I could go right up to edge of leaves with no problem5 select texture layer and adjust opacity until desired effectworked perfect until today and now if I go anywhere near the edges of the flower, a shadow appears outside the edge and on the background texture :(any tips on what I might have accidentally switched on would be gratefully receivedthanks in advance

Photoshop Elements 2020 – activation limit reached – old computers no longer availableI have a legitimate purchased copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and have the original 24-digit serial number. The software was previously activated on two computers, but I no longer have access to either of those computers.I am now trying to install Photoshop Elements 2020 on a replacement Windows PC, but I receive the message:"The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers."Is there any way for Adobe to reset or clear the previous activations so that I can continue using my existing legitimate licence?I can provide proof of purchase and the serial number privately if required.I do not want to purchase another licence — I simply need to transfer my existing Photoshop Elements 2020 licence to my replacement computer.
