Solved

I have an older permanent license for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium and for Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium.  I have moved both of these products to a new Windows computer.  I know the software is old, but it does what I need, and I don’t use it often enough to justify the cost of new versions.  After dealing with a driver issues that caused crashes, I managed to get the software installed on Windows 11 25H2, and it seems to work fine.   The problem is that the activation does not work because Adobe long ago discontinued the activation servers.   I keep getting a message that I have too many activations already, even though I deactivated those on my older computers.  I recall this happened to me about 5 years ago when I moved the software to a different computer.  Adobe support did something (I don’t recall what) that cleared up the issue.  Today, however, Adobe support told me they are not  trained at all on the older software, so I need to go to this forum for an

I’m experiencing two ongoing issues with InDesign’s Review feature that have been consistently reproducible for the past three months. Issue 1: Review links fail to update on larger documents When uploading a publication for review, I can no longer update the existing review link. A persistent error appears stating: “There was a problem updating the artefact.” This workflow functioned reliably until approximately three months ago. To rule out local issues, I tested the same document and process on a second machine, with identical results. Through testing, I’ve found that if I halve the document size (testing both the first 30 pages and the last 30 pages independently to rule out a problematic element), the review link does update successfully. This suggests the issue is related to document scale rather than specific assets. The publications I work on are graphically intensive magazines, typically around 2.5GB in total size. Images are linked, not embedded, with many PSD files used thro

Recent intentional changes by engineering changed the package downloads created for offline networks.  The files used to be self contained .zip files, and are now .exe files that pull down the application from the network.  Working with tech support I found this was intentional change, but it defeats the purpose of having an offline license and ability to create a package. Additionally, the workaround for this is to go into pre-generated packages and find the appropriate package to download. while this does function, it does not allow us to use the packages screen to see the most recently downloaded application and version, and does not allow us to see whether an application is “up to date” or “not up to date” as displayed on the packages main page.  While the workaround provided will suffice temporarily, it does not provide the functionality we have come to expect from our Adobe contracts. Through years of continued use.

Can someone help me understand why the corner widgets work differently on these two rectangles. The top dark purple rectangle is the one that I just made. When I move the widgets the corners either change into a semi-circle or back into hard edges. I’m trying to copy the light purple bottom rectangle to understand how it’s been made and how it works. The corner widgets do the same thing but create more curve and are positioned in a different place. Any help will be much appreciated. I’m very new to this!

Yesterday I accidentally bought a subscription because I thought it would give me a free trial but it didn't, so I canceled the plan to get a refund, and it said that I would get a refund, now there's nothing in the plans tab, can an Adobe employee check that my refund is being processed?

Hi -- I rarely work in Adobe InDesign, but I had to modify an existing INDD file today and I cannot access some of the text boxes in my spread.  For reference, I am using Adobe InDesign 21.6 | 64-bit. I’ve looked at previous posts, and they mentioned to try the following steps:Get your Black Arrow/Selection tool. Place your cursor directly above the text you can see, but not modify. Click the mouse button. Most likely, you'll see a larger element is selected than your mystery line of type. Hold down the Cmd key (Mac) or Ctrl key (Windows), then click again. This lets you select elements beneath the top one in the stacking order. If that doesn't get you there, select the Object>Unlock All on Spread menu command to release any and all locked elements, then try it again.None of the above options worked for me.  Here is a screenshot of what I’m working on. The text I need to modify is highlighted in orange: Thank you!

Hello, I cannot see the links to many of my works that are for sale on Adobe Stock, but I can still sell them. Unless there is a contrary situation, it appears in searches, but I can say that it usually does not appear at all. Does not being able to see my work links prevent my sales from reaching the buyer audience? Will the images I have worked on appear even if the buyer searches with the correct title in all countries? I think this problem is probably related to the country I live in. (TR) I think this situation affects my sales. I request your support regarding this issue.

I tried the website “Identify my Adobe Charge” and it still didn’t help. The last time i got a payment enquity was on the third of october, i wanted to close my card and i still can’t due to this unknown payment

My local IT administrator could not help me either.Thank you in advance.Best wishes,Ruth

Although the reference number (2) is correct, the footnote (1) does not number consecutively. This is in the same story -- bizarre!

In Illustrator (most recent up to date version), I did a shortcut and accidentally turned my workspace to white.  I went to preferences ->user interface ->brightness and changed the color.  It changes the interface except for the workspace color, it remains white. However; if I open a new document it does change to the appropriate color.  I just don't want to copy and paste all my work to a new document.  This happened at work on a PC. When I brought the file home I opened it on a IMAC with the same issue.

Hello Adobe Stock Contributor Community,I recently created my Adobe Stock Contributor account, and this is the first and only Contributor account I have ever created. However, my account is showing as “Inactive” with a message saying that Adobe Stock does not allow multiple Contributor accounts.I tried contacting Contributor Support through the official Contact Us form and selected:Account → Multiple account approval requestBut when I try to submit the case, I receive this error:“We are sorry, there was an error submitting your case.”I have never intentionally created or operated another Adobe Stock Contributor account.Could someone please advise me on how I can get this issue reviewed by Adobe Contributor Relations?Thank you.

Text wrap ignores parts of the first letter in italic like the bottom part of the letter “p”. In a font like Time New Roman, the bottom of letter “p” extends outside the text box. That part of the letter just goes under the object it is wrapping around and is no longer visible. I see this problem in CS4. Any suggestion for a workaround that would not need tweaking when text reflows? Is this problem still there in CC 2026?

Adobe Lightroom Classic 15.5 import problem on Windows 11Hi Adobe team and Lightroom Classic users,I’m experiencing a serious import problem with Lightroom Classic 15.5 on my Windows PC, and this only started happening recently.System: OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Lightroom Classic: 15.5 Catalog: Tested with both my current catalog and an older catalog Photos: Sony ARW RAW files Import: Using Add Storage: Tested from different physical drives Problem:Lightroom can see and read the photos normally in the Import dialog. Hi! In InDesign version 21.5.1, the OAM files generated in Animate don't work when I preview the spread in EPUB, nor when I export the document in Publish Online. I had to revert InDesign to version 21.4.1 for it to work as it used to. Any ideas on how to use the latest version and get the OAM files working? Thanks!

I did this to password protect the pdf.  I open in Word, Double click on the .pdf image and get an error that says Acrobat is not installed so can’t open.  There’s no selection for open with.  Adobe Acrobat IS installed as an app on my computer. Why won’t it use it to open.  See error below. I will also check for info in MS Word support.  Thanks for any assistance you can offer!!
