Solved

Dear all,I work in the field of live broadcasting and use the Capture function in Adobe Premiere to create clips – recording video using a capture card (HDMI, SDI). This feature is only available in older versions of Adobe Premiere (e.g., 23.6.7). I cannot find this version in the Adobe Cloud app (the latest available version is 24.0). Does anyone have a link to this version? Or to the latest version with video recording functionality?

I can't find a post on it, maybe I missed it, so I won't spoil the surprise if there is one. But there is ANOTHER great feature (after the New Masking feature, and the media search feature) that is so excellent. I really thank you... remember the hub-bub of the obsolete effects...  so cool... thanks again.

Fed up of fighting with your green screen?! Adobe Express has got you covered!   Remove the background from any video with one click. Record yourself directly inside the app, then browse the Adobe Stock library for a new background, import your own, or generate something brand-new with the amazing AI text-to-image - all without stepping out of Express!   What's your favourite video tip in Adobe Express?

I asked Firefly to make me words (like ideas) floating up in a translucent background, it gave me nonsense words instead of the words I typed in.

Im not sure it this is the place to go for featcher requests but one that I would love to see is color gradient being added to live text. it is soo difficult to have to outline the text and create a compound shape just to add a gradient, and then have to undo everything because the client wants the wording changed. or redoing it when you forgot what the font was from an old document... I would like it all nativly, without plugins, if there even are plugins for this.

Hello 🙂Is it possible to make action which will place or paste something into specific Layer  (if i have few of them). I was trying to lock other layers and just leave unlocked the one where i want to paste my objects but its still trying to place it in same layer as it was from begining. I know its possible to make it on scripting but i would like to know if there is possibility to make it in action without scripting

Exactly like it sounds. I have a document that auto-populates a date 33 days in the future when printed. (Thanks to this thread.) It populates correctly when opened in Acrobat Pro, but when printing directly from SharePoint, it prints today's date like so: Any ideas how to fix this? This is the Will Print script: var d = new Date();d.setDate(d.getDate()+33);this.getField("FutureDate").value = util.printd ("dddd, mmmm d, yyyy", d);

What I do most with Acrobat Pro is sending my exported pdf to my default Windows email client (Thunderbird) as an attachment so I can send it to colleages or clients. Since the last update the "email" button disappeared when I click on Share... I dont need feedback approval or read only cloud functions, I need an email button: (please) in one click like it used to be in the previous Acrobat versions. I don't like to do 4 clicks before I can reach this button. Why is Adobe is making it so difficult for its users to just use their own prefered apps? No Gmail, no Outlook, no WhatsApp, just my personal chosen email app will do. I hope you will bring this basic feature back as a direct button in the toolbar.

I have read the terms of use and the font licensing page FAQ's and still feel a bit confused! (or maybe just anxious and want to make sure I'm getting it right!) Tried to speak to someone on the Adobe Chat but they pointed me here. Please can someone confirm, Adobe fonts can be used in logos and also then trademarked?  I know it states Yes on Adobe Fonts FAQ's, but then it refers to the terms of use, as long as it's abided by those. I have read through and can't see anything that then says you can't, but please can someone clarify, as I feel like I'm going in circles. Thank you!

I studied the following documentation:https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/acrobatsdk/index.htmlAdobe Acrobat SDK states that we can make use of JavaScript to develop PDF plugins / Add-on. https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/library/samples/Samples_JavaScript.htmlThis link explains JavaScript Samples and states that we can find these samples in the Adobe SDK JavaScript Samples folder After downloading Adobe SDK from https://developer.adobe.com/console/ I can only find samples for C++ code not for JavaScript samples.  The folder "/Acrobat_DC_SDK_Windows_2021_v3/Adobe/Acrobat DC SDK/Version 1/JavaScriptSupport/" only contains a PDF file. Can anyone guide me, on where to find sample examples for the JavaScript add-ons?

I just purchased a Surface Pro 9. There is a TON of lag while using the Slim Pen 2, but no lag if i just use my finger. The pen functions with Photoshop perfectly... It only lags in Fresco. I have smoothing turned off, and have tried different brushes. I have also re-installed Fresco twice. Am i missing something?

I love Adobe Express, the mobile app especially. I made a 4 minute video on the PC app and it will not download no matter where I try to send it, download, dropbox, google drive, etc. etc.  Help! hahah

In Ventura, there's been an ongoing problem with print settings not being reliably saved. (See https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/updated-macos-ventura-13-2-1-print-settings-not-saving/m-p/13584398) Has anyone tried this with the Sonoma beta? (Keeping my hopes up...) Thanks,Russell

I can't get the star rating to appear below the thumbnails in the bottom bar in Lightroom Classic. Please help. This is shown in the screenshot.

So I'm shooting with two Sony PXW-FS5s. You can't customize file names, and the names are the same, so I ingest the clips into separate folders and import those as bins. Now I need to create a multicam sequence, but since I can't select two clips in different bins, I don't see "Create multicam sequence" command. Is there a way to create a multicam sequence from clips in a different bin, or do I have to put everything in the same bin first? System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.0.0.14    OS: Windows v10.0.22631, RAM: 63.83 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

I've been working with several documents and noticed that the text boxes aren't visually aligned, which results in a distorted or uneven text layout. Interestingly, the issue seems to "resolve" itself when I zoom in to 180% or higher. I'm wondering if there's a proper fix for this, or if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Hello!I asked my system administrator to grant me the Developer role, but the feature is missing in its admin console. Only two roles exist: user and administrator. I need the developer role to accesso the developer console. Is the Developer role available only for certain plans?

HiIs there any way I can change a feature in the layers window? I keep hitting the unlink symbol, when all I need is activating that specific layer. So when I need a specific layer I end up unlinking the mask in stead, and then I continue working in the previous layer, that I intended to leave. It happens numerous times a day, to an extend that it frustrates me! Is it possible for me to change that feature, it could be linking and unlinking a mask on a layer by for example using command/option/ctrl whilst clicking on the unlink symbolCurrent Photoshop is CC2025 and system is Mac Sequoia 15.5, if that is relevantThank you so much!!

Hi everyone, how can I record video with my webcam from Premiere Pro? Everyone says I have to click on the "capture" option, but that option doesn't appear in the program.my camera is connected via usb.

I spent an entire afternoon creating a form.  This was my first time doing so.  Foolishly, I saved as Reader Extended PDF and overwrote the original file (Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools).  Now when I open the file, I am unable to edit the form even though I am the original creator.  I choose “Prepare Form” with the file open and then hit “Start”.  I get a message that states: “This document restricts some Adobe Acrobat features to allow for extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader.  To create a copy of the document that is not restricted (and has no extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader), click Save a Copy…” When I “Save a Copy” as instructed, I get an error message that reads, “You cannot edit this file as a form due to its security settings.” I am now clearly stuck, and the entire day was a waste of time.  Does anyone have any suggestions for recovering my ability to edit this form? Much thanks

I would like to make a standalone PDF of a list of markers that would be able to open to the correct page of the PDF of the content. Basically, I'd like to distribute a separate PDF of a list of markers so that internal team members can use it to navigate to specific markers I've coded within the user manual that would actually go out to customers. Any hints on if this is possible or how to make this work? Thanks for any feedback.

I ran into what I believe is a bug just now, but would like confirmation.(1) Create text box and add a stroke (add inset or other formatting to make it look nicer if you like).(2) Insert text as well as an anchored object into that text.(3) Change the blend mode of the stroke of the text box.For me, in InDesign 2015.4 on a Mac, the anchored object is given the blending mode of the stroke as well. I would expect that to only affect the stroke, and none of the content within the box. The anchored graphic I'm inserting doesn't even have a stroke. I tried this in a new file with different content and got the same result.I'm hoping that I'm missing something obvious. I'd like to keep this with everything in neat, single, self-contained, and auto-fitting boxes. The effect I'd like is for the stroke of the text box only to blend (multiply) with a background. The workaround I'm considering is doing the stroke as an outer glow instead, but I'll have rounded corners. Thanks,Rich

I am using Adobe Reader and would like to print two copies of the same document on the same sheet. It doesn't seem to allow me to do that no matter what settings I put in the print dialog box or the printer driver. I have told it "2 up" and the paper size is 18 x 12, the document itself is 8.5 x 11 so there should be plenty of room. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks,  Mark
