When I accidently click "Remove Background" Photoshop pops up a dialog to offer to remove the background. After clicking the X on the top right corner of the dialog, you would expect PS to follow commands and cancel the process. Oh no, it doesnt want to give up that easy. It wants to create frustration and heartache for you as much as it can due to bad coding. In proceeds to tell me that its "Removing Background" and when I click cancel, it does nothing except showing that its still doing something?? I had to wait until it looked like it was done. Cancel button does nothing even when its done? I clicked the X and this time it told me there was an error. Well, I knew that.

Running Photoshop 24.1.0 on Windows 11 64 bit.Suddenly, my Plugins sub menu has gone gray. Plugins Panel,  Browse Plugins, and Manage Plugins sub-menu items are all gray.My plugins stopped appearing in the now missing Plugins Panel. My Adobe Creative Cloud shows the missing plugins as installed. None of the plugins have been updated by their authors lately. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugins and get a message that they were successfully installed. I tried uninstalling and re-installing PS with same results. The Plugins that were actually legacy extensions are showing up in the extension window. All other plugins are unavailable because the plugin menue is all gray. Any help appreciated.

Hi I have a doubt with the styles. For example, I have several paragraphs with a style that sets the font to 10pt. If I modify a couple of lines and set the font to 11pt without modifying the style, I will get the symbol (+) next to the style name when I select that part of the text. But that modification can be easy to see. Let's suppose that now there are many modifications and maybe not all so obvious, color change but very subtle, or modification of values in the hyphenation... Is there a way to know which are the modifications made outside of the style and which generate the (+). I had the idea that it was somehow shown in the summary of the style settings that comes out in the “general” option of the “paragraph style options” menu but it doesn't seem to be so. Thank you very much.

Sometimes I cut out small video clips that are less than a second long. The problem is that now I have more than 3 thousand video fragments in various projects and I don't want to create nested sequences "one by one" and rename them with the original name of the video. Is there a way to create a nested sequence with the original name of the video and quickly? The way I create a nested sequence with the original name of the video is like this:Right click on the fragment / properties / copy the name of the video. Then right click again on the video fragment / Nest / paste the name of the video instead of "Nested Sequence 1".Doing it that way is going to take days and days. The "Make Subclip" option does not work for me because it does not allow me to resize, add effects, trim or remove things within the video. Besides, not all the videos have the same dimensions (4k / 1080/720), and when I export I want all the videos to be in 1080p.

I'm sorry, but WHERE THE HELL IS THE PREFERENCES BUTTON. I'm on mac, running audition 25.2. I simply wan't to toggle synchronize clips with waveform editor. It's not under the edit dropdown menu, and the only thing that comes up when I search "preferences" in the help menu is "Time display<synchonize with time display preferences." Is that the same thing at synchronize with wavform editor? Anywho, this is really frustrating 🙂

I have an audio file of a podcast, and the client would like the audio waveform shown on screen, moving along as the person speaks. What is the best way to do this using either premier pro or after effects?

why did these photos get rejected? can someone plz help, thanks!

Hello everyone,I recently encountered an issue with the import function for Adobe Pro to convert Word/Excel documents into a PDF. This is happening with multiple people. We are on Windows 11 Enterprise, Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit (checked for updates), and running on Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise. Previosuly we were on Office 2019. Using the import function within Adobe would work flawlessly, allowing to browse and select Word/Excel files and it would convert to PDF. However, ever since we upgraded to 365 Apps, we now encounter an error:At first, I thought it was just that specific document. It turns out, it happens to all Excel/Word documents. I even tried creating a new document and would encounter the same error. I have tried installing the 32-bit of Adobe and re-installing Adobe, this did not work. The Acrobat PDF Maker add-in for Word/Excel is active. I disabled and re-enabled, this did not help.  Opening the Word/Excel document and using the the "Create and Share

After a last update, the Copy Settings command no longer works and Lightroom locks. How can do it?

Thanks!

Anyone else having a problem with the Harminization filter not identifying all Layers in the panel? There are times when I have had 2 Layers in the Layers Panel and only showing 1 when using the Harmonization filter. Layer I want to change is selected prior to opening this filter. Not sure why the Neural filters are kept in Beta mode. Some of these filters have been out for several years. Maturity level should move them out of Beta. Thanks

I need this answer broken down to a level a non-IT guy can do.     I am trying to complete a telework document for the Navy.  I am required to sign it.  When I go to e-sign the document it states: "The document could not be saved.  There was a problem reading the document (105)."    The file explorer was closed, I don't even know how to turn on the preview feature.  Other documents were JUST e-signed minutes before.  The customer support system for Adobe sucks, and if there was a competitor I would leave adobe's worthlessness in the dustbin of history, but alas I am stuck.  I need help with this now, as I can't work until this form is completed, and I can't complete this form due to this issue.

Is there still an Accessibility panel in Adobe Animate CC? I can add accessibility with a Movie Clip instance name, or through ActionScript, but this help document (when you scroll down) says there is an accessibility panel under Window > Other Panels > Accessibility. Is this page just wrong?Creating accessible content in Adobe Animate CC

OK, I insert two pages into one of my chapter drafts all the time to have a bit more room for a section ("story"). I just inserted two pages after the selected page. What's wrong with this picture? If I just hit the + button/icon ("buttcon") at the bottom twice, everything works normally. But I have been using the menu to insert two pages at a time for years. I haven't updated InDesign recently, so what changed? I just installed the latest slipstream update (20.4.1) and this still happens. A minor inconvenience with an easy workaround, but really? I guess a semicolon got left out or somethings.

This is an issue I have on CF2016, but I've tried CF Fiddle and it's the same result on all versions, so I presume it's not a bug. I noticed that calculations were not rounding correctly, for example if the calculation gave a result of 7.875 and  I used NumberFormat to round it to two decimal places, I would have expected it to round up to 7.88 After a lot of playing around, and a few conversations with ChatGTP 🙂 I hacked around and found something unusual, if I change the value to a string, within the NumberFormat, it works. Here is the code for the two tests with and without the ToString. Notice the different in rounding. Am I missing something? It gives me the right answer and I can't seem to break it, but it appears to be an odd way to go about things <CFOUTPUT><b>Test 1</b><br>Before rounding: #aff_payment#<br>After NumberFormat rounding: <b>#NumberFormat(aff_payment,"9999999.99")#</b><br><br&

I get this error message: Could not open “Bar-bellied Pitta Ken Behrens.jpg” because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete). These same filesa open on my froends computers with the same version of Photoshop. Thanks Sam

Getting the "Something went wrong" + "Please try again later" error message when trying to apply blur (without any blur previously applied) on an image in Lightroom. I usually encounter this when my internet connection is slow. I usually resolve this by waiting till my connection improves, and sometimes just be restarting the app. Now neither of those is true, and the last stage is gets to when applying the blue is "Detecting depth using AI..." before the error is displayed. Was working fine about ~12 hours ago as of posting this. I'm thinking this is a server issue rather than a local one, but if there's anything I could do to resolve it on my end, let me know, thanks.

For example:My initial data for:  var valueA1=ABCDEDR; Now I perform a transformation on it:Repeat for the first digit, and the last digit. I get the following:var valueA2=AABCDEDRR; Next, mix it again. At the end, merge in a specific character, e.g. var ValueB=yesOKNO@22@ Eventually get:var ValueA3=AABCDEDRRyesOKNO@22@; Thank you very much.

Hello, I am editing a prose InDesign document. All existing instances of single and double quotes are typographers quotes (curly quotes). However, when I type and add new single and double quotes, they appear straight. In Preferences, I have type set to Typographer's quotes, and I have Dictionary quotes set to curly quotes. I know that I can use keyboard shortcuts to type curly quotes (Shift and Option with bracket key), and that works, but what a pain. There are a few instances where I need straight quotes, like in expressing geographic coordinates minutes and seconds, but 99.9% of the time, I need curly quotes. I have the latest versions of Mac and Indesign. Any help would be much appreciated on how to fix this problem.

Hey everyone, I keep getting a 400 error when I issue POST calls to the User Management Action API. The documentation says that 400 errors occur when "some parameters of the request were not understood by the server or the Service Account Integration certificate has expired." Is there a problem with my JSON? I'm working on Federated/Enterprise IDs, so domain isn't included in body (though I have tried that). Adding a responseID doesn't fix the error, either. Call 1 Body[{"username": "test_user_1@iu.edu","do": [{"update": {"lastname": "yellow"}}]}] Call 2 Body[{"user": "test_user_1@iu.edu","do": [{"removeFromOrg": {"deleteAccount": false}}]}] Thanks in advance for your help.

I have the full creative cloud package, which includes acrobat Pro. I see that it's in my package, but if I install it, the regular acrobat is installed on my computer. I've tried everything that's recommended, uninstall-reinstall, account disconnection etc. Nothing works. I'm on a Mac and my Mac is up to date. I need to make an interactive pdf with calculation formulas and the ‘calculation’ function is offered just the Pro. Help 🙂Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
