There are blue dots peppered in the menus, hinting at "new features".  They are supposed to go away once you actually use this feature.    However for quite some time now for me those blue dots return, when not at fresh PC boot then at least after any oh so minor update of InDesign.    Since there seems to be no setting to not "bother" me with new "features", is there any workaround? Do I need to set write rights to folders/files or something like that?

I’m currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro Enterprise (Version 2026) and have a few questions about the New Acrobat interface and its long‑term availability. Does Adobe plan to remove the option to enable/disable the New Acrobat interface? If so, is there any timeline for when this toggle will be removed? I’m teaching a class on Acrobat basics and want to make sure I’m preparing students correctly if the classic interface is only temporary. Quick Actions Toolbar: In the New Acrobat interface, is it possible to dock the Quick Actions toolbar at the top and customize it the way we could in the previous version? Navigation Bar Placement: Can the Navigation Bar be moved to the top in New Acrobat, or is that only possible if the new interface is disabled? Any guidance or official information would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I’m teaching the most future‑proof workflow.Thank you!

When I move .pdf files from my email into a Windows Explorer folder they are always blocked from view until I unblock them.  This used to not be the case.  How can I fix this?

▎ What happens: I open a standard fillable AcroForm PDF (89 form fields: 66 text + 23 checkbox), add one text field via Prepare a Form, and Save. On save, Acrobat silently drops ~20 of the 89 fields — specifically all the checkbox/radio (button) fields (e.g.   ▎ agency-type checkboxes, AM/PM toggles, accept/reject options). The text fields survive; the buttons vanish. There is no warning. The resulting file is broken for downstream automated form-filling.  ▎ The form is clean — I verified at the PDF level:  ▎ - Not an XFA/hybrid form (no /XFA).  ▎ - No security, encryption, or certification (no /Encrypt, /Perms).  ▎ - All 89 fields are well-formed (each has a proper /FT, /T, and /Rect).  ▎ - NeedAppearances = true in the AcroForm dictionary.   ▎ My theory: on save, Acrobat regenerates field appearance streams (because NeedAppearances is set), and the appearance regeneration for the checkbox/radio fields fails — and instead of erroring, it drops those fields.

My wife’s uncle passed and I have an image of him holding a beer. All I want is him to lift the hand holding the beer slightly in a parting gesture.  Firefly will have hime put down that beer grab another, change hands at times, etc.

Hi everyone.I’m looking for an offline tool that can reduce JPG/PNG export sizes from Photoshop or Lightroom without noticeable loss of detail or color accuracy.I work with large batches of images (client galleries, events, etc.) and I’m trying to optimize storage and upload times while keeping fine details like skin texture, hair, fabric patterns, and micro‑contrast intact.Recently I came across a tool called ETK Image Compressor Pro, which claims up to 90% size reduction while preserving detail. It’s Windows‑native and works after exporting from Adobe apps.Has anyone here tested similar offline tools or has experience with this one?

Hello, I have been using an adobe account that I made a long time ago and want to transfer all 7000 pictures I have from my old adobe account onto my new adobe account.   Besides downloading all of my pictures and re-uploading them to my new account, is there a way I can do this that is built into adobe?    Thank you     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hi,We are having an issue with Adobe InDesign where files saved on a network drive are opening as read-only. What’s happening:Files open as read-only for multiple users Save option forces “Save As” On the server, files show as open by a user That user does not actually have the file openWhat I’ve checked:Users confirmed file is not open on their device Checked open sessions on the server > It shows as the file being open by the user eventhough it’s not Disabled Preview Pane in Windows Explorer Deleted .idlk lock files where found Copied files locally → works fine (not read-only) Checked permissions (all OK) Restarted machines Updated InDesign to latest versionThis is happening across multiple files and users, only on the network drive. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

I used firefly yesterday for the first time within photoshop, using firefly within photoshop. i went to finish up today. I have plenty of credits, i keep getting oops something went wrong. I certainly didnt do anything wrong. I was working on some character reference, and some things for discord challenges with google and nanobanna tools. any help would be great. ive been a pro subscriber with a adobe for a very long time. and firefly before wasnt much in my workflow, but now with the challeges from google and discord gave me a reason to try it. and certainly i want to use it within photoshop.

I create a selection, use generative ai to add (in this case) a grass lawn. Why does it not follow the lines of the selection? Why does it not completely fill in the selection? Thank you for your help!!Best wishes,SP

Yesterday I checked my Firefly credits and had over 900 left, but when I opened it today, it suddenly dropped to 0. I also checked my history and everything looks normal—there are no extra projects. I was wondering if this might be a bug？

Hello,I'm getting pretty frustrated because I just can't seem to find a way to save my Word file as a PDF for a book without losing any quality. When I save directly in Word, the file gets heavily compressed, even though I've selected “High Fidelity” and “Do Not Compress” in the options. It doesn’t work with Adobe Acrobat Pro either. Since my file is over 100 MB, I always get an error message saying that conversion to PDF only works with files up to 100 MB. But even if I reduce the file to under 100 MB beforehand, it still gets heavily compressed with Adobe Acrobat Pro—even worse than when I save it directly as a PDF in Word. What am I doing wrong here? I just want to convert my Word file to a PDF without any loss of quality.

Uni gifted us a license for a year. That just ended and normally I should renew it via the site uni gives us. But I recently bought a Logitech mouse and with that came a month of Creative Cloud Pro. So I wanted to activate that before needing to pay again for my school account. Apparently I just discovered that there is a difference between a personal profile and a school profile. My problem is that the free month has been added to my personal profile, which I don’t use. Is there any way to switch this? Because I would rather not waste this gift.  Also right now my school account shows that I have no access to my apps and my personal profile requires me to download everything. When following that process it starts Photoshop, but immediatly kicks me out because I don’t have a subscribtion for it. I also don't seem to be able to switch between my (locked) school account and my personal account in the creative cloud desktop app. Any help or advice with all of this would be appriciated!

Is it possible to save this as it is? Save them as layers in a psd file isn’t what I am looking for.

When Acrobat Pro opens, within 10 seconds a darkened background and a blank gray modal dialog/overlay appears in the center of the screen. The dialog contains no text, buttons, loading icon, or close option, and it blocks all interaction with the application. I can still see the Acrobat interface dimmed behind it.The only way to close Acrobat is through Task Manager. Restarting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat, and trying common keyboard shortcuts such as Esc, Alt+F4, Enter, and Alt+Space have not resolved the issue. The problem appears shortly after opening a PDF, or even just opening Acrobat without opening a specific PDF.I have attempted the solution offered here without success: https://community.adobe.com/questions-12/acrobat-white-box-after-install-1505692System: Windows 11. Acrobat Pro installed through Adobe Creative Cloud. Latest updates across the board.

I am trying to update my adobe stock payment method, and am unable to because the payment window that pops up keeps crashing. I have tried clearing my cache, opening it in an incognito tab, opening it in a new browser, and even on a different computer. Nothing seems to be working.

I downloaded the Elements 12 installer from my account's list of Registered Products and installed the program. On starting the Editor function the program required me to sign in, which I did but still could not open the Editor - another "Required sign in" pops up.

"This just happened: right after I applied Effect → Blur → Gaussian Blur to a circular object, a bounding box appeared around it. How can I get rid of this outer box?"

Hello All,I am developing a C++ plugin on InDesign Server 2026, where I need to resize the margins on the Master Pages. And based on new Inside / Outside margin values need to adjust the text frames (left and right ) on the master page. I tried adjusting through C++ functions like SetPathBoundingBox() / SetStrokeBoundingBox() /  Utils<Facade::IGeometryFacade>()->SetItemsBounds(). We noticed the text frame does not resize correctly. it leaves spaces either on Left or Right side.I also tried calling java script to use the option AutoAdjustLayout which is on Margins dialog.var mydoc = app.documents.item(0);var myadjustprefs = mydoc.adjustLayoutPreferences;myadjustprefs.enableAdjustLayout = true; This does set the option as selected but does not reflect the text frames.Has anyone tried this. Any advice or help would be really helpful. Thanks & RegardsFarzana.

Lightroom offers a “Share & Invite” option otherwise known as the web based Lightroom galleries. Comments and “likes” can be added to the images in these galleries. But there are no ways for the person writing those comments or “liking” those images to know how many or which images were liked. How it this not something that exists in Lightroom?? Basic image selection and proofing for clients. It is beyond me why this wouldn’t be made possible and just makes it a headache for any photographer to get feedback and images selected by their clients. Please, PLEASE, make it happen.

Hello Adobe Support,I purchased a Creative Cloud Pro Student plan on May 19, 2026. My invoice shows that the service term is valid until May 18, 2027.I recently discovered that my subscription is no longer active. My account now shows "You have no paid plans" and asks me to restart the plan. After checking my email, I realized that Adobe sent me a student verification email on May 20, 2026, but I did not complete the verification at that time. The verification link has now expired. My invoice and order history are still available in my account.Could you please help me reactivate my student verification process or resend the verification email so that I can restore access to my subscription?Thank you.

Hi Adobe Support,I recently paid for a Creative Cloud subscription using Apple Pay. The payment was successfully completed, but my account was later canceled due to suspected fraud, and I no longer have access to the services.I have already paid for this subscription, but I am not able to use the service at all. I am requesting either restoration of my account access or a full refund to my original payment method.Since the service has not been provided after payment, I expect this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.Thank you.<Removed by Moderator>

How do I get Garamond in Adobe? That is the font I used for my document, but after formatting and saving as a pdf, Garamond is not listed as a font I can use. It defaults to Minion. What’s going on?

Hello Adobe Support Team and Community,My Adobe Stock account has been compromised. I received an email notifying me that the email address associated with my account had been changed without my authorization.Since then, I am no longer able to access my account. I tried contacting the online support agent, but they were unable to locate my account using either my original email address or the new one that was set by the attacker. In addition, an unauthorized subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro was purchased using my credit card. I have already blocked my card through my bank to prevent further charges.I have already reported this incident to law enforcement authorities.I still have proof of ownership of the account, including invoices, billing statements, and purchase history linked to my original account.Could someone from Adobe please advise me on the correct escalation path to recover my account and cancel any unauthorized subscriptions?
