Solved

On an image sent to phtoshop via Lightrooms "Edit In" I can save it back to the original folder using Command - S keyboard shortcut and it will save in PSD format.  However, when I am on my MacBook Pro and using the same workflow it saves as a Tiff.  What do I need to do in order to save the file as a PSD on my MacBook Pro?

Hello, everyone.  I've recorded sides of vinyl records into one file, and I want to separate them into individual tracks.  I used to be able to do it in older versions by setting markers and merginf them, but I have Audition 2025 now and I cannot figure out how to do it.  Can someone help me? Thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 on a PC running Windows 10 Home Single Language version 20H2 and the installer displays the following message: "Update required - Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system. Learn more" Windows Update tells me there are no more updates to be installed on this machine. What should I do? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey,I want to know if there is a trick to add a stroke to one side of a rectangle. As I know Illustrator does apply the stroke on the 4 sides auto.

My catalog will not backup when I close out of Lightroom Classic. Below is te catalog settings and I have never seen the backup path as being marked *offline before.I originally had an alert at the bottom of the window stating that my backup path was on the same volume as my catalog. When I Googled and looked at some troubleshooting, all the solutions were telling me to direct my catalog backups to a different location storage location from where my actual catalog was being stored (e.g. instead of storing the backups on my C: Drive, I moved the location to my 😧 Drive). I do not get any sort of dialogue box that pops up when I close LRC, so I can't tick any boxes with regards to optimizing the catalog or testing the integrity of the catalog. I am using Version 14.2 on Windows 11.

Hi all,  I am working on a doc that was already being edited but due to poor media management we are rebuilding the project. They used prosumer cameras so I had to modify the file names to include the dates when they were shot (so if the old name was "C0001.MP4" the new name is "C0001_250701.MP4"). I then created a new Production and brought in all the files with modified names there.  I am now trying to take the stringouts that were made with old file names in the old project and convert them to match back to source clips with dated names.  What I have been trying to do is export an EDL of the sequence, then convert the EDL into a CSV, edit the file names so that they match the dated names, then convert back to EDL and bring into Premiere.  This works fine in onlining the sequence with new, dated names, however what happens is that Premiere creates duplicates of the sources when I import the EDL. I've tried many different ways to "Reassociate cl

I'm trying to set up a simple dialog with an edit field the value of which persists using the code below, called using  LrPluginInfoProvider in my info file. What am I doing wrong?local LrView = import "LrView" local LrPrefs = import "LrPrefs" local LrDialogs = import "LrDialogs" local bind = LrView.bind local pluginInfoProvider = {} function pluginInfoProvider.sectionsForTopOfDialog(f, properties ) local prefs = LrPrefs.prefsForPlugin( ) if properties.userName == nil then properties.userName = prefs.userName or "yyyy" end return { { title = "Chatter Preferences --", synopsis = "Chatter, by Kim Aldis", f:row { f:column { spacing = f:control_spacing(), f:static_text { title = "Testing:" }, f:edit_field { value = bind "userName", width = 300 } } } } } end return pluginInfoProvider

When I convert an Illustrator vector into a shape, the handles appear on the anchor points. (image 1)However, if I draw a line or any object using the Pen Tool and then use the Convert Vertex Tool to change the shape, the Handles do not appear on the Anchor Points. (image 2)  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the AE. How can I fix it?

I have the Photo Subscription for LRC and Photoshop.  How many uses per month do I get to use the REMOVE TOOL FROM FIREFLY with the AI box checked.  I heard the Adobe sent out a letter/email explaining all this but neither Adobe support or my email shows that I ever got it.  Did anyone out ther get it???

I have never had issues opening downloads in Acrobat before, but all of a sudden I'm getting the following message when I try:The operation could not be completed as Adobe Acrobat doesn't have permission to access: ~/Downloads/.Launch privacy settings to grant access? When I go into privacy settings, "Downloads" doesn't even show up as an option for me to grant permission for. The only option is iCloud. Where did the other options go? My only workaround so far has been to drop all of my downloads into my iCloud folder, but this is really inconvenient. It's weird that the same thing seems to be the case for Illustrator as well with only "Desktop" as an option.  I'm just really confused as to what happened for this to occur and where the downloads option even went. It might just be a computer issue, but I just figured I'd ask and see if this has happened to anyone else.

KEY DETAILS:CPU- RYZEN 9 7900XGPU- 4080 SUPER2 4TB SSDS64G DDR5 Basically I built this thing to be a workhorse and it had been great... until yesterday. I was working with 4k 59.94 footage from a drone, nothing TOO visually intense, just smokey skies over my city.  I had edited all the clips and was just putting them on an export timeline. The first video exported fine the first time, but the other 4 videos (each less than a minute in length) only displayed the first frame of the video... OK- I figured it was an export setting issue.  So I went and adjusted those settings, tried rendering in higher and lower resolution (original exports targetted 1080 since it was for instagram), all of those settings were standard, nothing special.  Each time the video would only export the first frame. THEN I tried playing back on the timeline and this is where things got really weird, suddenly the videos on the timeline didn't play either... even though they had all work

I have a 2 minute sequence on my timeline that will not Render. There are 3 color indicators in my timeline that don't go after Rendering.Neither Enter, or Render In to Out works.I tried clearing Attributes, but that had no effect.I've even reviewed UT videos but can't find the answer. I even rebooted my computer.I'm baffled.

Okay now seriously here is the problem. Whenever I try to play footage within the timeline I get the cracking popping audio feedback and also the frames are cutting and skipping which makes it impossible to edit. I thought it was the 4k video so I imported a 360p video file and I still had the same issue. On the bright side whenever I export the file it plays back smoothly without any errors but its just impossible to edit with frames dropping and the annoying popping/cra

That's good. Thanks once more. Now if Adobe will just restore the the "merged" snapshot option in Photoshop.

Hi There, I've been working on a file for a cople of days that's on my desktop. i'm trying to demo this new function for our firm. i am on our firm's AI taskforce and resonsible for testing these tools. i am getting this error when i try to generate a sound. it says "you don't have access to firefly, please contact your administrator to request access". i do have a commercial account and am logged in.

I create direct mailers for a client and am required to package up INDD files with links and fonts. Catamaran is one of their brand fonts and I can't package the Adobe version becuse of the Adobe copywrite. As a work-around, I downlaoded the free OpenType TrueType variation of this font and disabled the Adobe version. This has worked fine for about a year, but now my system is constantly telling me that Catamaran font is missing. I verified the Adobe version is off and reinstalled the OpenType version. Still issues. I turned off all of the Adobe fonts... this helpd for a few days, but now I'm having trouble again, even with the Adobe fonts turned off via the CC app. If I manually change the font back in one text box, it will change to the correct version, but if I copy-paste, it changes it back to the version that adobe says is missing. Find/ replace (even with changing to a 3rd font, closing and repoening to change to the correct font) doesn't work. I'm working on a 40 page

Hey y'all, I'm trying to desqueeze some footage using media encoder and all the necessary elements seem to be set to the correct settings, but when it exports I have a 1.333 aspect ratio frame with a 16:9 squeezed video in the center. Basically, the "Stretch to Fill" option under the "Source Scaling" section doesn't seem to be doing its job, despite the preview being the correct aspect ratio. here's a before & after of the issue: https://imgur.com/fLkv3WHhere's my settings in ame: https://imgur.com/3D1bOgc as you can see the preview shows the video in the correct aspect ratio, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong for it to export incorrectly. We use the entire Adobe Suite of products throughout our campus on shared computers. Our problem is students are not signing out of their Adobe accounts after class ends allowing other students to plagiarize work from other students. I have searched on the web for a way to force sign out students from Creative Cloud. Nothing works including deleting the opm.db files, clearing the OOBE folder, and other like suggestions. Does anyone have idea on how I can sign a student out of Creative Cloud when the computer reboots?Thank you for any assistance.
