Solved

I have bought a new iMac running MacOS Monterey (12.7). My licensed copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional 8, that was earlier runnning on a now dead iMac with High Sierra, refuses to be installed. Is there a way of solving this without having to buy or "rent" a new program. I am mostly using it for extracting pages from or reducing size of PDF files. The free editors lack the extract function as far as I have noted.

Hi, When I try to set up a calculation field in Acrobat, it will not let me do anything. Fields can be selected, but when you click "OK" and the dialogue boxes close, no fields are retained as selected. The same happens when trying to fill in simple or full Javascript. When you click "OK," the field returns to being empty, and in these cases, the "simplified field notation" option is unselected and switched to "value is not calculated." I have tried multiple PDFs exported from InDesign as both Interactive and Print PDFs. I also made a PDF directly in Acrobat as a test. All failed. Is this a known bug? Is anyone else having this? I saw one other post from a few weeks ago, but the solution suggested was to use Windows troubleshooter to maximise compatibility (I tried it, but it doesn't work). Windows 11. 24H2 26100.3775Acrobat Pro 2025.001.20435

I want to be able to choose which files I want to go to cloud and which stays in my local for my Ipad. I'm planning on drawing alot on my ipad, but I'm afraid that my cloud storage will become full even though I have more storage space on my local. I would also just prefer to save finished illustrations to Cloud while my ongoing stays in my local. Does anyone know how to disable the automatic save to Cloud?

Hello Adobe Illustrator team and community,I’d like to suggest two related features to help prevent accidental artboard edits and deletions:Artboard LockingWhat: A “Lock Artboard” toggle (similar to locking layers) that prevents moving, resizing, or deleting an artboard until you unlock it.Why: When working with dozens of artboards, it’s easy to unintentionally shift or delete one while editing nearby artwork.Delete Confirmation PromptWhat: An optional checkbox in Preferences → General called “Ask before deleting artboard.” When enabled, Illustrator displays a simple “Are you sure you want to delete this artboard?” dialog each time you hit the trash icon or press the delete key on an artboard. Why: A quick confirmation would save many hours of rebuilding artboards (and their associated assets) after an unintended deletion. Why This Is Critical for My WorkflowI maintain a master AI file whose artboards are linked into dozens of individual AI files. Every time the master is updated, all li

I have been using Photoshop normally more often but then all of the sudden I click open and nothing happens. I then go to Run As Administrator and nothing happens but duplicate instances open in task manager as a "Background Process"  I have tried many things to fix this problem and only one partially worked. Before you ask, a few things - My PC is able to run it for I have been running it fine - I always run as administrator so it's not as simple as that (I have tried running it normally too) - I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times - Updated to the latest version - All my drivers have been updated to the latest version as well - Restarted My PC several times after different attempts to fix - Updated windows to the latest version - I created a second admin account (this worked at first but now the same problem still occurs)

Please excuse my frustration...  I'm surprised not a single person on planet earth has asked this question before...  that or there's just not a clear answer to this problem for Adobe Animate.STORY:So I copied a symbol and pasted it onto another frame... I forgot to convert it again to a new symbol so that whatever changes I make will not affect the original symbol.  Since I made too many changes on the original symbol its beyond undo.QUESTION:So my question is... does Adobe Animate create a folder that has previous autosave version(s) of the file?  If so, where do I find it?  If its an option that I don't have turned on, where do I find that on the Adobe Animate program? If this is possible, could you just give me a simple direction like:  Windows (C:) > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Animate CC 2018......Also, don't mix this up with AUTO-RECOVERY, yes I know those files are located on the same folder as the same file you're working on.  Thoug

Hello, I Just saw that Adobe took payment (36 Eur) from my credit card. I want my money back because I do not use additional photos. I only used the free version and when I canceled my membership it was said that my money will be returned. I want to ask what should I do? Best wishes Kamilė Džiaugytė

Since the update to 29.5. all submenus are displayed with a long delay. (sometimes up to 2 seconds). This applies both to the sub-options of the right-click menu (transform -> scale) and to the sub-menu items of the main menu (for example, Object -> Path -> Merge)

Hello!I'm currently experiencing an issue and I'm curious whether anyone has experienced similar or has any advice. I've recently switched from a laptop with a 17.2 inch, 1080p screen to one with a 17.2 inch, 1440p screen. I use photoshop for digital artwork and routinely work on canvases that have to be of specified dimensions. My issue is this; on the 1440p laptop, a canvas that is, say, 2000x2000px looks significantly smaller when at 100% than that same canvas art 100% on my 1080p laptop. When I then save said canvas (usually as a .png), without making any edits to its dimensions or res, and upload it to the internet, the resulting image is larger when at 100% than it appeared in photoshop and suffers a substantial drop in quality (similar to the loss of resolution commonly seen after actively scaling up an image). This is not something that ever previously happened on my 1080p laptop, I've not changed methods or added in any new steps at all, but am using exactly the same proc

Today I heard from my Finance department that they accidently paid all our yearly Adobe invoices twice. Is there any way tot get the money back? Thanks in advance.

In October last year, I created an Adobe account connected to my school account at Ivy Tech. However, now I want to cancel my subscription and I cannot do so because in Settings, it keeps telling me to contact my administrator when I was never assigned one to begin with. Due to this, as previously stated, I cannot cancel my subscription, with the attatched image displaying what I see whenever I go to my Overview page. Can anyone please help me cancel my subscription or at least tell me who to contact to do so?

I have an issue that whenever I go into the profile browser or try and use an adaptive preset LrC immediately crashes. The same thing happens when going into the profile browser in Camera Raw. I have the latest versions installed (fresh install) and my Computer has the latest drivers. Another thing that happens and might be connected to this issues is that when I try to use AI masks it says "some AI masks need to be updated" yet when I hit update nothing happens and the masks just don't work at all. Any help would be appreciated since this makes the program close to unusable for me.. Here are my system infos:Lightroom Classic version: 14.3 [ 202504141032-10373aad ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionVersion: 11.0.26100Application architecture: x64System architecture: x64Logical processor count: 8Processor speed: 3,3GHzSqLite Version: 3.36.0CPU Utilisation: 1,0%Power Source: Plugged InBuilt-in memory: 32304,5 MBDedicated GPU

Hello,I'm the developer of the SendStock AI application, which generates metadata using AI.Contributors are increasingly generating their metadata with the help of AI.Is it possible to contact developers working on Adobe Stock algorithms and/or SEO to improve title and keyword generation so that they are as optimal as possible and correspond to what Adobe expects from contributors?AI is now one of the tools commonly used by Adobe contributors, and this will only accelerate. It seems to me to be smarter to use AI if it's properly analyzed, and my request is consistent with that.Thank you.
