This seems different from the object style, there is no Reset to base option here. The following code only copied an empty style B and did not inherit the data from A. var baseSty = app.documents[0].cellStyles.itemByName('A'); //alert(baseSty.parent); //exit(); newSty = baseSty.duplicate(); newSty.name = 'B'; newSty.basedOn = baseSty;But you commented out this line://newSty.basedOn = baseSty;Discovered that B can inherit A's data, but based on 'none' Manual operation also has the same effect. This may be the difference between manual "direct copying" and "based on new creation".I don't know why they can't have both?

When I try to print a booklet, every other page prints upside down. I've set it up as f&b, short edge bind, legal/landscape, with booklet selected.

Hi Adobe Support,I'm hoping an Adobe representative can help me.I'm trying to cancel my subscriptions, but every time I click "Cancel plan", the website returns the message: "An error occurred. Please try again."I've already tried:Multiple browsers Refreshing the page Logging in againThe same error happens every time, so I am currently unable to cancel either of my subscriptions.I also noticed that I have an Adobe Stock subscription. My intention was only to subscribe to Premiere Pro, and I don't understand why I have a separate Adobe Stock plan. I would appreciate it if someone could review my account and explain how this subscription was added????????Could an Adobe representative please help me:Cancel my Premiere plan. Cancel my Adobe Stock plan. Investigate why the Adobe Stock subscription exists on my account. Confirm that I won't be charged while your website is preventing me from cancelling.Thank you.[Moved to Account, Payment, & Plan by a moderator］

What is the recommendation regarding the use confidential text with InDesign's Style Packs Auto Style feature? The feature works well, but I’m curious from a technical standpoint whether the AI Auto Style/Style Packs feature transmits selected text or derived representations of that text to Adobe or any subprocessor? If yes, are there encryption controls, and what are the retention periods, logging, backup handling, and deletion schedules? Also, is the text used for product improvement or model training?I don't have any evidence of this happening, but the “processing on cloud” message compelled me to do my due diligence before diving fully into using this feature.

»pourquoi est-ce si long ?

I'm deeply concerned about the rejection of similar images. I spend my entire semester break to AI generate high-quality 1800+ images to update my portfolio. But now I'm facing the so-called "similar image already uploaded" rejection. I'm looking for a good alternative to get a reasonable income for my time. Please share your knowledge.    [Moderator cured the topics. Please do select only relevant topics.]

When I try to download Creative Cloud, I click on “open file” in the downloads folder, and it won’t open the file.

I can access other installed apps like Lightroom, Photoshop… but I have to log in to those apps individually. Moreover, without access to Creative Cloud, I cannot update or install other Adobe apps that are not previously installed on my comuter. My Creative Cloud has been like this for over a month now, it would get stuck at “initializing Creative Cloud” then continues to load until it exits and display the above message. I have tried a numerous fix but none solves the problem, including:- Click “repair” (it gets stuck in a loop of downloading, installing then goes back to the pop-up again) (Popup in attached image)- Uninstall from Windows settings then reinstall- Uninstall using the uninstaller then reinstall- Used AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool then reinstall- Reinstall VC_redistx64 2015-2022- Run “sfc /scannow” and “DISM” multiple times without any errorsAttached image is Adobe service terminated unexpectedly in event viewer.   Here is the log from installers from the

I sent a document to multiple people for signature. My intent is that each person signs and returns their individual document. The document asks for sensitive information so I do NOT want it shared with others. The confirmation notice says the following:A copy has also been sent to you at... for your records."WorkLab Coaches Contract" was sent for signature.... They will complete “WorkLab Coaches Contract” in any order. As soon as the agreement is complete, all eligible parties will be e-mailed PDF copies. When it says that "all eligible parties will be e-mailed PDF copies" - does that mean of ALL signed docs or just their own? Thanks

I need for some advice concerning a complex issue to solve between LRC and LR Mobile (android).I’m a wedding photographer, and until now I’ve used 100% LRC for my work (desktop based). But in one week time I’m going for vacation, and since I will have some time there I though “hey - let’s make some wedding edits there” but… here are issues I’m facing, as the only mobile device I can take with me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab, which restricts me to LR mobile version (never used before). And what I need to achieve is a continuous workflow between LRC and LR mobile - so that all work I do in LR mobile is 100% unified and recognizable with LRC when I come back from vacation. Pls note - I’m using a 20GB cloud storage adobe plan (which is way too little for my work cloud based) plus I will probably be cut off the internet where I’m going. So I was hoping to find an offline version of work on LR mobile to work on RAW files. But when I started to analyze it, I faced the following issues.I’m using pr

I have Creative Cloud Desktop and Acrobat Pro installed. Creative Cloud has a preference setting to disable Adobe Fonts. If this gets turned on, then it messes up Acrobat Pro such that I cannot use any Windows System installed fonts. The only way I can fixed this is to uninstall Acrobat and re-install and make sure Adobe Fonts is disabled. HORRENDOUS!!!The really nasty thing is that Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop keeps turning Adobe Fonts on again either when I use Photoshop or when it installs an upgrade,THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND IS CRITICAL TO MY WORK.I need a setting in registry or group policy to lockdown that Adobe Fonts can never be turned on again, in other words a lock down for this setting, Adobe just does not seem to understand this stuff.  PLEASE FIX/PROVIDE!

I couldnt use photoshop for six months unfortunately. I was using the simple tools last year. But its freezing now. When I try to paint ım waiting because of lagging. In my opennion my computer is enough for photoshop software. I attached my computer’s spesifications. What is the solution?

I am trying to deploy Adobe Reader via Intune package and Script. I got sent a link from Adobe for an exe that needed to extracted so as I can get the msi. When I have tested this Defender kicked off as the msi installs an old version which still has Flash. I tried installing via the exe. It installed 26.001.21662 but the latest version is 26.001.21691. Does anyone know where to get an uptodate Intune deployable package for Adobe Reader that won’t send Defender into melt down.

I also tried finding the missing files and placing but not sure what folder they go in exactly.

I often convert point type to area type. Frequently, when I do this, I cannot change the background color of the area type, which is the reason I’ve changed it to area type. I can’t figure out why. Often it’s when I’m given the file with text objects, but sometimes it happens when I add the text objects myself.Always when I start out with area type, there’s no problem. Any ideas? I’m using Mac OS 15.7.7 and Illustrator 2026. Thanks for any help. It’s driving me insane.

Hi! We were approved for the Adobe Acrobat Pro's nonprofit discount, which is awesome.  Per the Adobe website, up to 10 individual annual subscriptions are available per user licence with this discount.  I’ve added one user but I can’t add any more users. I’ve tried using the link that was sent from Goodstack and I’ve tried going directly on the Adobe site but in each case I get an error message that the plan is not available.  Any suggestions on how to add users under this discounted plan? Thanks in advance!

I cannot find a place to UNSUBSCRIBE and remove my card data. I am on a 14 day trial.I did not want to join. You gave away nothing for free. You TOOK MY document of my poem with your picture. You would not give me a picture OR FB post EVEN WHEN you strongarmed from me my checking account card.I am angry, and I plan to expose Adobe Express for the fraud that it is. Nothing is free. AI says it's free.  Not even when you have MY CARD NUMBER is anything free. Please cancel me now. I will call BBB if you don't.Linda Marie Bicksler (Sassyscholar7)creativeawakenings7@gmail.com

When I click on an imported layer to adjust, when I save the change it is saving over the original file, not just overwriting the layer. How do I stop this happening. I have tried Edit contents and replace contents to try and solve this issue. Can someone help with a fix please? Thanks

It’s a new function, in lightroom 9.4.

Hi, my Adobe Acrobat free trial ended on 21 July and I was automatically charged A$136. I cancelled the subscription immediately after noticing the charge and have not intended to continue using the service. I would like to request a full refund as a one-time courtesy.
