Solved

I have a mac laptop which is running Photoshop just great including several 3rd party plugins which are very useful and important to me.I just acquired a new MacMini M4, and I see it as an activated device on my account. However, I can't add any plugins; I get the message "Couldn't install plugin, please try again. Error code -2. Help Center".My understanding that a -2 error code is a file system error, but I'm unsure how this works with the plug ins. There's plenty of space on the mac mini SSD.Logging in and out of my Adobe account as well as restarting the mac mini doesn't seem to help.TIA for any help or pointers.

Hi all,   I was hoping somebody could tell me - how do you switch from a window view to a tabbed view in Acrobat Pro DC? Currently, Acrobat opens all new PDFs in an entirely separate window; I would like Acrobat to only be one window, but with several tabs - one for each PDF.   I've searched pretty extensively, and have found solutions that seem as if they'd work for other versions - but when following the same instructions, I end up in a menu with different selection options. I'll provide a screen-shot and link to the instructions I've found (they're all pretty similar).   I've checked each of the categories, and can't seem to find the option anywhere. I've also looked through the Adobe Acrobat DC Help PDF, and can't seem to find the answer. Does anybody have any idea how I can change from a window to tabbed view?   Thanks in advance for your help!     Instructions:     Keeping Tabs on Your Documents | Adobe Document Cloud   &nbsp

Someone please tell me they know an easy fix for this. Every time I'm trying to apply Lens Blur in lightroom, I get a horirble halo effect around the subject. I'm able to fine tune this with a brush but it's so tedious and takes far too long. Does anyone know why this is happening and if there's an easy solution?

Gr

If I create generative ai images of public figures that have been dead for 100+ years (like Shakespeare or Beethoven), how do I go about filling out the model release form? When uploading AI images, there is an option to choose "People and Property are fictional." But, these public figures are not fictional, so what do I do after that? Do I have to fill out a model release form? If so, what do I fill in on the various slots? If I don't have to fill out a release form, do I check the "People and Property are fictional" box since the people have long fallen into the public domain? Thanks!

Hello, I know this topic has been discussed in the past but I'm looking for a bit more information. I've had PS CS6 for for about 8 years now and recently got a 75" display with a native resolution of 3840x2160. As most know, there is an major issue with the UI being too small when running in 3840x2160. My display has 59ppi, and I heard that CS6 was made for 96ppi. I understand that there should not be an issue if the displays ppi is under 96ppi. Which in my case it is. I just want to confirm a few things. Is running CS6 in 1920x1080 my best option? I know there are a lot of scaling methods out there and maybe that is a better option. Whatever my best option is, does it make sense for me to get a professional camera? I have been of the fence about getting a camera for several years now. I've always wanted one but with the CS6 display issue, it might not make any sense. For example, I was looking at the Canon EOS R5. PLEASE DO NOT MENTION UPGRAGING TO A SUBSCRIPTION! THIS

I have audio from different sources synchronized to video in a multicam sequence. Now that they are synchronized, I want to make sure they don't become unsynced. Is there a way that I can now lock the audio to the video so if they get out of sync, Premiere will tell me just as it will if the audio from a camera becomes unsynced to the video from it?

I recorded some "On-Hold" messages for our phone system which I produced the finals in Audition CC.  Unfortunately it ends up that the phone system (Avaya) requires a specific recording type and I'm not figuring out an export scheme to match what it requires.CCITT u-Law 8.000 kHz, 8 Bit, MonoWill someone knowledgeable on audio formats and the ability of Audition to export to this format let me know the settings or if it's even possible? Thanks,Dave

Hi folks, I have been struggling to achieve a simple task, which I am sure anyone on here will ace! could you help? I have a selection of images - all different pixel dimensionsI need to create a visual embargo notice for each imageI would like to increase the canvas size at the top of each image by xxI would then like to add centred text to the newly created canvas size at the top.Ideally with consistent txt size across the image set, the caveat here - should the pixel dimensions of one image been narrower on one images vs another, the txt auto fits to that size.I would like to save this as an action, so I can create a droplet. Is this possible? Best wishes Looking forward to the help! fingers crossed

Where are the local text styles stored? How to delete text styles from the properties panel one does not use anymore?

Hey there, Newbie here. I managed to create a book cover in Illustrator, get it uploaded to Amazon KDP print (massive thanks to you guys helping me with last problem!!!!) and, after a fine proof copy, hit publish on Amazon. So far so good. Reader copies look nearly as good as the proof, so I know my original file can create a satisfactory printed cover. However, when I try to create a PDF of the cover for Ingram Spark (the necessary second printer for bookstores and libraries) the file suddenly gets very thin white lines/rectangles around many of the images, esp along the spine. Presumably, these will show up on the final book cover if they're in the PDF. Question is: how do I get rid of them? Ingram Spark requires the PDF be either X-1a:2001 or X-3:2002, so that's what I'm selecting when I save a copy as PDF in Illustrator. If I save it as Illustrator Default PDF, the file is fine--no lines/boxes. Here's a screenshot of the PDF with the lines. You might have to loo

Hi everyone,I’ve had an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription since August last year, and Adobe Firefly is listed among the apps included in my plan. When I try to use Firefly – especially for video generation – I’m asked to upgrade or purchase a separate plan. But Firefly should be included in the plan I already pay for.I managed to speak briefly with a support agent, who told me this issue wasn’t in their area of expertise and that they would forward me to the right team. That didn’t happen. After that, the chatbot took over, looping through predefined options without letting me continue with a real person.I find this level of support disappointing and unhelpful, especially given the cost of the subscription. Can anyone from Adobe or the community clarify what’s going on? Has anyone solved this issue? Thanks in advance to those who can help.

I'm sure I received notice of this change, but I did not realize Adobe kept my full resolution photos under "All Photos on Lightroom (cloud version) and was eating up my storage. My workflow while traveling was to let it upload the full resolution photos, move them out of the "Syned Photos" folder in LR Classic (and that used to remove the full resolution version from the cloud). I now have over 22,000 photos in the All Photos folder in LR (cloud). I've stopped all syncing trying to figure out what was eating up my storage. Two questions. 1) What setting do I need to turn off to change this behavior. It creates another step in the workflow & makes no sense unless the purpose is to sell more cloud storage to people who can't figure out what is going on. 2nd question. How do I bulk delete 22,000 photos so I can resync the smart previews only, which is how it worked before this latest change. Thank you.

Meri

I'm having trouble figuring out while playing back footage it will shift to a green tint. I did update to 23.5.

Hello. It would be great to add in masking (in Lr, Ps and Acr) the vibrance slider. It is more usufel than Saturation. Also many cameras now have amazing Dynamic Range and it would be very good the option to add more brightness in the exposure and in Highlights, shadows. Many time we have to use the same masking just to add them.Best regards.

i paid every month and now canceled subscription.they charged over 80 euros.i cant get money back and cant use app.isnt it fair that i can still use app because i paid?

After recent Illustrator update (last week), my artboards no longer show up in the Artboard panel. Instead, where the artboard list would normally populate, this is what appears. I have "Show Artboards" selected and I have not changed anything in my Workspace settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a suggestion for discussion. Over the last 6 months on this forum there have been a high volume of users in trouble with 1. Updates on Windows 11 23 H2 to Win 11 24 H2 2. NVidia Studio driver updates (and possible interaction with Windows) and AMD graphics drivers. 3. Intel iGPU Driver Updates   It is clear in the background Microsoft have been updating Win 11 24H2 affecting Graphics performance, so have NVidia with many driver updates. Also some information from Gaming community that more recent updates from NVidia addressing the new 5000 Series cards have upset 3000 and 4000 series GPU's. Is this true? .... not easy to verfy. Intel have also been releasing iGPU driver updates very regularly for iCore and Ultra processors containing iGPU engines, particularly after Win 11 24H2 hit the streets. One assumes with fixes.   For users trying to navigate all this is a nightmare and when video graphics fail to work correctly anymore in the application .... e.g Premiere

Hallo! Vielen Dank!!!
