Solved

When I try to save a file this dialog window keeps popping up, it says "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." I'm using windows 10 with the latest version of Illustrator CC

I am using the following javascript to extract a page (in this case page 11):   this.extractPages({nStart:10});   Since I sometimes will add or delete pages from a large file, I would like to simply extract the current page instead of a specific page number as the page numbers will change.  Or, I may want to extract the current page plus the page after it.  I'm looking for script to accomplish this.  Thanks.

I recently had this ICM image rejected and I'm pretty sure it is because it shows blurred landscape (as the sun rises.) I personally think this makes good wall art but perhaps I am dreadfully mistaken. There are lots of ICM out there and I believe this is an OK image. Perhaps someone could comment so I can temper images as demand requires

I'm sorry if I didn't find an existing post that covers this.I just wonder why content that I uploaded 4-11 months ago is still pending review, whereas more recent content is reviewed. Thanks for any help.

Hello everyone, I’m working on a flower illustration in Photoshop and I’ve run into a problem that I can’t solve on my own. In the original image (attached on the right), the flower looks solid and blends naturally with the background. However, in the edited version (left), the inside of the flower seems semi-transparent and the background shows through it. I’m not sure if this effect was created by “emptying” the flower’s inner area, by changing the blending mode, or by some kind of masking technique. I’ve tried different blending modes, masks, and opacity adjustments, but I still can’t replicate the exact result. Could anyone explain what technique might have been used here, and how I can achieve this effect properly in Photoshop? Any guidance or step-by-step explanation would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!

Hello! How can I use the old version of adobe color wheel, which had a double split-complementary scheme and the ability to move the axes apart in the analogous and split-complementary scheme?

Hi All  - Had to do a Desktop reset back to factory settings.  Photoshop and Lightroom installed on Desktop and Laptop only (2 computers in total)Open Photoshop and I'm informed by pop-up I've reached my device activation limit.  Pop-up lists 3 items - 1) Desktop with serial number. 2)Laptop. make MSI.  3)This Device - (not activated).  THIS DEVICE is the Desktop that has been reset.  How do I get around this?  Should I 'Sign out' of existing Desktop activation?  I'm assuming that if I do this then Adobe will pick up this 'new' device  (Reset Desktop) and activate it.  Yes/No?  Any help appreciated.Regards - Galena1

I have kind of an urgent question if anyone has any input. I'm working on an audiobook using Adobe Audition. The input for the audiobook is fine and I'm watching it as I record. I saved a bunch of the raw files and when I opened them back up, they look like the attached image. The entire file is pretty much corrupted with a static sound. I only noticed this after I saved the file and opened it back up. The history is now gone.I also tend to save raw files before I do any editing or mastering. I had a file that was perfectly fine before I edited it and after. And now that file too has the static throughout. It's only happening with some files. Here are my questions...1. Are the files corrupt? This is happening AFTER a valid recording once the file is saved.2. Is there any salvation for these affected files?

So any clip i use position keyframes that are easy eased or seperated keyframes aswell, or anything like that it shows a very glitched graph like this, I reinstalled after effects, tried to do a new project etc but i dont know how to fix it, and it was normal before.

Afetr working on this project file for nearly a year, today it has decided to align every video to some random value that isnt the center (even though it shows it as center) and crop all of my footage from 16:9 to something else. I haven't touched anything in this sequence, but is has done this across all 6 I had. Does anyone know of a fix as otherwise I have nearly 2 hours of footage to realign which will take me weeks.

So I have a stroke animation animating with vegas with a 3D camera in the comp. Problem is as my camera starts to move, my strokes start to flicker/jitter. I am using Continous Rasterization on my layer and this is the result. Although If I turn OFF the Continous Rasterization the problem goes away but I lose my quality and thats not what I want. I want to animate my layers with vegas only and without losing quality. Any potential fix for this or any other workaround?Comp settings:-1920 x 1080-24 fps-32 bpc

Hello!I work with the latest version of AE (18.0.1.) and now am trying to paint some  simple dots on a solid (after double clicking on it), but the size of the brush won't change when I open the brush window. On the screenshot you can see the window, it seems to be dead, doesn't react on clicking on it. Does anybody know the problem and has a solution? Probably it is something completely obvious, but I jaust cannot see it 🙂Thanks and cheers!

I've blended together a number of gradient maps to reach a colour scheme that I'm really happy with. Each gradient map has a blending mode. Upon exporting the colours change. Does anyone have any ideas? I've attached screenshots of before and after export. I've also tried to convert to smart object, however it just wipes away the blending mode it seems like?

I recently noticed that ARW files imported to Lightroom Classic 14.2 from my new Sony A1 ii are not displaying blues correctly and are also looking very washed out. In both library and develop modes the bottom thumbnail scroll is displaying the colors correctly until I select a photo to develop. At that point both the main image and the thumbnail shift towards a very green hue. This isn't happening on any images I'm importing from my A7RV. It is very noticeable on blue sky images. Once the image has been deselected for a few moments, the thumbnail reverts to the correct color.    I dont believe it's the camera causing the issue, as my settings have been double checked and mirror those of the A7RV. Furthermore, this is a new issue.    I've also used the DNG converter and am having the same issue with all DNG's from the A1 ii   Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!   Thanks, Barry   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to

We would like to use esign for documents; however, these documents are dated elsewhere and the signature should not be dated. Is there a way to turn the blue line, etc. on and off in esign? Thanks!

Someone explain to me why premiere is using too much memory compared to Resolve. UsingM1 pro16 GB of ramPremiere Pro version 24.2.1 I have a basic interview, filmed with the bmpcc 6K in, 6k Braw 12:1. The edited video is 5:30 min, downsized to Full HD. When i export the interview, Premiere ask to quite apps to make room for more memory space. If I understand it correctly, Apple is able to use the memory space as ram when things get crazy. So for instance, Premiere will be using 55 GB of memory, while the Mac Book Pro i'm using has 16 gb of ram (memory).  What I don't understand is, why does Premiere need more than 55 Gb to render while Resolve never goes above 7 GB of ram (memory). With all the AI and useless feuture they give us. Seems like this software is still not effient.

Hi there,   Is it possible to add padding, background and rounded borders to text automatically?   Something like this:   The above image was done with a shape behind text, but wondered if it can be done with just a text box?   Thanks<Title renamed by MOD>

In the video, i've used the typewriter preset on the "running". However, i cant use it on the "down" because it starts typing from the d (i want the ball to reveal it as it bounces). Ive tried reversing keyframes using the assistant but that just looks like the text is slowly being deleted. How can i make it so the "down" is revealed backwards?

Hi Adobe Team and fellow Mixamo users,After extensive testing, observation, and discussion, I’ve reached a clear conclusion:Mixamo is not experiencing “end of life” behavior. It’s experiencing a backend authentication failure — and it’s completely fixable. The Real Problem:On June 16, 2025 — almost exactly 10 years and 2 weeks after Adobe acquired Mixamo — key functionality broke:Logins failUploads/downloads hangAccount buttons go to a dead URL: https://accounts.adobe.com (with an “s”)Meanwhile:The Mixamo frontend still worksAnimations and characters load and display in-browserSession states fail only when authentication is requiredMy Investigation:I’m not part of Adobe. I’m just someone who believes if something’s broken, someone should figure it out. So I did.The “Accounts” link no longer exists — Adobe’s login system now uses https://account.adobe.com (no "s").The SSL certificates were quietly renewed for the frontend, but the backend likely had a token or cert expire — possibly tied

I can't get it to let me add any photos into my pictures
