i am a fan of lightroom, but i am to old and to attached to photoshop, and its making me nuts to not be able to use the standard photoshop tools, like the zoom and the hand to move the thing aroud, or the lasso tool,   its almost as if you over simplified the interface when designing it, and i have no desire to learna  brand new interface all over again or go hunting for standardized tools, can you please show me where those itms are located ?   pretty please with sugar on top,   i do a lot of high detail work, and i love ai add and subrtract tools, but hunting for the tool to grab the picture and move it to the next area, or the magnifying glass to zoom in and out are a pita, even with keyboad short cuts you could simplify this for me,   thanks   Sunshine

I’ve just bought a new laptop specifically to run Lightroom (my old one was painfully slow), but I’m running into an issue during the installation. When I try to use the Lightroom Downloader, I get an error saying there’s not enough space available — even though my new laptop has plenty of free storage. I also tried using an external hard drive with lots of space, but I’m still getting the same error message.I only have basic computer knowledge, so if anyone could walk me through a fix with step-by-step instructions, I’d really appreciate it.Thank you in advance!

I keep my working photos on an external hard drive in a folder labled photos.  Recently the connector failed and a technician was able to copy the contents to a new external hard drive.  Lightroom is able to see the new external hard drive, but Im unable to see the folder labled photos.  Therefore, I am unable to see any of my working folders.  FYI, under the photos folder, I have yearly working folders (e.g. 2023, 2024, etc).  Any suggestions?  Also, my computer is a Macbook Pro.

Hello - my Adobe Acrobat crashes every time I try to repeat a redaction across more than 50 pages. I am regularly rdacting very large files (2500+ pages) so this has been very problematic. Here is what I've done so far: made sure I had the latest version; uninstalled and reinstalled; ran the cleaner; read everyone else's posts about this. It appears this is a glitch but I'm hoping a solution has been created. Thank you.

I’m trying to figure out how to make the text transparent on the design behind, like a cutout. Is there a way to do that?

The highlighted text won't change after clicking the font/typface dropdown in the type tool character menu/tool box. The highlight will be gone, and you won't be able to change it. Restarting everything didn't fix it.

I received an email telling me my Pixelis AI Lightroom add on free trial will be expiring soon. I downloaded Lightroom to edit one photo a couple months back, and have no recollection of signing up for a free trial of any kind at the time. I've redownloaded Lightroom and can't find even find anything about Pixelis AI.  The email has come from support@pixelisai.freshdesk.com.  I've forwarded it on to phishing@adobe and I'm waiting to hear back, and couldn't really get anywhere with the chat option. Thanks for any help you may provide!!

I've been having this really annoying issue pretty much forever.I'm working as normal in premiere - then i need to export TIF a still image (or sequence) and open it in photoshop to edit it.  All good - I open in photoshop, then save back as TIF and import back into premiere - but as soon as the edited frame is back in premiere - it's color/brightness is just slightly off from the original frame.  I figured it's due to some color space issue - but I tried saving/exporting with all kinds of different settings, in RGB, in CMYK even, with AdobeRGB & with sRGB - it makes no difference.  The re-imported TIFF is always ever so slightly different.  I tried going PNG instead of TIFF - same thing. Then finally i found a workaround - importing the photoshop file directly into premiere.  That's a bit more messy (when many layers) and files are heavier/larger - but at least it worked.  But now another issue!I take that photoshop clip (still image exported from my p

I think this may be Adobe Creative Cloud related.  But I have recently installed Creative Cloud and various apps on my MacBook and noticed soon after that a folder called Red Giant appeared in Users/Shared folder (see screenshot) As far as I am aware I have not installed Red Giant apps - so guessing this must be Adobe CC related.  Does anyone know if that is the case, and what the point of the shared folder is? Many thanks?

Something fishy is going on with AE. Two days ago was working well, now it's trying to access files that don't exist in Windows.Removed all scripts/plugins, launched in safe mode, reset prefs, uninstall/install - still same.  According to ClaudeWhat WMIC.exe WasWMIC (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line) was a system utility that allowed programs to query Windows system information like hardware details, running processes, and system configuration. After Effects was using it to gather system information. Why It's MissingMicrosoft started disabling WMIC by default in Windows 11 insider builds as of January 29, 2024, and plans to remove it completely from future Windows versions Microsoft AE 25.3Win11 Pro, 24H2, OS build 26100.4351Processor AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor 4.30 GHzRAM 96.0 GB (95.6 GB usable)NVIDIA 5070Ti 16GB, Studio Driver 576.802TB NVME, + 4TB NVME for AE Cache

Surprised this software still doesn't have a simple toggle arrow button in it's Transform menus.Like, swiping values between the Horizontal and Vertical planes with the Move tool.Seems like an easy addition!

I notice that keywords are not automatically synced across my various computers.  Will I be able to find images that have the same keyword applied on one computer as on another?  For example: The keyword DOGS has been manually added (not import/export) to COMPUTER A as follows:KEYWORDS- 2025-- ANIMALS--- DOGS The keyword DOGS has been manually added (not import/export) to COMPUTER B as follows:KEYWORDS- 2025-- DOGS I applied the keyword DOGS to IMAGE 3456 on COMPUTER A. Will I find that same image on COMPUTER B?

Hello,I draw your attention to the slow loading of the preview when scrolling through the previews quickly. This still happens in the new version of Adobe Bridge 14.0.2. Waiting for the preview to load is really annoying. I mean, before the preview is rendered, it's still kind of pixelated. My thumbnails are always cached. This happens even after clearing the cache. It was fine in version 14. I have it ttested. Please really fix do it! it seriously disrupts the speed of processing the order and, above all, it hurts the eyes! I didn't buy a $5000 USD MB to wait for something!Apple M1 Max, 32 RAM, 2 TBLatest Sonoma UpdatesI am sending a sample here. V14.0.0 Works well. previews are sharp and still loaded when browsing.   V14.0.2 They are broken and out of focus when scrolling. always takes time to render.

This thing is bothering me because I tried to look up for support, I tried re-installing Chrome, Adobe Reader and also installing an other PDF Viewer program, but every time I set the app as default app for the .pdf format the downloaded file is instantly opened even if I don't want to. I also tried previous versions of Adobe Reader and it didn't work as well. I really need it to stop because I have to download a lot of files for University and I don't want to be forced to close these windows every time after the download. What can I do? Also, I would rather not change browser as I don't want to re-insert all the passwords and favourites again.

This complaint goes back years and years ago, still this has not been fixed. When I try to apply a redaction the program freezes. I have tried all suggested "fixes" recommended here and none work. How is this still an issue when people have been complaining about it for literally years.

Hi there, I am having a bizarre problem with sending out an agreement for signing using Adobe Sign. I usually send agreements to 2 x signatories, I then approve, and it goes the the next 2 x signatories. In this instances for some reason the 1st signatory has not received a request to sign. I can see in my "In progress" dashboard that MY NAME is listed in the "Recipients" section where usually the first recipients name that has to sign first usually is quoted. It makes it seem like there is something that I have to action before it will be sent to the signatories. I have tried "sending reminders" however the first signatories name does not come up in the "active parties" to receive a "right now" reminder....it says those reminders can only be sent to active or completed recipients but the only recipients that show up that I can send that reminder to are the people CC'd on the agreement. I am very confused and have tried "mofiying" the agreement to no avail. I have also tried addin

With all values set to zero I get an increase in sharpness and detail when I click on the eye icon to temporarily disable the effect panel. It's like ACR is applying some hidden NR and softening to minimise any edge artefacts.

How do I set the Color sliders in InDesign to behave like the Color sliders in Illustrator and Photoshop? If I work from the top down - set a Hue (zero degrees, red), then Saturation (zero) and then slide the Brightness - why doesn’t the Brightness bar color strip go from black (darkest) to WHITE (brightest)? Right now the Brightness slider goes from black to the brightess possible color of the hue selected at full saturation (red, in this case), ignoring the Saturation value. Neither Saturation nor Brightness in InDesign adjust dynamically when sliding the other.
