Solved

PShop Brushes:  I have created some brushes on my PC at home copy of Photoshop, but how do I get them on to my laptop copy of Photoshop?  I have CC on both machines.

I have a 100+ page InDesign document. I only need to create a pdf of part of it. When I go to the Export Adobe PDF window, the range field does not allow me to insert a page range. I can only export the entire document. I'm new to CC. Older versions provided a range. Am I missing something here?Any help will be appreciated.

I think the following can be achieved using Channels but I don't know how, as I have very little experience with them.  In the first screenshot, I have a Curves adjustment layer lightening the highlights in the area bounded by the yellow rectangle.   Even though the Curves layer is applied to highlights only, it is somewhat affecting the entire area.  I only want the white paper pieces lightened, and not the dark green background.  (In the 2d screenshot, the adjustment layer is turned off, showing the unaffected background as I want it to appear.)   Is this best done by using Channels, and if so, how?  Thanks.

Using the lasso tool I’ll run into this problem:“Warning: No pixels are no more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible.” So I cannot make my selection. Thanks for any help on this.  make my selection. Thanks for any help on this.

I would like to know if Photoshop 7.0 will work with a Windows 10 system as it has with Windows XP and Windows 7.0.  I get all I need out of PS 7.0 so I don't want to buy an upgrade when I already have what I want.  The question also applies to Adobe ImageReady 7.0 which came with the PS 7.0 bundle. And, has anyone tried Gimpshop which is a freeware and a recommended alternative to Photoshop for those who only use the simple versions.

Hi, When users use PDF version 1.7 and AES 128 bits encryption in Windows XP and Windows 7, what is the minimum required Adobe Reader support version?Other : If user use PDF version 1.7 or 1.6 in Windows XP and Windows 7, what is the minimum required Adobe Reader support version? (Don't use encryption)Thanks,Eric

I have used Vanishing Point several times and understand how it works...  I have not used it in quite some time.  This is happening in both versions of photoshop — Beta and 2025.  I have an image, I create a new layer on top and create my vanishing point and click okay.  Bring in my second image and copy to clipboard.  Go back to the vanishing point layer and paste.  My grid turns to a solid blue outline, but no image.  I have gone over this many times and I can't figure out what is happening. Please help if you have experienced the same, or if you see what I may be doing wrong. Thank you so much for ending the madness!

I had Adobe Acrobat X Standard installed on 2 laptops. One laptop has crashed and is no longer in use and I deleted all information on that laptop. I have recently purchased a new laptop and I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Standard on the new computer but I get a message telling me that the Product Key is already installed on 2 computers. However, that is incorrect because I deleted the Application on the crashed computer and it is now only on one laptop.  I logged into my Personal Profile on Adobe to manage the account but it only showed 2 computers which includes the new computer.  The one that crashed is not showing in my profile so I don't know why it is still saying that the Application is on 2 computers and therefore I cannot download on the new computer. I am unable to contact anyone at Adobe to assist me with this problem.  Does anyone have a recommended solution for me? Please?  Thank you in advance for your assistant.

@Aaron31559119txbg i had a spare 1/2 hour so took a stab at it

I tried to update the software the other day and I'm having issues. How much space is needed to update Adobe Software? Do you need more than 2.5 gb free to do updates?

I tried to save this file local and it told me it was a 2020 version. What is the difference between and online version and a desktop version? I need to give a copy to a client after I do the work. I don't need to put this into the cloud

In Design spacebar closes app instead of creating a space.  This only in InDesign as it works OK elsewhere

I'm currently using Photoshop 20.0.7 on Windows 10. The Creative Cloud app is inviting to install version 21.0.1. Before updating I want to understand an apparent change of name in the new version. The Creative Cloud app describes my current version as Photoshop DESKTOP, and the new version as Photoshop MOBILE. What are the implications of the new name?   {Thread renamed by moderator}

(I've placed this post under InDesign since it's the app I use most often, but it also happens in Illustrator)• At random times (sometimes when I first launch InDesign CC or Illustrator CC and other times after I've been working in the app for a short while) two things occur:• The cursor changes to the hand tool and/or I'm unable to type a space in any Adobe app. So, except for moving the document around with the hand tool, I'm completely unable to do anything. I can't use any of the tools to make image frames, text boxes, etc. AND I can't select any objects, nothing!• The only way I can get use of any tools is to restart my iMac (a brand new Mac, so could be an OS issue (12.0.1.) Then, if I'm lucky I can use the tools for awhile, otherwise, I'm retsarting again and hoping for the best.• I even went so far as to buy a new keyboard, but that hasn't made any difference. As you can imagine, it's frustrating having to keep stopping midway through every project and restarting. ANY help would

Good evening,I can no longer use my space bar to mark spaces between words when I type. I can manually insert a punctuation space but I can't get a space with the space bar. I must have made a wrong setting, does anyone have any ideas?Thank You !Valerie

Hey all!Why can't I do any opacity setting in the adjustment layer in premiere pro? All I can do is color correction, but not keyframing any opacity work. Please help.

I need some help. I created an Adobe account for Me. But I plan on using it basically to buy images under Standard license to post them on the website and social media for the Company I work for. And the Company owner would be aware. But is it ok for me to do that? Do I need to upgrade the license? Does the adobe account need to be in the Company owner's name? Basically I would use the images I downloaded under standard license to advertise the products we sell. We would not resell the images themselves, but we'd use them to highlight our products on both our website and our social media. Can I use a Standard license to do so? Or do I require a different license? Any help you can provide would be truly appreciate!

As the title suggests, the Fill & Sign feature is completely missing on a freshly installed system. This feature works perfectly on my other devices, yet for some inexplicable reason, it refuses to appear on this one. I was genuinely unaware that such a fundamental function—one that countless users rely on—could be so utterly broken for so many people. I have exhausted every conceivable fix: changing language settings, tweaking registry values, installing every possible update, and yet, nothing. At this point, I am genuinely at my wits' end. Why should something so basic require this level of troubleshooting? More importantly, why is it broken in the first place? I can access Fill & Sign on the cloud, but that is completely useless for my needs. I am paying for a service that cannot even provide its core functionality. What exactly is my subscription fee funding? To make matters worse, Adobe’s support system is a masterclass in frustration. No matter what time of

Yesterday I installed Illustrator and Creative Cloud on a new PC to replace my old desktop.  When I openned Illustrator and logged in, my history and Library files where present.  At one point I had to delete the old computer from my list of machines that have access to my account [a limit of two].  I do not know if this is related but at some point, I lost all my history and Library files.  Can anyone tell me what might have happened and if this is recoverable?

Hi, I would need to access the ids of the graphs present in the default node library in Designer using the Python API. For example nodes such as "Cells 4" or "Switch". I can see Designer is able to extract the relevant ids from packages located into the resources/packages system folder when we right-click on a library node, we can see both the .sbs path and the graph id. For example the "auto_crop.sbs" package contains both "auto_crop_color" and "auto_crop_grayscale" graph ids. I would basically need to access this same information from the Python API, I don't think this is possible right-now.

Hi, newbie here. Please would you mind letting me know if I have set bleed correctly - see first screenshot attached. I dragged the black background to the red line  Am I meant to drag it past that line though? And for the white page on the left, do I to drag the white background out to the red line too? On all my white pages, I don’t have any images sitting close to the page edge so not sure if I need to? I also attach the bleed settings in Document Setup. I set slug to zero as I don’t have any extra info for the printer. I hugely appreciate your help.

The hard drive all my adobe apps BESIDES creative cloud died yesterday. This means I can't "uninstall" any of the apps, because the drive they are on doesn't exist. This results in CC always failing to install any of the apps to my system. I've changed the location for installations from G:/Adobe (the dead drive) to F:/Adobe (one of the drives that still works), but every time I try to install Photoshop (or Indesign, etc), it kicks back a 146 error and the error log always shows that the problem is it is trying to use the G drive again.FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobePhotoshop26-Core_x64', version:26.4.1.194 FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobePhotoshop26-Core_x64 Version: 26.4.1.194). The color palette will become black and white when using spot colors in Photoshop. When using a white brush to paint the spot color layer, the spot color layer image will disappear, which is the opposite of the image appearing when the mask white brush is painted. What is the meaning and function of black and white painting in the spot color palette?
