We normally use the “Request e-signatures” function to send our documents. Previously we were able to assign a password for view only before sending to the recipient. With the latest update this week, that prompt no longer available. We have attempted to use the “Protect PDF” function but it is not linked to sending out an e-signature request. Has anyone else come across this issue and/or found where a password can be assigned with a request e-signature?

Hello, I'm trying to create an interactive document using Indesign, I've tried to do it using Acrobat but there are limitations with Javascript when viewed on mobile so the interactive bit doesn't work, and viewing on mobile is a must for this project. Is it possible to create a text based entry field or dropdown box in InDesign and trigger an action like show a  text. For example, if I type 'fruit' in a text box or select 'fruit' in a dropdown, can I set this to show another text i.e. 'apple' on another box? I'm thinking if I can't achieve the above with an Interactive PDF then HTML via Indesign might be the answer TIA TIA

Hey everyone, I've updated my version of illustrator earlier this week to 24.1 on Mac OS 10.15.4 and I'm having an issue that I can't manage to find a solution for. Basically, whenever I try to save any files on my main hard drive I get a pop-up saying "Can't save the illustration. .278". I've managed to find a work-around where I can just save my file to my external hard drive and copy it after on my main drive, but it's still really annoying to have to do every time I have to save my file.

My prompt expressly requests two hands positioned in an expressive manner is consistently being ignored. FF keeps giving me everything I'm asking for EXCEPT "two hands." I don't know how many ways I can request it but it looks like regenerate just keeps spitting out the same images.

I am currently working on a project in Premiere Pro Version 22.6.2 and trying to add effects to one clip with the "Replace with After Effects Composition" to link it to After Effects. However, every time I try this After Effects and/or Premiere Pro both crash, and I have have to force quit the applications.   I am using After Effects 22.6.0. In my creative cloud I do not see an update for After Effects so I am assuming that's not the issue. Also, I tried creating proxies but that didn't seem to make a difference either. The computer I use is a Mac Mini macOS Monterey Version 12.5.1. Based on the information I gave, does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks!

HI everyone, I'm still novice to photoshop- but I have made a collage for my portfolio and the person I made it for will be using it for their website (yay!)- they have just asked me if it is possible to resize for mobile.. and i am wondering the best way to go about it... the way I learned (starting a file with the new dimentions and then dragging the layers over from the original file , doesnt seem to be the best solution, as there are so many layers and to scale it I have to strech certain things out and it pixelates (even though i am moving from a very large file to a smaller file)- any suggestions? for context my original file is 4800 x 3600 @300 dpi- and the web deisgner has asked for as close to 1080 x 1920 px as possible

Hello!I'm trying to write a photoshop script that can change the size of strokes on all shape layers. When we increase the image size, none of the stroke widths scale with that change. This is what we are trying to fix. Is there a way to increase image size and have stroke width also scale? It seems super simple and I can do it in Adobe Animate really easily, but not photoshop.  So far I can get the stroke size of an active layer but not change it... (thanks to another great post)... Please help!! 😮  var activeDoc = app.activeDocument; var layers = activeDoc.layers; var layerLength = layers.length; //alert(layers.length); var r = new ActionReference(); r.putProperty(stringIDToTypeID("property"), stringIDToTypeID("AGMStrokeStyleInfo")); r.putEnumerated(stringIDToTypeID("layer"), stringIDToTypeID("ordinal"), stringIDToTypeID("targetEnum")); //alert(executeActionGet(r).getObjectValue(stringIDToTypeID("AGMStrokeStyleInfo")).getUnitDoubleVa

I am in the process of upgrading my current AM4 setup to AM5. New cpu, memory, videocard, everything. It's going to run Windows. I want to be sure these upgrades benefit Photoshop as much as possible.  I often work with very large resolution files. Think photos from an 61MP camera, often multiples of these stitched, and then also with several smart layers of edits. PSB files up to 4-5 GB sometimes. And I want to build a somewhat future-proof system, so the file sizes might even increase. Does Photoshop benefit from simply a huge amount of system RAM? Like, would 256GB ram be better than 128GB, for example? I currently have 64GB in my system and it seems like sometimes it's a limiting factor. Photoshop gets really slow, starts buffering (I suspect) etc. I want to mention I use intensive plugins like NIK and Topaz, so this could also be a CPU limitation perhaps. Basically, what I want to know if it is useful to consider future RAM expansions while thinking about

I have most current version of InDesign and Acrobat and pdf is dropping text. I outlined some of the text to be sure it isn't a font issue and same thing happens. I have restarted, created a save as file. I'm under deadline and this is frustrating!!!!!!

Currently we have Acrobat Reader DC installed on a Windows 2012 R2 terminal server, and due to a recent update, are encountering an issue with the Adobe Update Service continually failing - this causes a prompt to appear for any logged in user. It appears that in recent updates to Adobe Reader that the "Updater" tab within preferences has been removed. Attempting to disable the Update Service in Local Services does not work, and setting this to Manual or Disabled does not stick for more than 30 minutes. There is also a scheduled task for the Adobe Reader Update Service in Task Scheduler that attempts to run the Update Service everytime a user logs on - disabling this only lasts for 30 mins before it resets to enabled with its default settings. Is there a way to disable Auto-Updates for Acrobat Reader on a terminal server?

Any ideas ? Thanks

Hi AllI hope someone can throw some light on why this is happening. I have done it so many times in the past but now it is not working. So, black image with transparent background. Saved as transparent grayscale tiff in photoshop. Import image into InDesign and apply colour from swatches but the image remains black. I know it should be changing as I have achieved this numerous times in the past. Driving me nuts! TIA ID v20.4.1, Intel Mac, Ventura.

Hi everybody !Ok, it look me a while to gather the entirety of the problem, but here I am :LRc constently freeze, like every 5 minutes when I'm editing.I noticed that when it does, I could see from the performance tab is windows task manager that it also completely saturate my local disk with writing: it suddently peak to 100% activity, and stay to 100% until I kill Lightroom. In the meantime, my processor and RAM seems to be unaffected.I had to investigate further to find this "dumps" folder in AppData/Roaming/Adobe/CRLogs. The mf was like 100go and is also began to saturate C: drive. I find multiple discussions in here saying that I can delete the files in it without breaking anything. So I did.But the main problem remains: LRc keep suddently writing like mad is this folder (the 17,6go file from my screenshot was creating during the 2 minutes it took me to take the screenshots), and that make it freeze until I kill the task.I already used Adobe CC cleaning tool to uninstal CC an

Hello,Has anyone encountered the following problem?I open a raw file with Photoshop, the photo appears in the Camera Raw Filter, and if I load an xmp file of a photo similar to the given photo, which was denoised with AI Denoise, the photo becomes ghosted like this in Camera Raw. Moreover, the ghost is the given photo, so it was opened in Camera Raw, and the XMP belongs to the powerful photo. And it has been doing this since the last update (26.8.0)I may have missed a few updates. I don't know when AI Denoise changed in Camera Raw, but when the AI Denoise menu wasn't like it is now (I put it in the lower right corner of the attached photo), I didn't have this problem. (For me, the old AI Denoise looks like the one in the lower left corner)What is new to me and very strange is that when loading the XMP file, it now automatically brings the AI Denoise setting with it, which it didn't do before the update. The older version didn't do this.I have put the previous 26.x.x versions back in

Hi everyone,This is one of those things that drives me crazy because it feels so simple, but I can’t figure out the solution.I have a circular path that I want to turn into an arc (I’m referring to a section of the perimeter), but I like the ends of the path to be cut perfectly straight at 90°.I’ve attached an image for reference:In Figure A, you can see what happens when I use the Scissors Tool to create the cutting points on my circle and then delete the segment. The path ends keep the natural tangent angle of the circle. In Figure B, you can see that one way to solve this is by expanding the stroke and intersecting it with a rectangle with straight sides. In this case, the ends are cut vertically, which is exactly what I’m looking for.My challenge is to achieve the result from B while keeping it as a path, without needing to expand the stroke into a filled shape.Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks a lot for your help!

On my MacBook Pro - Adobe Creative Cloud app shows a Home button at the top on the left-hand side. My work desktop Mac doesn't have one? Why not, how can I get it back? Attached screenshot shows no home button.

Dear Adobe Team, We are writing to express our concern regarding an issue we are facing with our Adobe licenses. As a long-standing customer of Adobe, we are disappointed to find that there is no solution available for merging our two existing VIP numbers. Due to this limitation, we are experiencing difficulties in using Adobe Illustrator effectively across our systems. Since Adobe does not offer a resolution for this problem, we would like to proceed with the following: Cancel all licenses under VIP number  Issue a full refund for these cancellations. We will then place a fresh order for the required licenses under our other existing VIP number [   ]. Please confirm the process and timeline for cancellation and refund. We request your cooperation in resolving this matter at the earliest, given the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your attention. I'm using the latest Photoshop update (automatic update) on Windows 11.  Recently, I've encountered a situation where each time I close and then reopen Photoshop, I have to do a Window>Workspace>Reset Essentials maneuver.   Because I use the basic workspace configuration, it's just a minor annoyance.  Still, it would be nice to not have to do that.  Does anyone know why this happens or how to prevent it?

Why do my blank and white documents result in greyed out PDF's?
