Solved

Hello, when I open any PDF file, a tab appears at the bottom of the Windows taskbar. However, when I drag the document to the second monitor, a ghost tab appears next to the original tab – see image. When I drag the document back to the first monitor, this second tab is also dragged. This second tab cannot be clicked. It is a dead, ghost tab. This started happening when I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have the latest version of Adobe. Windows is up to date. Thank you for your help.

HOW?

Howdy, I face an annoying issue with photomerge (true for HDR and Panorama) since some days.I noticed this in the (as of Septmber 26th 2025) newst version 14.5.1 on windows 11 home. When I do a photo merge (as written regardless if HDR or Panorama) the process behaves weird. The progressbar goes forward until around 90% then steps back and the a second process kicks in "Saving metadata" which seems to be stuck. In this state the processes are stuck:  Terminating the metadata process does not help the other one still is stuck. I can terminate the creation process also and the respective merged image is indeed created. Of course having terminated the processes no stack is created and the created image has no metadata.Oh I tried with autosync on and off. What I tried so far:updating nvidia driversreplaced the catalog with the one I know from my other laptopdowngrading to an older version such as 14.3.1downgrading to the latest 13.x.x version (no success because database no lon

I am doing pdf/ua accessibility work, most issues I can resolve with ABBYY Finereader OCR Editor and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. I use PAC 2021, and it flags internal links as "alternative description missing for an annotation." Regular links I can create a content entry through preflight, but there appears to be no similar option for internal links in Pro 2020. I have figured out I can manually do the alt text descriptions, but seeing as my documents have 100+ annotations, I'm not inclined to spend an hour working on one document that should take 5 minutes. So I'm wondering if I simply need to update my software, working with PAC 2021 and Pro 2020, I don't know if there's options for internal links in more recent softwares or not. I did notice that DC has plugins and that could help, but I'm an amateur when it comes to this stuff, so help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm new to firefly but have been experimenting with video AI for a few months now. One of the features I'm looking for is to take an existing graphic look and copy that look with some simple animation design. This has worked really well in Chatgpt for still images but need a video solution. I tried another program with little success, so now it's Firefly's turn. However, I meeting with even lesser results and am now wondering if its the prompt or the limitation of the firefly platform to create the prompt. I was able to generate a still image in chatgpt based on the prompt but as I would like to add some animation like type-on text I need a motion generator. Here's the prompt I used and I will attach the file to show what it produced. If anyone knows a better way to go about this please post. using the text in this image, create a new graphic. replace the world "ARRIVES" with the word "WORLDS".Each letter should type on. The text should have a subtle drift which scales up to m

I've added a multicamera sequence to my timeline just as I have many times before but no matter what I try, I can't get it to display the other angles in the multicamera view. I've even tried a clean reinstall. Did something change with this version? How do I get the multicamera view back?

I am getting completely ignored when it comes to buffer expansion via SmartFX and I do not know why. Here is what I learned until now: - Both rects must be set to the expanded rect- Account for buffer expansion in SmartRender Here is the issue I currently have (expanding the buffer 200 pixels in each direction): The buffer only expands in the top-left part and it looks smth like this: It should clearly look something like this instead: Now, absolutely no one wants to help, I don't have the slighest idea why this happens. The buffer expands in the top-left direction but it shrinks in the bottom-left direction. It does not make any sense. Here is my current code (btw if you set both rects to the expanded rect, PF_RenderOutputFlag_RETURNS_EXTRA_PIXELS is not needed: static PF_Err PreRender( PF_InData* in_data, PF_OutData* out_data, PF_PreRenderExtra* extra) { PF_Err err = PF_Err_NONE; PF_RenderRequest req = extra->input->output_request; PF_Checkou

I get a red screen with an exclamation point in the middle of it when I open a project on my mac desktop after filming on my iPhone. The red screen goes away after a few days, so I am wondering if this is an upload speed issue, or something else. I am not a video person and this is my first attempt at doing anything like this, so I may be doing something wrong, but I can't seem to find any instructions or tips that address the problem.   Specs:   iPhone X, ios12.0.1   iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5, AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB

This seems to be an issue multiple people have had in the past. However none of the solutions mentioned previously are working for me. When I go to save any photoshop file, the 'save to cloud documents' option is greyed-out.I have updated photoshop and creative cloud,I am logged into creative cloud,I am connected to a stable wifi connection,And I am trying to save as .PSD, At this stage I think it may be a bug? Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks.(Photoshop v26.11, MacOS)

I'm unsure if this is a false postive but virustotal said 2/72 that there was a trojan warning. I did 3 full scans of my pc with malwarebytes and windows defender and nothing happened is this a false postive? I first installed it from Microsoft store and was worried that was virus, when I installed creative cloud on my pc it opened the microsoft store one and also when I downloaded the file again and scanned it, it said trojan warning, same for each adobe app I installed. And when i was done downloading my monitor went zoom in snd everything was grey. Image is the reconstruction of it

are my adobe cloud files all saved in this section here? : https://assets.adobe.com Is there any difference between cloud and creative cloud  fiiles section anymore in adobe or are they merged? I can see automatically all of my files being saved in that link, but I awant to make sure I dont loose any file by mistake, meaning placed in a different section. Thank you

I'm working on a large complex multi-year documentary project using the Productions workflow, so my media is in separate projects than my timeline (original footage is in one project, archival footage in another project, each act of the film is in its own project, and so on, to keep file sizes and autosaves reasonable). When I go to export one of my timelines, I get the warning: "Offline material is present in this export and will be encoded using the Offline Media graphic." I'm not seeing an offline clip anywhere in the timeline, but the timeline is long and complex, so there could possibly be an offline file hiding somewhere. What is the best way to definiteively locate these clips? Because my media is in multiple different projects in Productions, it does not really work to use properties in the Project panel to find offline clips as in Gerik Parmele's method shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4KnfCwbuvI Please let me know if you've found or can think of a different way!

Hi All,My Acrobat Pro program has crashed twice when attempting to save a multi-page file produced from a number of scans.  I have sucessfully scanned and saved the introduction and the first two chapters of a book I am having reprinted.  That was about 80 pages in three separate files to which  the OCR recogition software was applied. When I attempted to save a subsequent chapter with the same settings as the previous three I was presented with a blank screen (see screenshot) instead of the save as dialogue box.   I called the Adobe help number and the tech took control of the computer and "saved" the file.  I asked him about why the crash happened and he said it was "just a glitch" and as a result of his intervention it would not happen again.   I saw the saved file in the file list on my computer's file manager, or whatever they call it these days.  I never thought I should open the file.  When I later opened it all my sett
